Where was it found???

Hi all,

just doing a quick check in before Greg needs the computer to check his mail.
Been along day today.

Poor Minnie tried to jump on our bed last night and with her short legs and our high bed she fell backwards and landed on her head and also hurt her back left foot. Good thing she has a hard head.
I know her head and foot hurt all last night and when she plays todayyou can see she still hurts some.

we use to have a case of canned food there she could step on and jump onto the bed.
She saw Pixie up there and wanted to join her.

My poor baby, she is always getting hurt. She just isnt real strong in her legs. Vet says it may be due to ehr early abuse. we didnt do the x-rays to see if they had been fractured or broken before. I couldnt bear knowing if they had hit her that hard.

So she is a cuddle bug this evening with me. She always does that when she isnt feeling well.

well off to do dishes and let Greg use HIS computer:lmao:

I will try and check back once more before bedtime.
kathy
How is she today?

Just dropping by to say good night.

Greg,
I have read many times that most pediatricians say younger kids dont get seasick normally because their inner ears arnt fully developed.
Usually when they get ill its due to the change of diet and excitement or hearing people talking about getting seasick. if they think they will get sick, they will.:sad2:

Our grandkids never got seasick, but their dad sure did:lmao: But he loaded with dramamine and was ok after that. But we did have 30 foot seas that trip.

I always bring some meds but we have never needed them, thank goodness.:cloud9:

well catch everyone in the morning,

kathy

Yup that's what I thought too...but Alicia was only three...and it was the first day...so not sure why:confused3 but she sure got sick...at that point she was the only one and I had to get med's of other nana's because I only had the braclets and they don't help alot if you get seasick first...our friends two ds never got sick at all though...I guess it depends on the child...I have since found out though Alicia has fluid in her inner ear and may need tubes...so maybe that had something to do with it...

Good Morning Greg, Jaime, and Kathy! Anyone else lurking out there--good morning to you too!

It's Friday, it's Friday! Whoo-hoo! :woohoo:

Got the laundry in and will hang out before leaving for the zoo! I'll be back later.

Have a great day at the zoo!!! I am doing laundry today...way to much off it!

Good morning Nana's!!

Hi Dawn! I thought the cruise doctor had a "shot" they could give people who did not respond to the pills?

Hi Kathy
Hi Jaime

They doctor's hours never seemed to be the sames as when Alicia needed to see him...they don't recommend given children any med's anyway.

Hi Jaime,

I remmeber your poor girls had a terrible time.
Having too much fluid can make things off for kids. One of my sons had that too. One Dr wanted to do the tubes, the other said wait for a bit, they usually will drain on their own without surgery. He was off balance, coulndt learn to crawl right or walk for along time due to his ears, but we decided to wait it out and they did drain out just fine, but it took almost 2 years:sad2:

I do know Doctors also go by average when they give advice, every kid is different. Hope yours do much better the next time:goodvibes

Minnie is better today but when she runs or leaps she still wont put alot of weight on her back left foot, so I know its still sore.
She will play hard then act like she doesnt feel good sometimes.
I think she feels good then plays and it gives her a headache from landing on her head.

She wants to snuggle, ears back and head down. I rub her, she rests or sleeps for an hour then she is fine again. She is doing better today than yesterday.
She is snuggled up by me on my chair covered with her blanket on her snoozing.

Hope someone solves the clues soon, of course I want it to be you:goodvibes

It probably wont be long now since they gave all the clues at once for people.

Keep us posted:thumbsup2

Dawn,
you know theres never too many bananas around here:lmao:
Although I think I need new glasses after counting all of these crazy things:rotfl2:

Kathy

Good afternoon everyone,

I just finished helping drive people crazy on the 08 board:lmao: :lmao:

I used a couple dozen jokes to push us to the next thread:rolleyes1

They pleaded, begged and threatened me, but I kept on going with the jokes until we hit page 250:thumbsup2

Now I am letting them destress before I do anymore jokes.

I am now complaining to them because of the lack of bananas posted. It was the lowest of any of the first 6 threads:sad2:
I cant let that happen.

later,

kathy

Hi everyone,

It is my birthday today.

We went down to the local seafront today and played on the arcades and then had lunch.

I got lots of lovely presents.
I also had a lovely day at the zoo yesterday.
They have a little section where tiny monkeys run free and one was nearly on my foot which was cool.

Also we saw some rhinos 'getting friendly' if you know what i was mean and the giraffes wandered over for a look lol.

I am really starting to think we scared off all the men.

Greg shows but everyone else is gone:confused3

Darrell?
Chuck?
Mark?
Brantley?

We need you guys to say hello :rolleyes1
I am going to be sending out PM's soon if we dont hear from you guys.
;)
