Okay so we are back from the doctor...thank you everyone for your prayers:hug:

We actually ended up seeing a different doctor then we were suspose too but Glen actually read about the doctor we did end up seeing online...he had done some pretty big cases and has a very good name for himself. The good news is the cyst is the most common kind they see on the brain and is located in the best place. It is however very rare for these type of cyst to rupture...he has only seen three other cases in his long career. He is actually writing a paper on those cases now. He figures it ruptured when I brought her to the ER in May. That makes me very upset since the doctor in the ER at the time basically asked her a whole bunch of questions about her home life and life at school...told me that it was nothing to worry about...kids get headaches all the time and sent us home:mad: Anyway everything does happen for a reason and I truely believe that...if she would have had a CT scan that day she would have gotten emergancy surgery to remove the fluid from the brain...by some mircle her body over a 2 month period drained the extra fluid on it's own and repaired itself...this is a blessing and I got the impression that this is a really big deal. The cyst however is still there and we have have to have more testing done to see how we can prevent it from rupturing in the future...I have no idea why it ruptured in the first place...she never had any type of head injury which is what caused cyst to ruputure in the other cases. We have a MRI schedule for tomorrow and a EEG in two weeks...

Jaimie,
looks like it really was a good day for her. after you get the test results back you should have a plan of action :thumbsup2
I am thankful her tests are the painless kind. I have had those before and there is NO pain involved.
Please keep us posted.

Good thing I've got over a year to catch up! :rotfl2:

A year to catch up, I don't think so, more like a lifetime mister:lmao:

Greg , great pictures.

The kids play house looks larger than my first house:lmao:
WOW, I would have loved something like that when I was a kid.
Looks like they have more room than my RV?

Maybe I should ask your kids how much to rent to for awhile? my pups would love all those kids and a large yard to play in:goodvibes

Cool Picture...you know I never saw him on the cruise...

Did you ride the tram or walk to the beach?

You have to walk in to see him. He is off to the left in the sand so when you have your photo taken with him the Flying Dutchman is behind you, it is a really cool picture.
He is out for 30 minutes twice and is listed in the Navigator.
He lines up fast , but it moves quickly.

also on pirate night he is out once for early and once for late diners by the WD theater for photos. we had to miss dessert to get there 15 minutes early but boy I was glad we did the line got long really fast.
But it moved really fast.

I'm glad it's painless too...and no needles involved which is a big bonus for her...she hates needles so much! Alicia has been great with the whole doctor thing too which is a big help...didn't know how she would take Kierra getting all these test done...she gets very worried about her big sister...

The doctor mentioned putting in a shunt?? to help it continously drain...but the test will tell us for sure...

Shunts are very common now days. I know someone who had one put in for drainage, worked great. That did have some discomfort like any surgery has, but there are medicines to help. My oldest had something similar when her appendex burst on her. She was just going into the surgery room when it started to go so some poison got into her system so she had to drain poison for 14 days in the hospital with a drainage tube out of her lower stomach.

same idea as a shunt, just different part of the body, but it worked and saved her life.
