Tomorrow afternoon we head out ot the beach for the weekend.
Going to try a dog friendly hotel for the first time. It looks nice so we will see.

We have had the AC on since the end of March (it was in the 90s). How hot does it have to get before you turn yours on?

Afternoon:

Well it depends on the "inside" temp.....so if it gets in the high 70's low 80's in the house the air is on.....its been cranked and on for a good week now....

Other than the hot weather....not much else going on.....just work and I have to say that I am on major burn out......I'm really thinking of quiting and moving to colorado and just looking for a stupid little part time job so I can collect a paycheck and have some spending money......and babysit during the day for my granddaughter. ... have to give that some consideration.

We have had the ac on around here for about a month. It gets hot and humid in the south!!!

One of these days, when I grow up, I want to be like Kathy. Camping one week, going to the beach the next!!!

your welcome to come along. Just a short 8 hour flight and 2 hour drive and you'll be here. Just remember Oregon beaches are not like the beaches on the east coast. Our water is still in the 40's and 50's and very windy. Average temp is 55. But it is suppose to be warmer this weekend and sunny which means I will only have to wear one hooded sweatshirt and one coat over it to keep warm

Our AC is on when it hits about 80 outside. Due to the small space inside this metal RV its hotter inside than outside by several degrees.

have you ever been to the ice bar at Mandalay Bay? I saw it on the travel network and it really looked great. I think its called -5 or something like that.
Even the glasses are made of ice and all the drinks have to have vodka in them because it wont freeze. If they didnt add vodka all the drinks would freeze solid before you could drink them.
Sounded like a fun way to cool off on a hot summer day.Kathy
