Got to say I can finally say it is good. OMG I've been sick Finally, I can say I'm feeling better without the aid of medicine.

Sun is shining and we are suppose to stay cool here today. Going to celebrate Mother's Day today. Steak and morel mushrooms--yummy!

Chuck you must of been just waiting for me to go away for the weekend so you could sneak in on the top. Well I will be more watch ful during the week so that doesnt happen again.

Dawn, i got sick friday night and was better saturday afternoon, but now I think its coming back again. so I didnt get alot done, but Greg did a few repair things which really helps.

we were going to take next weekend off from going to town but decided today we need to go back. i will work at my moms and he will go to his moms to finish up getting our quads and trailer ready to go.
We have decided to go ahead and get all set to go back to Florida even with all thats happening. We hope to be on the road around the 4th of June
, so our home will only set empty for a month. We know it will be rough going but we are just going to go for it!!

Didnt get to see my mom again. The state of her mind this mornign made it impossible to go in and see her. Hopefully next weekend

Oh yes, i almost forgot. I need to brag on my oldest grandaughter. She has been in campfire since she was 5 and saturday she and 5 others kids from Oregon were awarded a wo he lo (spelling) award. It is equivalent to an Eagle scout in scouts so its quite and honor!!! We have photos and will post some next week, if I get them downloaded by then

Well I'll be thinking of you (driving across the country) while we're laying on the beach in Aruba! 11 more days and I'm outta here!!

Good Morning! We are suppose to be in the 70 to 80 degree range with no rain all week! We did get the pool opened yesterday! Christian jumped in twice--you probably could hear him yollering in Oregon!

Nah, Greg, I'm glad you and Janel get to go. My parents went to Aruba many a year ago and enjoyed it there. We'll expect pictures and a full report when you get back!! Is Mom staying with the kids at home?

Kathy, Glad you are heading back to Florida! That might help you get through this month easier knowing you are going back!

I'm sure Jeff will jump in a little later and let us know how Elizabeth did (especially on her solo performance) and Emily. I think our Elizabeth will be starting in dance of some kind this fall. See loves to dance and twirl

Jeff, how did the dance recital go?

Dance recital went great. TOO much drama among the girls though (the ones in Elizabeth's class) but the girls both did great. Elizabeth's solo was awesome as were her other dances and Emily did great in all of her dances especially Hawaiian!

I'll post some pictures later. I got a new video camera and it doesn't work as well with my Mac (or at least I haven't figured it out) but once I do I will post some video of the dances.

Kathy - If you are leaving on June 4 will you be there when we are there? We will be at Disney June 20-28. We are staying at Port Orleans Riverside June 20-24 and then to Animal Kingdom Villas for the remainder of the stay. Elizabeth is dancing at Downtown Disney on June 22. We don't have a specific time yet, but we should know soon. It'd be great to get to see you and Greg.

What happened to your canon video camera or is that the new one your talking about?

My high def canon is awesome! We used it on our Nana cruise and it took great video. The only problem is editing the video and burning it onto Bluray?!

My laptop has an intel Core 2 Duo processor, but it took my computer 18 hours to compile 1 hour of high def video and burn it to Bluray?!

Before I try burning another I've gotta get a much faster quad core processor or the new Core i7 to be able to handle high definition.

sorry I made a type o on the date, I meant the 14th of June for heading back to Florida. Too much to do to go before then. If things fall together faster we will leave sooner. I really am hoping to see my mom one more before we leave. She has been too bad to see lately.

I bought Pinnacle Studio software and it seems to work really well with my Canon, it just takes forever to compile the high def picture.
