I'm trying to catch up. You Nana's did a great job with the pages while I was gone!

There's a story behind this...We lost power again due to a huge storm Wednesday, July 2 pm. Torrential rains. The pool was FULL and inches of water on the grass. At one spot, the water got so deep that it was pouring into the window well by Christian's room. And if it goes in, it has to come out! The boys were out balling (in the rain) and I'm downstairs holding towels up to try and catch as much as possible :confused3 Christian fixed it by building a levy of sorts with bricks. Then came the mopping up the water that got in. Remember we have no electricity. Greg, pretty much reminder me of your water surge! :sad2: I was basically done for the day, legs couldn't do anymore. The boys mopped up with towels virtually every drop! We have a pile of towels 4 foot high and wide! Started washing them now! AND THEN...got up at 4:30 in the dark to go. And the only explanantion that I have is we used the dome lights on the van too much...ready--set--click,click! Not enough battery juice to start the van! We hurried up to wait until a reasonable hour to call Stephanie to come jump us. We got on the road at 7 a.m.

Well, IF you got through all that, you did good! :rotfl2:

Thats terrible Dawn:eek:

good thing the boys were there to help.

kathy

Wait! There is no disclaimer that this isn't Greg! :rolleyes1 Are you and Kathy twins! :lmao:

well I was feeling sorry for you Dawn with all the water problems, until I saw this:rotfl2:
What an insult, you know I wear glasses and my hair is long, not short and wirey like Greg's, plus I am much better looking than him:rotfl2:

Good to have you back again:goodvibes

Kathy

That would be great...Thanks...

We were considering the butterfly farm but I think we would have to get a cab or trolley there...it's by the point.

I think the farm is about 3/4 of a mile from the pier, not sure. I will try to find out when i list the sites to see later.

kathy

Kathy, did you find all the hidden Mickeys? There were a couple that we gave up on. We even asked and they told us and still could not find :confused3

we had one that we couldnt find and after about 30 minutes we found it. Your right though , a couple of them were really hard to find.
At the Polynesian resort they had a chocolate display too with hidden Mickeys . It is much smaller with a volcano which is fun to see. those Mickeys are much easier to find. did you go there? Ihave pictures but they ar eon the othe rcomputer which is packed away in storage right now,

Dawn,
did you see the post where I passed the 10,000 post mark:cool1:

Last month I took the time to figur eout how many posts per day I would need and was worried I wouldn't reach it by the 08 cruise, boy was I wrong:rotfl2: :rotfl2: .

Guess I have a bigger mouth than I thought.:rolleyes1

kathy

Hi Jaime Hi Kathy!

Can you believe that I got through that WHOLE thing! I hate getting behind! But you miss stuff if you don't read it!

It is too quiet around here but I've got sooo much to keep me busy. When I have time to clean maybe it will stay clean for a little while! :rotfl2: I miss them terribly already! Leaving all my friends in Tennessee and then leaving the boys in Ohio was kindda hard all at once. I was almost crying when I left :sad1: I'm not an alone person but I have plenty to keep me busy during the day...

I'm going to run to the post office and mail some extenders. I'll be back. My butt is getting sore!
