Ok, here is a short story for you guys.
Cozumel Jeep excursion
Here is a photo of our Jeep. It was the newest in the fleet. all are convertible with tops down for the tour which was nice.
Most of the tour is driving around almost the entire island of Cozumel.
Beautiful scenery along the coast about 95% of the tour.
It is a small narrow road with 2 way traffic although you really dont see another soul out there unless its another tour.
As we were crusing along the coastal area looking at the beaurtiful scenery we saw a jeep similar to ours.,approaching us at a high speeds it got closer we all slowed down and pulled to the right just a bit to let it pass by safely.
When the jeep was close we saw a nice looking, well "endowed" lady standing up in the jeep facing us waving her arms and yelling WOO HOO!!!!
She was in her birthday suit!!!
We had 2 other people sharing our jeep and I told Walter, stay in the road and Greg said Well that was worth the money we spent on this excursion
Of course the next stop was lunch and that was the talk of the tables.
Ok, the rest of the excursion was very nice with NO big surprizes like that and she had BIG SURPRIZES is you get my drift!!
They served a nice mexican lunch with chicken Fajitas, rice, chips and salsa, something else I dont remember and sodas. Greg said it was very good.
We did stop and see a replica of an old Catholic church from Mayan days
thatched roof building for gatherings
Inside is decorated with colorful pieces of cloth
There were many stores like this we stopped at too.
One tip if you ever do a driving excursion where YOU drive a vehicle.
Read the extra paper they give you as your starting to drive away.
we assumed it was a typical waiver paper and signed without reading, Ofc ourse you are n line and need to get moving so you really dont take time to read stuff. Once we got back, Greg happened to read our copy.
It was saying we assumed ALL responsibility for any accidents and our insurnace would cover it or we would paya ll costs.
Now our insurance wont cover you while out of the country unless you notify them before hand and they will charge you extra for the time your covered there.
so if we had had a wreck, it would of come out of our pockets!!!
Lesson learned:: Dont drive, let the other guy do it, atleast to start so he is responsible on the paper, if Walter had wrecked we were the ones who signed and would of been responsible.
Notify your insurnace is you plan to drive while out od the country.
We hadnt plnned on that excursion until we couldnt dock at Grand Caymen, so deicded while on board to book it.
It was a nice excursion though. You saw places a normal tourist would never get to see and the guides were very nice.
Cheryl and her family were there too.
