As usual Chuck , great photos.
Last year we did the walking tour of Blackbeards castle and some old homes there. Did you do that or just explore the castle place?
They told us we would have about 35 minutes to explore that place and 10 minutes later the guide said another group was arriving so we needed to move on. I was mad, we just got started looking at all the statues and never got to see the tower they had or gift shop.

It was a good tour but due to the extreme heat that day I was sure glad we had a morning tour.
I did take pictures of a few of the statues.

Kathy

We did the walking tour also. They rushed us through as well. I kinda wandered off to get the pics.

Hi Dawn

Have fun at the zoo today! When we lived out west I tried to take the kids every week. The loved it! Did the storm you were expecting come last night? We have been thinking about you...

It was just Elizabeth, Stephanie and myself. Elizabeth is the sweetest thing since sliced bread! (How old is that! :lmao: ) She is fascinated with the peacocks. She just lights up when she hears them caw, caw. She can imitate their sound. A baby snow leopard was born on June 16th and we got see it and be fed.

It rained but nope no bad weather. Phew!

So it turns out camp rock played on TV here on June 20th and I missed it. Kierra is not happy with me! Hanah Montana's concert is playing on July 26th. She had me write it on the calendar and we went and got the glasses at Walmart for it yesterday.

You need glasses? 3D I assume? I have it on my calendar to watch too!

Pixie doesnt tear up tissues, she eats them:scared:
we have to hide all the waste baskets in cupboards and the one in the bathroom sits behind the shower door until we use the shower. She can open the bathroom door, so we have to hide it.
she also can roll down car windows, open our screen door latch, get up on the dash and grab her own leash to tell you she needs to go out. If i tell greg its dinner time she dashes to the table and jumps in his seat to wait for dinner. She wont touch the food or table, just takes his seat:lmao:
every night he has to tell her to get down and of course he then shares his dinner with both dogs. So I have to cook for 3:goodvibes

Kathy

Well, duh, and you expected something else? :confused3

Hello!

What a busy day! Got home about 2 as I said before really enjoy the zoo!

Busy with business and sewing rest of the afternoon. I've FINALLY finished washing all the towels. :headache: I hope that never happens again!

Favorite movie: I've liked many but if I want to pull out a movie to watch I always choose National Treasure. I haven't gotten 2 yet but I want to.

Favorite any kind of movie: I think Jaime and I need to sit down and watch some. The first movie I ever bought was Dirty Dancing, Harry Potter movies. I still loved how she finished up the last book because then it all made sense!

Kathy, OMG, it just seems if it isn't one thing it's another, doesn't it! If they didn't change it over when they were supposed to I bet they won't be worried about paying for it either.

Well, I've still gotta check the 08 thread. So, I'll check back in this evening. There are some pictures on the 08 thread of Gatlinburg if anyone wants to see.

Okay I have a cute story about Kierra. She is 6.

A few weeks ago she was watching the commericals on one of her Disney movies...she came down stairs all upset. She said she was mad at Disney! I asked her why...and she said she couldn't believe they were releasing all there new movies on blu-ray...why did they choose the color blue? She wanted her movies pink!:goodvibes She wanted me to write and ask them:rotfl:

that is so cute...

NOT FAIR CHUCK!!!!

My internet was down for a few hours and I couldnt get on line:sad2:
we are 97 and climbing still.
I took the pups put just to go potty in the grass by the RV and Minnie went but Pixie turned around and jumped back inside, now thats HOT:rolleyes1

I figure when she starts to wiggle and wimper i will force her out and she will go fast and return just as fast.

No cooking dinner tonight for me, way too hot to even run the microwave, i have 2 kinds of lunch meat, fruit, chips and salsa, that will have to do. Plenty of store bought cookies for dessert, prefer home made but again too hot to cook and i have some ice cream.

Kathy

Dawn,
glad you had a good time today.
The 08 board has gone crazy this afternoon:lmao:
Good thing I went to the potty before reading it because I would have wet my pants a couple of times:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Kathy

Kathy

Hi Brantely:banana::banana:

You mentioned that your family went snorkling. How old are your girls. Michelle would like to take her boys on the next trip but she isn't sure if they will be old enough. They are 6 and 8.

Our 2 youngest were 8 and 11. They had a great time. Our 8 year old had a little trouble. She tried it for a while and did ok, but then just wanted to play on the beach for a while.

Castaway Cay is a great place for snorkeling. It was good for kids too because they have the vests.

Jaime, you know I don't think it has anything to do with age. If they are anything like my boys they've been swimming like fish for years! First time they went formally snorkeling they were 7 and 8 in the Bahamas.

Hi Dawn,
I see your light on tonight.

we hit 98 for our high. They were saying cooling to low 80's the next few days, now they are saying upper 90's through the weekend:scared:

I will check out the 08 before I go to bed, i havnt been there for a few hours, I will make sure i have goen to the bathroom first, just in case:lmao:

Kathy
