What time of year did you guys go?

Hubby decided tonight that we need to make sure to go back to Cozumel when the kids are older and we can all do some of the more adventurous excursions together Sound good to me

I think we were there in May. Haven't been on a western caribbean sailing at this time of the year yet so I don't know what to expect in Coz in Nov. We did our other western in August and obviously it was very hot.

is anyone planning to parasail this time? I did it last year (after 2 failed attempts due to weather cancellation) and it is pretty good in CC. I love parasailing in Hawaii the most but I wouldn't mind doing it again this year at CC if anyone else was willing to go with. Shell? Cheri? Bill? Greg? Anyone? Bueller?

And yes that is the hardest part with little ones. We have been on the last two Bananahead sailings and both have been eastern and we REALLY wanted to go to St. John. We had gone there for a week when my oldest was about 3 years old (maybe younger..I Have a bad memory). Anyway, the DCL excursions don't allow kids under 5 and the time on STT is so tight that I'd be a little nervous doing it on our own in terms of making sure we got back to the ship.

A sweet story that I hope someone can make sure Wendy hears/sees. My wife was talking about the hurricane and the fact that Wendy had to be at the hospital and that her husband and son were evacuating. Elizabeth became very interested in what was going on and was watching the weather channel. She remembered that Wendy sent the girls a package of goodies when their grandmother took ill suddenly last year and subsequently passed away. And she said, with no prompting "That was so nice of her to do...we need to do something to help her."

Hi Jeff: See kids do pay attention and things that we think they dont either seem to understand, or that they dont have feelings why it was done....they always seem to surprise you and make you proud when they say things like this...that was very sweet of her to say that. Good job, Jeff and Mina!!!!

Folks, I've been on the phone with Wendy several times today. To give you an update, the city now has a mandatory evacuation but the hospital is remaining open at this point. Although she is frightened of what is coming, Wendy is a medical professional and knows what needs to be done.

The highway out of town is a parking lot and no one is moving, so even if she could leave, it would be a slow, frustrating trip.

Mike & Austin are in Baton Rouge but now they're thinking that may not be far enough, so they may pack up and go further inland as Baton Rouge may get 100 mph winds.

Pray for my BFF.

Hi Gailyn ... I will let Wendy know of your kinds words, thoughts & prayers. For Palo's, you will request a time, but you cannot request a dining rotation online or anywhere else for that matter.

Just killing time until we can reserve. I am SOOOOOOO tired. I haven't slept more than 6 hours total in the last 3 days combined due to a variety of factors. BUt here I am,making sure I can have chocolate souffle at Palo.
