I am definitely in on the martini tastings again ... er ... I mean, to try it for the first time ever. Mutt and Mikey (and BFW?) are doing tequila tasting.

Jeff, I think I wouldn't mind going to the wine tasting, you will have to let me know.
So Woo now gets to add yet another thing to the nana cruisemate list..group martini tasting, tequila tasting, wine tasting....anyone see a theme here

We will have to bring Miss Elizabeth out of her shell on this trip, maybe those special FE, gifts, just for her and Em and Jess will help???

She is feeling sad that Stacey isn't going to be with us so hopefully she will make another good friend. She has been emailing (and still needs to email) a few of the girls and wasn't that interested due to the Stacey factor -but now she is getting excited. Since we are going to WDW in December we are going to hopefully get together with Pat and her family so that has helped make her feel better.

You would be amazed to see Elizabeth with her friends -and she really has a ton of friends. She is a completely different person - sometimes loud, very outgoing and generally a leader in her group.

It's more sedate than the martini tasting but they really do taste some good wines and they are relatively generous with them too. I can't do the tequila tasting because although I will drink an occasional margarita, straight tequila brings back bad college memories and makes me sick.

I have probably seen this show about Freedom of the Seas as many times as the DCl show and I'm just so intrigued by the look of the ship and the activities and the waterpark and the promenade. Would love to do it. Very interested in the wine bar!

I am waiting for the Oasis of the Seas. That ship is amazing. I don't care where it cruises because I will stay on the ship the entire time.

Oh and the patterns for the tastings are pretty consistent. generally around 1, 2 and 3 p.m. on at-sea days. I think Mina and I left Palo Brunch and went right to Martini tasting on the Mexican Riviera cruise.

For sure. We haven't set a date yet but Pat told me that they don't have the blackout passes this year, so they can go to parks in holiday periods so it will depend on their schedule. We generally meet on a weekend day because of work schedules, but with the holiday (and the fact that we aren't going to be there on a full weekend day, I'm not sure how it will work out. We want it to be on a magic kingdom day though since there's a lot for all the kids - any age- to do there. Though we had great fun at AK with them a couple years ago too.

She has been in the hospital for 2 weeks and they just found a blood clot in her heart but the nurse told my Mother other than that she is fine. I am expecting to get a very unpleaseant phone call any day now Is there really anything they can do?
