Just checking in. Elizabeth has just left about to eat dinner. She couldn't have been better all weekend and then her mother came in  . Back to Toontown. I'll check back tomorrow. Snow is basically gone here except the piles! Getting cold again though.

Hi dawn:goodvibes

It was 62 and breezy here today. A little sun. Made me want to get my motorcycle out, but it's blocked in by my son's. Anyway it won't be so warm tomorrow. Can't wait till spring!

Can't wait for the cruise next November either, but don't want to wish all that beautiful motorcycle riding weather away either.

Went to the eye doctor today to have my new contacts rechecked. She let me try another kind and the right one got lost in my eye. She thought she had found a piece of it and got out whatever it was and said the rest of it must have fallen out. My eye was still bothering me when I got home so I started looking under the lid at the side where one had slipped the other day. I saw something light blue and ended up pulling out a whole contact lens. Don't know what she got out of my eye, but the whole lens was there. I suspect it may have been some hair. Since I'm a hairdresser it is always possible some hair got in there and that may be why the lens folded in the first place. It feels much better now. She told me I could start wearing my other contacts tomorrow. I'm glad I found this one before I put the other one in there.

Boy thats a weird thing to happen. I kinda wonder about your optometrist since she couldnt find the other contact under your eye lid??
My mom had lots of trouble with hers and we always had to go and help her find it or get it off her eye for her the first year she wore them.
We gave her a hard time about that.

Then she had cataracts removed and they stiteched her lenses to her eye, so nomore contacts. Now she has glasses and the contacts. She has weird eyes that dont reflect the light correctly or something strange like that.

Bev, how was your Christmas?

Have fun Brantley.
Our family Christmas will be New Years day, due to the bad weather we have had.

Staci's brother should be in tonight. He left from Michigan this morning and it is a 12 hour drive. He should be here around 10:00 tonight. Then we get to do Christmas all over!!!

Hi Dawn,
I am happy your snow is disappearing, at least for awhile.
Did you have a good Christmas? I'm sure the boys did, kids always do.
well I am off to do the dishes and take the pups out for a last potty break before bedtime.
Kathy

That sounds like a great plan to me, wish I could do that.
we had back to backs booked once but Gregs work schedule changed, so we still did the 2 weeks but about 3 months apart. That was in 06 with the first nanahead cruise. It was suppose to be B to B for us that time.

Just book a back to back cruise. When the rest of the nannas get off the boat on Saturday, you can stay on and head out on the eastern!!!:thumbsup2

That is about 45 minutes from where I live.

That is where my wife's family is from. Actually, she is from Davidson, which is right outside Flint. Most people usually know where Flint is, her grandmother lives there now. I think the actual town her brother lives in is Fenton.

TOP FOR ME TOO BRANTLEY!!!

WOO HOO!!!

The King seems to be scared away for now. The Queen still rules:worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship:

Were you really mean to him on the cruise or something???? :rotfl2:

He has not been on here as much and has actually switched cruise lines for next year?????:confused3

Jaime, we watched Walle the other week. I thought is was a cute move too. Although, I kept thinking about Jonny 5 from Short Circut!!!

Have you taken the girls to see Bolt yet? I think I might take the girls this afternoon...it looks pretty cute too.

First time in three days that I was able to leave the house!

We got over a foot of snow the in the past 48 hours.....most of the drifts are taller then I am!! :scared1:

We haven't gotten this much snow in probably 20 years!!

My parents and siblings had to park their pickups in town at the church and I had to ferry them to my house by snowmachine yesterday!! :lmao:

  Well I guess the bright side is you can't say you didn't have a white Christmas.:rotfl:

Just noticed your tickers your are going on RCCL & DCL in 2010?

It actually got up into the 50s today. It was pretty mild. I think it is suppose to be the same for the next several days. We do have all 4 seasons, although we use to get a lot more snow than we do now. We live near the foothills of the mountains here. About 30-40 minutes north of Charlotte. I hope we get at least one or two good snows here this year. It has gotten where it is not uncommon to not get snow during the winter. The good thing about getting snow here is that everything closes down for a day or two and you get to enjoy it. Staci is from Michigan and she says it it a lot nicer when you can enjoy the snow, instead of it staying around all winter. She says up there she remembers big piles of grey, dirty snow that hung aroung all winter. We do get ice storms from time to time. Those are a pain!!!!! Brings down the power lines and that is a mess!!!!

That's what happens here...we usually get 10 big storms together starting mid January and then the snow stays until April:scared1: It's gets dirty and yucky and we loose all our side walks because the snow is just too high.

Hi NANA'S

Just wanted to say Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!!!!!!!

Mark and I will not be sailing with you next year on the Magic. We found a really good deal with NCL for the same week. We were able to book a penthouse room with a 500.00 on board credit for the same price as the Magic. It was impossible to turn down. We have 2 trips to disney next year and are planning an adventures by disney for 2010, so we figured we could skip the magic and not have a disney withdrawal.

I'll stop by periodically and say hi

Chuck :goofy:

Hey Chuck...What did you book? What ship, when and what itinerary?
Details please LOL

Me too! That sounds like a great deal Chuck...have fun!

Where are you guys headed with Adventures by Disney...we just watch a travel show on them it looks really neat!

Good Morning Everyone! I've been busy playing Rockband, Guitar Hero, and Toontown!! Elizabeth will be here for the weekend in a few minutes.

We have temps almost to the 60s right now with rain, thunder and lightning! Tomorrow back to the 30s and ice!!!

Have a great weekend!

Hi Dawn:wave2: We had a Glen's family over yesterday and they played Rockband it was a lot of fun! Santa brought it to us.
