If I wasn't so tired, I'd retaliate! As it is, it will have to wait until tomorrow. Good night moon! Good night Nanas!

Let's see... let's talk Cozumel as far as excursions. I've been there once. But this time we'll have little ones. So I'm thinking we'll just want to go to the beach. We went to Chanakaab last time, but that isn't such a good beach for little ones because it's very rocky. So I'm thinking I'd like to try Paradise beach. I have not yet looked at the excursions that Disney offers.

Thanks for bringing that up Kathy, maybe I'll look just to dream. I, like you, are in a bit of a downturn financially so that will be good motivation to keep me working!:thumbsup2

The only place I haven't been on this itinerary is Key West.

I've been to Grand Cayman twice. I'm seriously thinking of staying on the ship there. Maybe Chris and Alex could do an excursion, or he could even do one by himself that day (he'd LOVE that chance!!)

If anyone sees any news about the new ships let me know. I don't have time to check the boards like I used to and I'm anxious to hear what the new ships and new itineraries will be.;)

Hi Melanie!
We did Paradise Beach on our first DCL which was a western. It was the best day of our cruise - beating even (gasp) Castaway Cay!

Weather report for today. High near 80, it's cloudy right now, supposed to clear up later, but then a cold front and thunderstorms come in tonight.

I am meeting an ex-coworker/good friend for lunch over in Omaha today. I haven't seen her since I quit. Should be fun!

Hi Jeff!!
How are you? So Disney actually offers an excursion there? That would be perfect I think!

We're doing pretty well Melanie. I hope you folks are as well. There was NOT a DCL excursion. We simply jumped a cab and went there for the day. It really was great. Good food, cheap beer, nice beach, incredible service. Mina and Elizabeth took Kayaks out, we jumped on the trampoline and tried to climb the iceberg and floated around on rafts. it was just great. There are rocks there as well but you just have to use the "right side" of the beach -- I think I remember that right -- but if it's the left just adjust accordingly. :rotfl: I read somewhere that they were also buidling a swimming pool at Paradise Beach but I haven't been paying close attention since we are now trying to learn all about the Pacific Mexican ports for our DCL this summer.

Hey - I saw that your team (Iowa, right?) is on Pitt's schedule the next couple of years in football.

Really? Iowa plays Pitt huh? Well... that will be fun! I have no idea how good we'll be this year. Last year was awful!:sad2:

I'll be interested in hearing about your summer cruise. I've always been a little leary of that itinerary in the WINTER because I heard that it's colder. But summer would probably be great.

Maybe you could do a small trip report?

Well.. I have to go... we have a client coming in at 9:30 to pick up a logo we designed for them.

Say hi to Mina for me!!!
