Howdy ya'll!! Sorry I aint been round much. Its huntin season here in Arkansas and me un Verna been out tryen to bag us a 30 point buck to put in the freezer fur the winter. Finaly got em today!! I think I'm a gonna get me one of them new fangle repeating rifles cause this huntin with a black power muzle loader is getten kinda old. I'm headed out to hang the carcass up in the shed so it cun age fur a few weeks. Verna's in doing laundry so we can get the deer urine smell out of are cloths. Ya have to smell like em so you can get close to em!

Evening all.......

Back from the wedding and needed to unwind......Had a very nice time, the bride looked beautiful....I really liked the girls dresses....we had a good time...the dj was pretty good...alto a bit to loud.... I guess I'm showing my age now... But we did have a good time. Get to see Heather tomorrow afternoon then I take her back to the airport. But will get to see her in January when she comes in.

Just a quick note to say hello! Things are going great in Russia and we are really having a blast.

Internet access is very limited for us, so I may not be able to post anything before we return to Georgia.

Miss you all and can't wait to share the pictures and stories when we return!

Nobody on but me I guess. I am calling it quits with work for tonight/morning. The wedding was very nice today. Nothing fancy, just a nice simple ceremony. The food was very good and I think DH did a fantastic job with the pictures and they really appreciated us taking the time to help them with that. Finally got home around 6:30pm (had to make a drug store stop for DD who sick and grocery store stop), then it was to my office about 30 minutes later and work, work, work.

Denise glad the ultrasound went well!!! I'm thrilled for you and everyone else...very exciting time!

DD is so worried about missing a week of school that now I feel so guilty for taking this cruise this time of the year. They take so many notes in class in 6th grade. Going to talk to her teacher soon and see what we can do about this. Anyone with 6th or 7th grader have any suggestions or advice about what you might be doing?

Okay well time for bed for me in a bit so I'll check in tomorrow and see what all you guys are talking about.

I know I don't post all that often so it seems none of my questions seemed to get answered but here's another one for you guys...who is really going all out and formal for formal night? DH doesn't own a tux so we are just thinking of taking a couple of his nice suits. I was thinking of going dress shopping soon but not real sure what to look for long gown formal or what?

I have an 8th grader and I have to say, I really think I won't take her out of school again for a week. I think 3 days is my limit. I spoke with her Earth Science teacher and she is going to give her all her work and let her make up all her labs BEFORE we leave so that makes me feel good, SS, Math and English I left them all a voice mail, but am not as worried about those classes as I am with Earth Science as they are easier to make up.

Next year she will be in High School so that ends it for us, my older DD won't miss school, the last year she missed school for vacation was 6th grade and she begged us never to do it again and we didn't until this year, and she isn't cruising with us as she is a senior now and has a full AP schedule.

I know it's hard to do as they suffer because they are the ones who have to make up the work, not us, but it is so much less money to travel off season.

Oh well, enough rambling. What was your original question

His surgery went well and hopefully he can go home tomorrow.

Man, I want an iphone too! My birthday is in a week, so maybe I'll get one for that. I don't know how much the service costs; I heard it's a lot! I LOVE gadgets! My husband laughs because I don't ever want flowers, and even jewelry is just okay; if you really want to show me you love me, buy me electronics!!! I'm so weird!

OMG I got it. And it's even better than I had been prepared for. I had an itouch so I thought it would just be an itouch with a phone. But it does SOOOOOOOOOO much more. Love it Love it Love it. You need to get one Lisa!

The service actually isn't that much. We switched from verizon to AT&T and got one iphone and one non-iphone. Even with the data package for the iphone, we are paying exactly the same as we paid for verizon without all the bells and whistles. Bottom line is that the data package adds $30 to your monthly fee - and then a minimal texting plan (200/month) is another $5. I can't remember what unlimited texting is but we don't use it enough to need it. I only text my Bananahead BFFs.
