Whew! I finally told my kids tonight! They are so excited! We sat down and made a link chain with how many days we have left! Here I thought they would be happy it was less than 60 and they were complaining because it was 57!

Tracey - good morning, I was planning to put a felt back on them and hot glue a pin on them so they would be easy to put on a baseball cap etc in. That colour green doesn't necesarily go with a lot of things. I will be happy to make them for your family since it would be hard for you to get to a home depot. How old is your dd and the correct spelling of your whole family. Your name is easy since I have a sister who spells her name the same as yours. Yes you put the door magnet on the outside of the door. My youngest son has a terrible sense of direction and I am really afraid that he will get lost so I am hoping the door sign will help him. I am happy to make Mickey heads for anyone that needs them. I am going to the scrap book shop this afternoon and see if I can get some letters instead of my handwriting. I used a sharpie, I know they don't look professional but I was experimenting. Well so far on my three days off my son has had the flu so I havent been able to do any of the shopping I had planned. Oh well best laid plans and so forth. My DMIL is going to watch him for me this afternoon so I can go and spend my birthday money. Everyone have a great day/weekend.

Hey I was just reading something on the other board - do you realize that we can all say now that we are cruising next month? Cool!
Hey Amanda with 4 kids and 57 days they didn't all get to make 15 loops for the chain.
That is a great idea but my kids would look at me like I had two heads.
Everyone in my family thinks that my laptop is glued to my thighs since I sit in my comfy chair and type type type mostly on the DIS boards. I have to admit I check them at least once while at work too. This obsession is crazy. fun but crazy.

dzneprincess--my DS said he would really enjoy having a penpal--I'll PM you. Yes, he has plenty of cards--the way they are strung all over the playroom, I would say thousands, but I'm sure that's an exaggeration. Less than two months now, and so much to do! See you soon!

Curt S and Amanda - I think my sons would enjoy a pre cruise penpal especially someone who loves Yugi! They both have their own email address - if your sons are interested just let me know - I know there were a couple of other preteen/early teens who had cards too please feel free to pm me and maybe we can set up a penpal chain.

Oh my goodness, you're killing me!!! I'd love for my dd8 to have a penpal as well. It'd be great for her to know someone b4 the cruise & give her something else to look forward to - meeting your dd in person then.

The thing is that we're keeping this cruise as a surprise to her since we had to cancel our 9/4 one. I will speak to dh & see if we should break our silence.
