That's alot of sugar!:goodvibes

here is the complete display. It was really neat to see. see if you can see some of the mickeys

Wow Kathy that's beautiful...I would have liked to seen it. We skip Chef Mickey's last trip...instead we did a few of the Grand Gathering since there was 8 of us. The GG's are great...by far the best character breakfast we have been too and the Illuminations dinner was nice especially the private viewing area with desserts.

Last year we went at the same time and the year before that
and I believe both years the ship was decorated, I know last year it was for sure. But they did have to finish up the gingerbread house. It was done by day 2 of the cruise.

we stopped and watched them some and it smelled soooo good!!

we also signed up to decorate gingerbread houses as an activity on board.
ask the first day as guest services desk if they are doing this and if you can sign up for a time. sometimes you can sign up early before it fills up.

They give you all you need. You can take it back to the room and eat it or donate it to the crew but you cant take it off the ship. It really is a fun project to do.

CC was completely decorated to the extent for what they do. Mostly the dock area and the tram. One time we had carolers as we got off the ship singing by the post office which was really nice. I got it on the cam corder.

One year we did a 3 day cruise the first week of December and they even had santa Goofy riding a Ski Doo around the water area.

kathy

Goofy must love water sports:thumbsup2 We made one trip to the MK when I was a child and that is what I remember the most...on the way over on the ferry Goofy past by on Waterski.

I keep forgetting to ask... since we are sailing the week after Thanksgiving, is the ship decorated for Christmas?

Chuck :goofy:

The best part was the tree lighting the first night...to get the full effect it is best to be in the lobby close to the tree. Everything was decorated even port. In the halls all week you will here different Christmas songs playing...it was a great way to start the Holidays.

Here are some pictures...

I can but hope but I have a really long path ahead need to lose approx ten stone but I am going to cut it down into bite size chunks.

Yes, it is a long haul, but the results will be well worth it. I lost 90 pounds(thats about 6.5 stone) 6 years ago and have kept it off. It took me a little over a year. I probably lost it too fast at the time, but I was also going to the gym 6 days a week.

I have found that weight watchers has been helping me stay on track to keep the weight off. I have learned to be very creative and still eat very well.

We will cheer you on. I won't post any more food pics....:thumbsup2

morning everyone,
I use to be heavy too.
I lost 105 pounds 25 years ago, and it all came off in about 8 weeks:scared:
it wasnt by choice, I got Cancer.
So I have had the opposite problem now to gain back some of the weight and keep it on.
In 25 years I have gained back about 40 pounds. most of that in the last 10 years.
I never would of dreamed i would have trouble maintaining my weight I was big my entire life.
This is a crazy world isnt it;)

Congrats to all of you for loosing some weight, dieting is so hard.
I believe loosing weight is as hard as quitting smoking for most people.

Chuck,
weight watchers are awesome!! Its not a diet, its just eating right.
Bob on the 08 cruise has lost a lot of weight using them the past few months and he looks great!

Kathy

Morning Kathy!

Wow, 9 kids!! I don't even want to imagine that?!

I'd have to buy a mini-bus to haul everyone around?!

Looks like you'll get to take the top unchallenged today. We had a storm come through last night and topple trees into the canal, so I've been up since about 4am turning down water so we don't flood until we can get them cleared out! :scared1:

I just stopped by the hosue for some breakfast and then I'm gone again.

I know my wife has something planned for my birthday tomorrow, so I need to get the system back online ASAP!! :thumbsup2

Have a great day everyone! :woohoo:
