:lmao: :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl: I'm no competition for you today, am I! Skylar was out the door going to soccer at 7:30 this morning. Christian and I left at 8. Went to some garage sales until 12. Christian's game was at 1. He played 1st, 3rd and 2nd bases today. Hit one good one but got out at first. Walked the second time at bat and made it to home. Got home from there and took Skylar to get his honors project material at Michael's. Phew, I'm tired. Pretty nice day altogether. Windy. Temp was about 60 today. Cold this morning though.

Evening all!

Hi Michelle! Tell us a little more about yourself and your family! What do you enjoy doing the most! Other than my grandchildren, I have to say traveling!

Wow I really have to work on checking this board more! I had to read through 5-6 pages and I don't have one top of the page post :sad2:

So us in a nutshell - I'm a pharmacist and DH is a police officer (which is why I'm on the 'puter on a Sat nite! :goodvibes ). DD is 11 and already smarter than I am - if I can't answer her questions now what am I going to when she gets into high school! She's a swimmer currently and seems to like it. DS is 6 and is just losing his cuddliness (is that even a word?) makes me sad and proud of him at the same time. Weird but true. He plays basketball like his daddy and football. Wanted to play baseball this year but I just could seem to get him signed up....;) . Who has time for hobbies? We're reclaiming our yard which is painful for me I don't have that grow things gene. Now that DS is a little older hope to start biking together. Currently redoing kids rooms - actually doing them since we've been here for 3 1/2 years and hadn't done much. Ummm - we have 2 dogs - boxers - Faith and Bosco. The kids and I are total disney nuts - DH not so much. Loved the cruise though so we're doing another. OK done talking about us.:thumbsup2

Mel - you're sons are adorable! Squish them often - the time will come when they won't let you!

Kathy - still trying to catch up and keep everyone straight - your hubby is looking for a job and who else- your son or sil? Good luck to all! And wow your gas is 20 cents more than ours - Yikes!:scared1:

Dawn - how old are your kids? I need a playbook!:rotfl:

Cruise excursions - still not sure. DD and I would love to do the one with the ruins and the zip lines! But DS won't be old enough. Plenty of time to plan.

The smart thing to do would have been to post 6 messages with all this info maybe then I'd get a top of the page!;)

'Nite all!

Hi Michelle,
good to learn a bit about you.
dont worry to much about keeping us straight because as soon as we get back from the November 08 cruise Shell (woogal) will make up a cruise mates list for all of us and she will update as new people join in.

It will have a photo if you submit one, your room number,(OPT), dining rotation, your names and where your from and any special event syou may be celebrating on board.
That way we all get to know each other better.

I am easy to remember, i have the biggest and loudest mouth once you get me started talking:rotfl2:
Plus I am the keeper of the WHIP!! Which means when you dont post often enough I get to threaten you with the WHIP.;) Check my signature for the proof. Just ask Dawn, she will tell you how mean I can get!!!

I have 4 kids and 4 grandkids as my name indicates but now everyone is grown so it is just the 2 of us on the cruise, although we have taken family many times.
It is my husband and 2 adult sons who are looking for work. Greg and Peter both have interivews on monday.:thumbsup2

we took the dogs and went to the beach for the day again and it was beautiful 69 degrees and again NO wind. we let them run and play for almost 2 hours straight, they are pooped out tonight.
wasnt more than a dozen people on this beach today, 3 other dogs and 6 surfers. It is a northern beach so not as popular, we love it there because it is never crowded.

I am really tired myself, so will sign off for now.

Dawn sounds like sports are in full swing at your house, good for them. so much better than sitting around all the time.

Kathy

Can't wait for that list! I may have to print it out and study it! :lmao:

So we are having some excitement - the kids found 2 baby opossums in our recycling bin late yesterday afternoon! Very cute! Tried to just leave them thinking mom was out getting some grub but still no sign of her this morning. I think the little critters are too small to get out of the bin themselves. Gave them some leftover cat food and water then read on a rescue website not to feed them - whoops! So took that away (they must be irritated!) Trying to patiently wait for a call back from the Wildlife rescue hotline.......:rolleyes1

We'll let you know how our walk on the wildside goes......

Michelle,So glad to see your post! I am retired and my two grandsons Skylar 12 and Christian 11 live me. They are also my travel buddies! I do make fish extenders on the side to help pay for my traveling! :goodvibes I have two daughters Stephanie and Sarah. Stephanie is 32 and the mother of Elizabeth (whom you'll hear me talk about alot!) and Sarah 29 mother of the boys. My son Adam died in 2005 he would have been 27.

Yes, Kathy, between sports and guitar. They keep me jumping, what fun! I love going to their games!

I think I'll have Christian mow the lawn today. Then I'll throw down some grass seed in the bare spots. The little cooler days at the beginning of this week should be a good start!

Got to go check out '08 board. Check back later.

morning ladies,

just had aminute to say hello before to go to my moms for a few minutes.

we had a great day on the beach yesterday, dogs loved to run and play on the sand. Nobody there but us and 6 surfers and 2 other people with their dogs. Love the northern coast, never anybody there this time of the year.

back soon,

kathy

well had a good visit with my mom, the sun finally came out and warmed us up a bit today, very nice.

Dawn, on 08 thread you asked about the ruins Tulum? spelling?

we did them also and it was a ton of walking and there was uneven ground too and there was one large riun that if you wanted to you could climb to the top, but it was voluntary. Greg did it, but not me. It was scary looking stone steps. Plus you stood in one place for long periods of time to hear the guide tell you all about the history. it was very buggy, thank goodness I took the bug spray.

it is an awesome place to see but I dont think you could walk it with your knees. I cant remember exactly but I think we alked and stood for about 3 hours, the rest of the time was going to and from.

catch everyone tomorrow,

kathy
