hope you all ok I have been baking this morning, wholemeal blueberry muffins which smell delish lol.

You are very lucky not to know...it is horrible! It is a infection on the throat...makes it hard to swallow...

It must be so hard for Holly because she is to young to understand why she isn't feeling well Greg how is she today?

Good Morning Lisa and Jaime!

Well at it this morning. I have changed all the sheets and cleaned 3 of the rooms, laundry, picking up, etc! I went and got Elizabeth this morning. The boys and she did not get to see much of each other with school and all!

Just getting stuff done today. Finishing up a Cars extender! Tomorrow starts library for Elizabeth.

I'll be around, check back in a while.

Finally got some sleep last night.

Holly is doing better.....didn't have to give her any tylenol last night, so the antibiotic must be working.

It rained her most all day yesterday and today its overcast and looks like it could rain again!!

Its been such a dry summer.....I think this is the first really rain we've received for a couple of months.

thought I would start us off with a joke this morning





Through the pitch-black night, the captain sees a light dead ahead on a collision course with his ship. He sends a signal: “Change your course 10 degree east.”

The light signals back: “Change yours, 10 degrees west.”

Angry, the captain sends: “I’m a navy captain! Change your course, sir!”

“I’m a seaman, second class,” comes the reply. “Change your course, sir.”

Now the captain is furious. “I’m a battleship! I’m not changing course!”

There is one last reply. “I’m a lighthouse. Your call.”

your right Greg is losing his touch lately He is leaving way to many tops for the ladies.
Guess he is just getting too old to remember things anymore

I agree wtih Dawn, be grateful you dont know what strep is, it is horrible and sooooooo painful. many adults will be in bed for a week with it. They seem to take longer to get over it than kids do.

Greg, we are bone dry too. everything is brown and ugly unless its a watered lawn around here.
Lots of forest fires too. It is that way every September where I am.
By now we are usually wet and cold but even though its cloudy, we are still in the 70's but no rain in site.

I know we need it desperately , how ever I sure dont want it to start. Living in this RV is will be really easy to have this place smelling like wet dogs when the rain comes. It is too windy to have the awning up which means wet paws and shoes coming inside everyday.
I need to put an inside rug at the top of the steps and a place to leave shoes and change to slippers I guess. Of course that wont help with the paws

Maybe we just call it throat infection over here. I suffer with those badly it is linked to have my tonsils out too young and then I had glandular fever and was in the hospital as a teen with it.

Glad Holly is getting better
