I've lived here in this house 16 years. Only one other time before this year do I remember it flowing into the basement as it has this year. In July and this weekend. It is raining so much that the window wells are filling up! That's about 2 foot of water! I hate to close them with a cover because we open the windows quite often and let in the fresh air. Kathy, ask Greg if a cover over the window well would solve the problem or would it have to go somewhere and it is just going to the point of least resistance? It doesn't seem to be coming in anywhere else. The winter cover for the pool is completely full it's going to have to overflow pretty soon if it continues!

I bet she's excited. But how is mom feeling excited or trepidation maybe a little of both?

Nope, never have had rutabaga. Both the boys rarely eat potatoes. Skylar will eat some but Christian maybe only a couple fries maybe--rarely does he eat them!

I think I was as excited for her when she got the postcard as she was. I felt so bad for her the past two weeks...she was really missing Kierra and she really needs to make her own friends.

We hardly eat potatos either...only when I make cooked dinner like today...

Yes...it was a lot of fun...Kierra started swimming around with no floats at all She seems to be almost back to the way she was before everything happened. I am so excited!!!!

It has been very quiet on this board lately...I think everyoneis just so excited about the 08 sailing they are forgetting about us!

Hello Nana's!!

Just popping online really fast to say Hi!!

Been a really busy weekend for me.

The end of the irrigation season is almost here and I've spent the past few days lowering the amount of water coming into the canal system.

We don't technically shut off the canal's until about the 3rd week of October, but we still need to leave water in the system for cattle use and those that still want to water their pastures and lawns.....(like me!!)

Greg said if you could take some pictures of your house from different angles and from 25 or 30 feet back so he can see the contour of the land and of the window wells, up closer. That will help him to tell you what is happening and the best course of action to help the leaking.

Then after he looks at them he will talk with you on the phone about it ok?

Great job posting people. I had so much to do today I just didnt get back like I wanted to.

I have 2 sore feet tonight and swollen ankles I hate that when it happens.

we have 2 new hosts as well as our old ones.
He is blind and has a seeing eye dog. She is doing administrative stuff and I guess he is too.

Our host who is ill be be out for quite some time I guess. He looks aweful. He is in horrible pain and the prescriptions arnt helping. People are walking his dogs for him and helping when they can. He has to wait a whole month to get into apain clinic in Eugene.

So another monthly renter is filling in for him right now. I feel terrible for him, but not sure what to do to help.
I cant knock on his door, he cant hardly get up to go to the door.

I think I will make something to eat and have his friend take it to him.

well we are going to put on amovie.

I will be back after that.

todays video was 2002 ans 2003 cruises. I think w edid videos movies of 8 cruises.

we love watching them, but it takes so much time to do them it takes away from some of the fun of the cruise, so now we only do it once in awhile.

I agree. When I take video, I totally miss out on the live stuff. I have to watch it on video to see it! I'm not a very good picture taker either because of that!
