Well it is slow at work today so I am just bouncing back and forth from my Snow skiing forums to here. I saw someone said the food is bland on the DCL it is good though right?

I mean me and steph have been on several cruises with other lines but never DCL, we are virgins there. I would say RCL has the most seasoned food but you can't beat a carnival Hamburger!!!!

Jeff - I just read your response from the Samantha Brown post You can tell the girls that I have also been on Dance Party USA with Kelly Ripa when I was in 7th grade and was in a commerical for a King Kullen (Long Island Supermarket). However I am sure the thing that will impress them the most is that I met Rico on my cruise in June.

I don't think the Dance Party USA or Kelly Ripa will have any impact on the girls... But yes, the Rico thing should. But we just LOVE Samantha Brown in our house.

Just so you know, the gift exchange at our meet works kind of like a secret Mickey because everyone brings one gift representing their area of the world and then names are chosen to do the exchange. That may be why no one is responding at this point - some folks may actually be confused... Just thought you'd wanna know.

Now that you said his name...that's it....just had a senior moment I guess but the island show was great and some of the food looked really good also....

Hey I know that I am always behind on things...but I did finally taste a BLL at the wedding saturday nite.....it really wasnt to bad....but I'm not a huge fan of beer anyway.....

RCL definitely has better food. I am a very picky eater so I am limited to what I eat and I will say dinner is not the best and the breakfast buffet is bad. Dinner is not terrible, it's about the same quality you find in the parks. However, I do enjoy the lunch buffet and love my chicken fingers and french fries on deck 9. Room service is pretty good too.
