Hello everyone.

Well only about 75 days to go before we're cruising with the mouse on the 08 trip!!

I think tonight at midnight is the night I can make reservation........I guess I'll stay up and try it just so I can have it tell me that Palo's is full!!

I guess I'll be off and on till after midnight tonight....

To the twerp who send me the WAKE UP AND POST TEXT this morning.
i just now saw it at 9 p.m. tonight

By the time you sent me the message, I was up, laundry washing made waffles for break fast, did the dishes and had driven 25 minutes to wal mart and was shopping already.

Wake up?? I think not

I have NO idea how to send a text or retrieve one. I am stuck in the 60's.
Greg showed me how to get to read it tonight.
If your gonna wake me up, you gotta do better than 8:19 a.m.

Just remember Greg has to work and he wont appreciate it if you do what your thinking, calling at 5 a.m. The phone charges in the bedroom right next to his head.

Well, I made our Palo reservations tonight. I was able to get two of them....one for Monday and the other for Friday.

So today is our big day! I have to go to the liabrary in a little bit and try to get Alicia a spot in the reading program...they fill up fast. Than this afternoon she has preschool...still not sure on a the details and how it will work with me having to pick Kierra up after school.

We are waking up to sunny skies this morning--thank goodness. Streets and stores are flooded. A whole section near downtown Kalamazoo is impassable. Grand total for Kalamazoo is 10.2 inches. I think everyone had flooding problems. We just aren't meant to have that much rain so fast. We aren't built on stilts! Christian's room got the wettest but we caught it fast and fans are on it now to finish drying it! Just one other spot in the backroom near where the sewer goes out is a weak area for leakage. Otherwise, we weathered ok. Haven't gone out to the pool and storage area yet, kindda scared to

I'm glad I can go fairly slow this morning because all the work yesterday, my legs are screaming!

I've got a fan on Skylar's soccer shoes too! They need to be dry by tonight!

You'll have a busy day today Jaime! Stephanie needs to sign Elizabeth up for library today too!

Tell Alicia to have a great day at school! How exciting!

Greg, How did you snag those ressies? You have the best luck! When I checked a couple weeks ago there was ressies for 1 - 2 people too.

Howdy everyone,
well I finally got on line.

Last night when I got up I must of twisted wrong or something because my back on the right side hurt pretty badly. Didnt sleep very well. Today is a bit better but wont be doing much of anything for a couple of days so it can heal up quickly.

we are suppose to hit 96 today
But all morning i have been sitting here with a lap robe on my legs and a sweatshirt draped over my shoulders. I dont know which is worse, too cold or too hot? I guess which ever it is at the moment.

looks like we wont be driving to Florida for awhile yet.
Just so many things are happening here lately, so we booked airfare to fly out for the cruise. I am always soooo scared when I fly. I will be a wreck by the time we get to Florida Since the airlines have done so much cut backs it looks like it will take us 12 hours instead of 7 to get there due to layovers. So we cancelled the Radisson and now are staying at the Hyatt the night before.
we will be so tired and if we went to the Radisson, it would be midnight before we got there. we would be too tired to enjoy the cruise.
Just to help make up for missing the fun at the Radisson we book the cruise bus to take us to and from the port. I have always wanted to ride it at least once and so we are.

we have a portable DVD player we take to help keep my mind off of where I am, but its only good for about 3 hours, which means 1 1/2 movies usually. so it will be along plane ride fo rme. maybe at the layover I can find aplug in to charge it up a bit. Dont want to put out the big bucks for a 2nd battery for 1 trip.

so it looks like we will be having to winterize the motorhome, buy an extra electic heater and buy some warmer clothes to wear.

Hopefully the airlines will play a movie. Most dont anymore.

Now I am desperately looking for the best place to leave my dogs here.
I still have a reservation n Florida for them and I wont cancel it until Nov 1st, just in case things change, but for now it looks like February unless a good job comes along there for greg, then we will go in a heart beat.

Kathy, which airline are you flying? Allot of them have power ports that you can plug in laptops and DVD players......we do it all the time.

You can go to www.seatguru.com and see if your aircraft has power ports where your sitting.

Wow....a 12 hour flight!!

And I thought our 6 hour flight was going to be long???!!!!

Wise decision about staying at the airport...a long flight is tough! Did that last year...we left home at 10:30am our time and got to Orlando 1:30am our time...were were going to stay at the Hyatt but we ended up staying by the airport at the Wingate...friends recommended it...it cost $50 and included free transporation to and from the airport and a good free breakfast...they had hot and cold breakfast food and fresh fruit...we talk to a family there who was also cruising they were on there way back to the airport to catch the bus to port.

Not 100% sure if this is on all planes now but on the plane ride home our plane had outlets which was great! Maybe you could take a good book or some sleeping med's to knock you out Do you have many stops? I hate landing!!!

Gas prices went crazy here today up 11cents...

Still hoping a good job comes along for Greg so you can return sooner...

Greg, actual airtime is only 7 1/2 hours, but there are long layovers.

Delta is what was booked i believe? Greg always handles that, I hate flying so much I just ignore it until I have to get on the plane.

I know we really wanted to go there too.
Hopefuly you will still be able to go, I know the boys would love it.

I will send you the directions if you want. its just 10 minutes from the Radisson and opens in the morning around 10 I believe until dusk.

Things just keep happenig to us that arnt planned for and it is really zapping us financially and from every angle for the past few months.I have still been calling everyday to get the price I need from the hospital too and they keep saying we dont know, we need to find a code to punch in to find out. well after 2 weeks you'd think they could find one stupid code
They find it planty fast enough when they bill you
Guess I will find out when I go in on thursday.


My book for adding bananas is across the room, so no counting til later, back is too sore to be worth going over there for it until later.

The 08 board is hoping to be on the next thread before the 19th so they do it in less days than last time, so if we are going to beat them we all need to post alot today and tomorrow

Hi Jaime,
I have had meds that have relaxed me before but I hate taking prescriptions too. I can handle it unless we hit bad turbulance. so far it has all been little stuff, so they tell me I thought we were falling apart we shook so hard

I have a childhood friend who is a pilot and he says the pilots dont even consider it turbulance until their coffee cups hit the ceilings

One time we dropped about 5000 feet in the blink of an eye, I hope someday to go back up there and find my stomach
We only have one lay over, cant remember where it is, usually Atlants when we fly Delta.
But now a days they keep changing flights and layover due to cut backs.
so for now all I can really say is we are flying back and will arrive friday night.


I will look for plug ins when we board.
we booked Hyatt, they have a special right now, it was just convenient for now. when arriving tha tlate, the closest place is always the best

Gosh I am tired just thinking about it.
