Greg, I love Seaside Oregon.

we use to take the kids there a lot. I think we stayed at the Best Western right on the beach with a nice enclosed pool. You can walk to anything there which is so nice.
Of course they still have the old carousel and all the kids love to ride it.
we had one of those pictures where you dress up in costumes.
we dressed up in old west clothes. The girls were dance hall girls, and the men were outlaws and the sheriff including guns andf hats, it was alot of fun.

Ya, we really like Seaside also. We have a timeshare at the Wyndham resort on the beach.

We had a blast there last year!!

Greg, I know where your hotel is. We were to the far right of the turn around but of course walked down past your end.

I cant think of the name right now but there is an awesome pancake house int he middleof town there we always walked to. Blueberry pancakes and strawberry crepes

Tomorrow we are goint to visit my mom for a bit, and help our son move a truck load of stuff to his new apartment. Sunday is grocery shopping for me and Greg will bathe the dogs. Thats it for us.

I had my work birthday today which was fun I had my desk decorated with banners and baloons and I got lots of lovely presents which were smellies, chocolates and candles.

I am feeling bit better now too and I have a whole week off and next friday it is my 25th birthday getting old now eek.

It has rained most of the day. Suppose to rain tomorrow--90 percent chance. Don't know if the soccer will go on as planned.

Greg, nice pictures of the place. My friends were down that way last weekend.


Dawn, my youngest son Peter is moving from Salem to Monmouth. They are not too far apart. It didnt make alot of sense to me, until he brought his new girlfriend for us to meet. Guess where she lives??
Of course he says the apartments are cheaper there, which is true, but it costs more in gas to go to work.
I'm not as dumb as he thinks

Yes I am going to Salem too. I will just ride along, then we will stop by Maries and get out mail, then on to my moms house for awhile. Marie lives 2 blocks from Peters current apartment and my mom is only 15 miles from there in Silverton. So everyoneis close together.

Then next thursday I will go back to Salem for the morning to get my check up done.

So it will be a busy week .

well its almost 90, still will go up for another couple of hours before it starts to cool off. 10 minutes of playing and walking and the dogs want to come in when its this warm. But once the sun goes down, they get a real burst of energy

Evening everyone.

I had to pick Chayce up from football practice a few hours ago then bring him home and let him shower, eat then run him 30 miles north to the sand dunes where the scouts are having a camp out.

Tomorrow morning I've got to go back up to the sand dunes and get him about 7:30am because he has a football game 60 miles south that starts at 9:30am.

I need a vacation!

The concert was fun...it was for the University...not my typical kind of music but I did really enjoy it. Our Lady of Peace...after the concert we went out for coffee...it was a nice night out. I've been trying to help out my babysitter she is saving up for a laptop and almost has enough money...so we have been going out a little more then normal but the girls love it...they can't wait to get us out the door

The opening band was very different...felt like they belonged on a cruise ship or a beach somewhere

My best friends daughter got her babysitting course this spring...so she babysits for me They live across the street so her mom is there if she needs anything which is nice. She is the oldest of 4 and considers my girls as her little sisters...she is such a sweetie
