Howdy, gee nobody had posted for such along time??

We had a good day at MK today. did a few attractions and walked the entire park then back home., got Minnie and took her in to give her a bath.
Now it is about time to fix dinner, although I havnt a clue what I am going to fix.

Hi all!

I figured I should post before Kathy flicks the whip up to Illinois and before Shell has to trek through the snow to check on me!

It has been a busy couple of weeks -- hectic at work (and training a new assistant & reimaging our work computers), and nights & weekends have been pretty busy as well.

As Shell said, Bill & I were in Vegas for 3 days last week -- it was fantastic as always!! We also got to spend Thursday with a friend of ours who moved to Reno about 6 years ago.

And yes, Shell, I spent lots of time at the Rio with Britney!!!! I really earned my beads!

Unfortunately, Jess was sick during that time, so our baby-sitters had no break during the day. She's doing better, so hopefully she won't miss any more school.

We had a blizzard warning yesterday, but I don't think we got much snow at all -- maybe 2-3 inches.

As far as a ship name -- Disney Mojito does have a nice ring to it! Disney Dancing Banana or Nana Head seems a bit wordy. Bill did seem interested in trying out a new ship -- maybe we can start saving now so we can get out of the coal room. Still working on him for 2008. . .let the seduction begin! (Now if Nana reunions were in Vegas, he'd want to be there ten times a year! )

Better get some sleep -- my first day at the office in a week!

Suppose to rain here today and tomarrow but still be close to 80. So it iwll be sticky and humid

I think I do have the winter blahs... I'm sitting in the office and waiting for lunch. The paperwork I came in to fill out didn't come in, so I'm just hanging out and watching the clock. My conference calls are this afternoon.

I think I like the ship name "Disney Enchantment" with Tink supervising someone painting... Can't think of the right person to paint. Maybe Peter Pan or Wendy?

Ok, and on the other thread, I think one little word got you in trouble... "but"... I've read the other guy's post, re-read it, read and re-read your post... and that's the only way I can get there from your post.

I'm totally with you Shell! If you don't want to follow a dress code, go to Topsiders or one of the counter service places or cruise on a line that has "free-style" cruising. Or better yet -- go to Vegas where anything goes!!!!!

Places should enforce their rules or not have them. Just like when boarding a plane -- they are only supposed to board certain rows at a time, but end up allowing everyone to board whenever they wish. I guess it's the teacher in me that likes to see certain rules followed! (Hope that guy doesn't start reading our posts here!)

It is funny to see how worked up people get about things -- that's one of the best parts of these boards!

Morning, all!

As an alternative to the fine weather in Florida, by Friday it will be snowing again in Denver! The weather forecast says snow Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday... I have rescheduled my team lunch at least 3 times due to weather; looks like it will happen again!

We are around 75 right now but it is cloudy and windy.

I just finished making an apple snacking cake and apricot bars.
I hope they are good because both were new recipes and were sweetened with juices and fruit only. No sugar or honey or molasses. Suppose to be healthy snacks.
I will be anxious to hear from the men here if they like it. It smells so good!!!
It will take a few minutes to cool, then they can try it.
