We have been a busy group. Guess I hadn't checked in for a while. I have a few ideas.

1. On the Mickey heads--First let me say that I love the idea! My only thought was I think they will get distroyed by the end of the week if we attach them to a bag. I thought it would be cool to do this only have it the size of a luggage tag. I bought some at Wal-Mart that they called laminating tags. You just print off what you want and then sandwich it between the two layers of tags that are then self sealing. If we want to proceed with that I can dig them out and get the exact size. Like the idea though of having our disboard name on them.

2. We are staying at the All Star Music the night before the cruise.

3. Curt (DH) is parasailing at CC.

4. We have currently booked the submarine excursion, but are having second thoughts after reading some reports. Does anyone have any good ideas for an excursion that a 4 year old can do? Also, how closely do they monitor the ages. She will be 5 on Jan 18, could she do an excursion where the cutoff is 5?

I am getting so excited for the cruise. Just ordered scrapbooks to make autograph books for my girls. They should be here in a couple of days. I think I am going to keep it a surprise though!

Wow! We have been busy, haven't we?? So glad to hear all the plans!! I like the ideas "floating" around for the Mickey heads...just let me know which one we decide to do! I already have a laminated Mickey head with my DIS name in my Passporter pouch and will be wearing that on embarkation day. I also have the same on my luggage! Would love to put something like this on the door tags I'll be doing-don't have scanning capabilities so I'm not sure how to go about doing this. Any ideas??

Add me to the excursion list for the following: Under Two Flags in St. Maarten and St. Nautica St. John's Snorkeling Expedition. Right now it's just for one, but I'm sure some of my family members will be joining me!

We will be staying at the Hotel Airport Clarion (from priceline) for November 26th. All we have left to do (besides excursions) is to arrange transportation. Will probably go with Southern Elegance as they have the best deal for a 15 passenger mini-bus so we can all travel together with plenty of room for our luggage! (A MUST in our family!!)

Went shopping today on a whim...and found some cruise clothes for 90% off!! I'm still in shock! Can't wait to put them in the "official" cruise suitcase.

Starting on newsletter #4 for my family...this issue will be all about Castaway Cay!!

He also wanted to know about bringing his cards. I started with a "no" but thought I should check with you first to see what your sons are going to do. Is there anyone else in this cruise who have Yu-Gi-Oh addicts in their family?

OK, I just upgraded my rm from cat 9/deck 2 to a cat.7/deck 6!!!! Am I going to regret this switch & think it's not worth it? I'm sure that some of you out there will definitely make me feel good about justifying this huge change [in $$$].

My DH doesn't know - it's a surprise to him b/c he's always wanted a verandah - even though we've never cruised before. How the heck does he know he'd like it? He's spoil!!! And here I am - a wonderful dw to make his wishes come true. Hey, I thought Disney was supposed to do that...

DTuleya - cross me out of the Rhino Rider. We can't do that b/c dd is only 8. Ooops, forgot this minor detail. Also, we'll now be in rm 6636.

Darcimborcherding - I think your kids will enjoy the Butterfly Farm Tour. It has good reviews & is something different pace. I don't want to do all water activities in all ports.

Hey, has anyone ever stayed in rm 6636; is it a good room?

Hi Curt - my sons do not need any encouragement to bring their cards. My oldest is 11 and the youngest will be 9 by the time we leave. So I would tell him to pack them!

Disneefun: The head looks great! I'm going to try to download it tonight and try to put my DIS screen name on it somewhere. I'm sure the kids will put theirs in a scrapbook when we are done, so we'll probably find a way to wear ours.

dtuleya: With the wide ages in our family we can't seem to reach an agreement on anything except the beach (which is okay--the excursions for a family of 8 are pretty expensive). Right now, for excursions, we will probably do the beach thing at CC and Corral World and Coki Beach on our own at St. John's (Passporter said that a big complaint was the short length of the stop at Corral World). St. Martin's is in the air, but the butterfly farm is looking pretty inviting. Has anyone any recommendations on it?

Less than 60 days! My family's like a group of 6 year olds waiting for Christmas!

My Ds will love to bring his cards. Last year I did not let him. He was even Yugi for his halloween costume aboard the Magic last year, and hethought because of that that I would let him bring them! LOL He gets on the computer every day and looks at those darn cards. Did I tell you that I took all the kids to see the movie a few weeks back. Oh joym what a thrill it was
OK fellow cruisers. my kids STILL do not know we are going and I need ideas on how to let them know. It is time to let them in on the fun planning and anticipation and of course making friends before we go.

So, was someone going to actually make the mickey heads finally? I do not have a printer, so I can not use Disneefun's design. BTW is anyone having trouble keeping together everyone's names and such? I know I am.
Scarppy, do not regret your decision. This will be our first time having a verandah and we are very excited about it.
Is anyone going to be near us, in rooms 6050 and 6051? It does not seem so.
