we were going to try and go to a matinee next saturday while the girls are at the sitter, but we may not find one to see either

we need to get suitcases and some clothes for the trip too. I need to make alist before next saturday



well we are going to look at getting a dish and service set up today for our TV.
we have to have something before winter maroons us in this RV.



we are cold too, suppose to have a bit of rain but so far no signs of it.
Monday is suppose to POUR all day

Sooooo....

I finally paid the $$ and got the boys signed up for this cruise.

And I have to be honest. I almost bailed on it....

I was thinking of switching to January 2010 because that is a better time of year for us to be gone. But when I priced it it was going to be $500 more.

And THEN I priced a 8 day Carnival cruise for January 2010 that would be $1000 cheaper than this one... and it goes to Panama and Costa Rica which are both places we have never been. And was really tempted. Because it's on a brand new ship even.

BUT... with the age our kids are at... Disney just make so much more sense. So I'm hanging tight. Now I just have to pay the rest of it off. I don't know if we'll be able to afford another Disney cruise after this one though!

When are you thinking of doing Alaska Greg? That's another we'd like to do!

Only problem for us is summer is our "busy time." We could maybe do a June Alaska cruise though. I figure we need to wait a couple more years if we want to bring the kids. Which... we don't really have anyone to leave them with for that length of time so... we will be...

I don't like to travel during the summer because of the pool. Everytime I leave it for more than a few days I have problems with algae the rest of the summer. I need to go before I open it or close it early. As best I can figure it was made in 1989 so the circulating technology is not what it is today--if we swim in it every day, I have no problems.

Who knows what we'll do in between but the big bucks I'm going to save for the new Disney resort in Hawaii!

We leave on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving too! But we'll be staying in Valdosta GA that night! On Thursday, Kim, Jacob and Chris should be at the All-Star about the same time we are. Can't wait to bask in the sun around the pool, go to Downtown Disney a little bit before dinner at the Rain Forest Cafe where we have ressies at 5. I want to leave from there to the monorail resorts to see the decorations and MK's fireworks! Friday we'll take it a little slow so we can enjoy the resort before going back to Downtown Disney to meet Wendy and Christine and family to eat at the T-Rex restaurant at 11. We'll aim for the Radisson about 5 p.m. So excited just talking about it!

We're going back to Hawaii also, just not sure when?

I want to see what the new Disney resort looks like when its done before we decide to stay there.

We love Marriott's Ko Olina resort which will be right next door to the new Disney resort, but we can stay at the marriott for free.

We're getting really excited for this vacation to. We arrive at the Orlando airport about 4:30pm Thanksgiving Day and then we'll drive to Horizon's by Marriott next to SeaWorld where we'll stay until Saturday morning.

Horizon's has an awesome pool and spray park for kids.

Friday we have reservation for Discovery Cove, so we'll be there from about 8:30am until 6pm. With our reservation to Discover Cove they gave us tickets to SeaWorld that are good for 14 consecutive days.

We're going to have one wild ride when we get back from the cruise....we have 7 day park hopper tickets for WDW and 7 day tickets to Universal Orlando & Islands of Adventure plus 14 day tickets to SeaWorld!

I think we'll need a vacation from our vacation!!

The Rolls Royce limo we hired is suppose to pick us up at 9:30am Saturday morning to take us to the ship!

Ya, June is a better month for us also, but I've heard the best time to go is in July or August.

Sipahh and unistraw are the trademarks on the boxes.
One is Oreo for the cookie one,
I find them in drug stores only for some reason

all 3 kinds say Spiahh on them at the top.

If you cant find them, I am happy to buy some and mail them to you if you pay for them and postage. They cost $2 for a box of 8.

One was strawberry
one was oreo cookie flavor
chocolate chip cookie.

usually there is a plain chocolate too.

Thanks Kathy. We don't have Walgreens, but Dad will be home in a couple of weeks so I'll ask him to look at Walgreen's...he called last night and wanted to know if the girls like the Montana girl because she is on everything down there He wants to bring them back some treats that we can't find here.

I went to the web site and then clicked on sip ahh and then there is alocator to see if they sell it near you.
Plus there is alink to buy it on line but it was more expensive than I paid.

I noticed they also had banana flavor.

If you look in a store I usually find them in some obscure place like the end of the isle, sometimes near the milk or cookies or candy.
I have also found them near the magazines and gum by the check out counter. So you may need to ask for them.


It listed Albertsons for carrying them too but you probably dont have Albertsons there.
Let me know if you cant find them, I am happy to send some to you


The strange thing is I had them when I was akid, then never found them while my kids were growing up, but now I found them for my grandkids.

well my new neighbor must be staying for awhile. They just delivered him a picnic table. Like hes really gonna use it in the winter.

Plus he has 2 big beautiful dogs. both males. One is a light golden color like pixie the other is a rusty brown color. Very nice looking dogs. Lots of warm fur, dont know what kind they are.

My girls may have a new boyfriend to play with

No lady in sight over at his place.
