I also booked the 12/4/10 cruise but will probably transfer it to the new Disney ship, but I only have $125 tied up in each room as I booked 2 rooms but 1 person in each room.

BUT The OASIS OF THE SEAS also has my name on it and I think Chayce and Samantha wouldn't mind going either...Now to pick a date to suit us all. I am looking at the 2/13/10 Eastern Caribbean sailing. Let me know what you think Getting me excited again here Greg. That cruise has my name on it, and it is only a little over a year away and will be nice in the dead middle of winter we are thrown into sunshine Awww poor us

I am also booked the same week but will be moving my reservation to the new ships.

Just an FYI, Nov 2011 Thanksgiving is a week earlier (like last year) so we get an extra week between Thanksgiving and Christmas...sounds like the perfect time to cruise...I'm just sayin'

Taking a 2yr old on a cruise was not one of the smarter things I've ever done.

She wanted to play in the Kids club with Braden so bad, but of course she couldn't.

I was just askin....since the baby will be about 2 around cruise time.....if that dosnt work I will try pushing it out as far as I can.....just tryin to get some input about this......(as I have been out of the baby loop for a while and this will be all new to me)

I actually think if this goes thru....grandpa Wally may come with on the cruise he mentioned that he really wanted to go if Heather and the baby go.

Denise - I will differ on others here. Emily actually did BETTER when she was in Flounders than in the Club the first time. She LOVED flounders and they let her "help" watch the babies which made her feel like a big girl. And by helping she was basically just following the teachers around. She would probably keep going to FLounders now if she could. The first cruise she was eligible for the Club - she just wasn't ready. She thought she was going to love it but some of the kids were too rough and she was just a little over 3 and it just didn't work. This past time as a nearly five year old, she loved it. So bottom line is it depends on the kid. I know that GregLA and Stephanie were surprised by how much Wyatt liked Flounders. And the best news is that you can usually get more than the 10 hours allotted especially if your child likes it and is well behaved. We got a last minute Palo booking for dinner and they made room for us. We probably had more adult time on those first 2 cruises when Emily went to Flounders than we do now.

Is it cold there? We've had high seventies every day this week. Went to see the Osborne lights on Sunday and the Candlelight Procession last night. Awesome!

Lisa Rae, Monday our high was in the teens. Yesterday it never got above 25. I'm actually running around in a sweatshirt today rather than a jacket because its in the 30s. We acclimate quickly when we get home. So yes its REALLY cold.

Trey's boys are great. He's feeling good and its about time for his life to get back to normal.

We miss you guys too. Looking forward to your coming to visit.

Well back to work for me. I only have to work a little next week so I must pay the piper this week.

Miss you all so much! I have been looking at cruises for next year, but haven't decided on any. I like NCL next to DCL, so I'm looking at some of them. We'll just have to wait and see.

Niece Jaime graduated with honors from University of Central Florida in Orlando yesterday with a degree in Education. She gets married in March, so we're trying to find her a cruise for her honeymoon. They are getting married on the 14th, a Saturday, so we have to find them a cruise leaving the 15th, a Sunday, and there seem to be a lot fewer of them that are the longer cruises than ones that leave on Saturday.

Hi Denise, I'm sure it depends on the child. Some probably do great, but I knew Holly was really moody and was hoping all the new sites and sounds would keep her entertained......they didn't.

I think our biggest problem was all the characters on the ship....she wanted to stand next to them and just stare! Didn't want to touch them or be hugged or anything...just stand by and stare.

Of course this always put her in the way of photos, so we had to pull her back and she'd start screaming and throwing a tantrum....and waiting in line for "her" turn was not going to happen.
