Ok so here are some pics of our trip to Greece.

We went to Rhodes which is a tiny island not as small as Malta though. All of the people we met were very friendly and we had a lovely time.

We were there for a week and just chilled by the pool for most of it entirely different than our disney holidays are and they used to be bargains but with the Euro being so poor against the pound its getting cheaper to come to the US.

Try to ignore my husbands evil look in this one.

Thanks for all the nice comments not sure what we were looking at in the pic and yes there were rose petals and bubbles instead of confetti.

Kathy I hope your headache goes I suffer a lot which is why I want to stock up on Tylenol when I am over as that really helps.


A litre of wine you say oh go on then we are on holiday.

The very pretty walled city of Rhodes it had a special Jewish quarter where jewllery was made and money lending happened in ancient greek times.
In the town there used to stand one of the seven wonders of the world the collosus but we didnt get to see it and only the foot remains.

The pool it was small but very welcome as the temperatures were reaching over 107 Degrees Farenheit or 42 degrees celsius I can never remember who uses what.

Good Morning Nanas! Waking up to a cool but sunny morning. Should be a beautiful spring day temps reaching about 70 today. Guitar, soccer and baseball tonight.

Dawn, I love the pirate party!! I wonder how much longer they will keep it going before they change it to a different theme. They use to have one called Tropicalifragislistic tropical party.

well I tried to post photos but my service is so slow it is rediculious, in 8 minutes it still was loading so I will wait and try again later.

we are cool and sprinkles but tomorrow is up around 68 then in the 90's for a couple of days, then back down to the 50's. It just cant make up its mind.

off to talk to the vet about appointment for dogs boosters, then to visit mom for a few mintues.

I'm thinking they'll keep the pirate theme going for a while. It's just so perfect. I like it because it's something for the boys since the girls have all the princess stuff, and pirates are a little more "boy". Plus I heard there was probably going to be another movie because Johnny Depp was willing to do another.

Is anyone else looking forward to seeing the new Indiana Jones movie and the new Narnia movie? I want to see both, which should be quite a feat because we don't go to movies very often!!

we want to see both of those movies
, but it will be awhile because we cant leave the dogs alone in this motorhome and we dont have a dog sitter right now. we would like to go together but may have to go separate to see them.

Kathy it's funny you say that because I was actually thinking today "maybe I'll just go to a matinee by myself to Chronicles of Narnia... that way we don't have to pay for sitter.

I've been a big Narnia fan since I was a little girl.

I have never seen the first Narnia film not sure if I want to it looks kinda annoying.

I wanna see the Indiana Jones though they have just be re running those on the telly.

My husband got a new job yesterday I am so pleased and proud of him.

He is currently a contractor which means he does not get holiday pay or anything but he will be a permenant person in his new job and it sounds far more interesting.

it is suppose to be seventy four today. then the 90's for 4 days,then cool again.
my # seven key doesnt work most of the time now

Today i am washing the bedding and towels, then need to take dogs late this afternoon for shots and check ups. Minnie is always off for 2 weeks after shots. so it may get interesting around here soon.

Also, our house is suppose to close today, I pray it does! Plus today I have to call several RV places near Eugene today so we can go check them out tomorrow near where Greg will be working.Lets see, oh we need to bathe the dogs too.
Plus I need a few groceries, so it will be a busy day today.

Kathy, I bet going to the grocery store all the time, is getting old fast! I hate it once a week!

The rain we are getting is a nice rain. Smooth and steady--a good soaker. It looks like the grass seed is finally taking hold.

Going with Stephanie to take Elizabeth to the doctor. Check for ear infection or is just the teeth trying to come in? We are going to do some errands on that side of town while we are there. Can you believe $4 gallon of gas!!!

thanks for the pixie dust, will let you know when it finally happens

Gas here is $3.65 still but is creeping up 5 to 9 cents a day the past week, diesel is almost $5 a gallon and that is what the motorhome uses

we fill it everytime we drive it anywhere, which we dont do unless we have to, due to the price of gas.

Many are already having to cut way back on things just so they can afford to drive to work, that is BAD!!! lets see, do I eat this week or fill the tank with gas????
