I did it! I did it! I beat Chuck to the top!

:wave2: Hi Chuck!

Boy, how lucky can you get?! :rolleyes1

Well, Bob text me the bad news that the shuttle Endeavour's launch was delayed again until July 11th. This more then likely means the Aug. 7th launch we were going over for will be delayed as well. :sad2:

I have pulled operation "No problem mon" out of the file cabinet and will be ready to implement it if or when the Aug. 7th launch gets moved.

My kids don't seem to be to heart broken over the launch....they've been running around the house talking with a Jamaican accent since I told them the news! :lmao::rotfl2:

Great job Dawn!! :thumbsup2

Morning all!!! It's raining again in NYC. We've had so much rain that my strawberries are getting moldy on the stinkin' vine! :headache::mad: I need a few days of sunlight!!!

Good Morning!

We are all up and getting ready to head out this morning. As you said, Allison, ANOTHER gloomy, rainy day! OMG! Kathy has got to quit sending her rainy weather this way. It is SUPPOSE to be rainy there not here. Temps only in the 60s too! Now remind me I said this when it gets hot :lmao:. Now if the weatherman is anywhere near right--it is suppose to be in the high 80s next week. I think everyone will take just about anything besides what we have right now. I heard Pittsburgh got washed out last night...

Ya mon, the launches seem pretty unpredictable, I'd make other plans!

I'll check back in later. Have a great day!

Giving us a boost! The sun actually came out around noon and is got to 85 degrees today! :woohoo: They are calling for very bad storms tonight with hail. Trying to decide if I should take off the solar cover, cover the tables and hide the grill :confused3

The pictures turned out great! Will get them the end of next week.

Morning all!! The sun is supposed to come out later today. Let's keep our fingers crossed. The weather yesterday was miserable!!! It poured so hard.

My niece graduated from 8th grade last night. I'm so proud of her. She is an amazing girl. She received 3 awards last night - French award and 2 memorial awards. One for being a scholar/athlete and the other for character. My sister and ex-BIL are real cryers so the poor kid was bawling her eyes out by the end of the ceremony just looking at her parents. :sad1:
Her parents went through a rough divorce a few years back, and can still be quite advesarial, so I'm so happy that she focused all her energy and frustrations into school and sports. She looked beautiful and even gave one of the speeches of the night. It was awesome. Can you tell I'm proud. I'm bragging just a smidge. :rolleyes1

Only kicker of the night was DD is now complaining of a wicked ear ache. She has 2 dance recitals coming up, one tonight and one tomorrow. She actually woke us up at 3:30 complaining of the pain. Gave her motrin, used a warm compress on her ear and she was back in bed in 20 minutes. Unfortunately since my alarm goes off at 4:15 there was no point climbing back into bed. I'll be exhausted tonight!!!

Okay, this was a long post. I think I'll go count how many more to get to the top since I'm the only one awake this morning. :lmao:

Way too many to fill with useless blathering so I will let someone else do it later. :goodvibes

Have a good day all!!

!

Parts of Pittsburgh did really get hit hard. In fact, Emily's preschool was flooded (and thus closed) throwing a wrench into our plans this week. Now Mina has to go into the office today (instead of yesterday), we have a babysitter coming over and we still haven't even packed a sock or a shirt for our flight which leaves at 9:15 tomorrow! :scared1:

Add to that I am in charge of Swim Team this summer and we had two meets this week, I'm working with some new clients and trying to wrap up a couple of old projects and it's been a week.

I also decided that this was the week I was going to be back to working out regularly so I have already worked out seven times this week (twice a day for two days). I think it's the only thing helping me get through with at least a little bit of energy....

I'm tired after typing all that.

Have a great day all and a great week ahead. We may post from WDW but for sure when we return.

Good Morning!

It sounds like Allison and Jeff need a vacation!

Allison it sounds like you'll be making a trip to the doctor today. You do know that you can ask for ear drops for pain--especially if it's an outer ear infection.

Wow, Jeff, you are busy as usual. I'm sure after so many travels you and Mina can basically just throw stuff in a bag! :woohoo:Have a great time and wish Elizabeth the best on her dancing!

We had wicked storms last night but no hail that I heard anyways. Stephanie had wind, we had none to speak of. Lots of thunder and lightning. Alexis had to be comforted from the storm. Boys didn't even hear it :rotfl: Elizabeth slept right through it too! She would have been terrified--as she doesn't like loud noises.

Still gloomy but weatherman promised a reprieve midday before the next storm moved in.
:flower3:

By now you know I'm heading for the top. If I don't, I know Greg or Chuck will! Hey, Chuck, you left after I beat ya. Hiding?

Hey ladies, I got the top. But it's not near as much fun as when you have to compete for it!

Hey, Greg, you sleeping in today?

No, just been one of those day. :sad2:

Holly poured some olive oil on the hard wood floors in the dinning room last night and Janel slipped and fell on it. I think she may have broken her tail bone or damaged something in her lower back. I had to give her an oxycodone last night for the pain.

:scared1: Oh no! I assume a doctor trip is also on your agenda! Hope Janel is ok.

I have two younger brothers who are Doctor's and I consulted with them last night and we've decided to take a "wait and see" approach.

If her tail bone is broken there really isn't much they can do for that.

:scared1: I broke my tail bone back in the 80s and there was nothing more painful!
