me watching the pups explore the creek bank. for you fishermen out there, there are many nice brook trout in this creek, 10 to 16 inches and they are native, not planters

This was the other covered bridge, I think it was built in 1925 or close to it.
It si not safe to drive, so you can only walk through it.

This is really too dark to see inside but there are 6 support beams that are a solid one piece(an entire tree) that are 85 feet long, by 2 feet wide and 16 inchs thick. That had to be a monster of a tree to be that big after doing all the trimming. There were 6 big beams there. you can see the two top beams on each side.

Just checked back to see what was brewing. Quiet.

It is hot here too--85 degrees.

We watched Picture This last night. Anyone else watch it? It was an OK movie. Nothing to rave about. I thought it had too much lying to the parent in it.

Hi Dawn,
sorry didnt see the picture last night.
I watched a new episode of Bones and House which I never watched before but thought I would give them a try.
Tonight is new episodes of NCIS which I really like.
Friday is new episodes of Monk and Psych. I love Psych, it kind of grows on you after a few episodes to get to know the characters.


I bought a bunch of cheap DVD's out of a bin the other day and was surprized the first 2 were actually pretty good.

well we are almost ot the 85 they predicted for today.
Dogs are sleeping, so all is quiet for now.
Soon I will need to turn on the AC, for now all the windows are open and a small fan is blowing along with s slight breeze.

Due to high electric bills I dont turn on the AC until I have to.

A man was caught stealing from a supermarket while balancing on the shoulders of vampires











he was charged with shoplifting on two counts

A local news station was interviewing an 80-year-old lady because she had just gotten married -- for the fourth time.
The interviewer asked her questions about her life, about what it felt like to be marrying again at 80, and then about her new husband's occupation.

'He's a funeral director,' she answered.
'Interesting,' the newsman thought. He then asked her if she wouldn't mind telling him a little about her first three husbands and what they did for a living. She paused for a few moments, needing time to reflect on all those years. After a short time, a smile came to her face and she answered proudly, explaining that she'd first married a banker when she was in her early 20s, then a circus ringmaster when in her 40s, later on a preacher when in her 60s, and now in her 80s, a funeral director.
The interviewer looked at her, quite astonished, and asked why she had married four men with such diverse careers.
She smiled and explained, 'I married one for the money, two for the show, three to get ready, and four to go.
