Christine, are you still with us?? Hope things have quieted back down so you will have some time to post again.
How is KC doing?? I'll bet he wont like the noise this weekend for New Years.

On July 4th Minnie went nuts with all the noises. Florida sells fireworks for every holiday so we really have a ton of noise!!

Bill/Shell, does Guido get upset with the loud noises too??

Well today I need to venture out to a couple of stores. I need to get wrapping paper on sale for next year. Plus get some milk and fresh fruit. I hope the crowds have died down some. But people really like those clearance sales after the holidays. Many use gift card they received to buy stuff really cheap.
I love bargains, but I hate the crowds.
Then off to the post office to mail Bob the photo CD for the mossiac.

It was only in the 30's this morning. I have to dig out a coat today. I only have a short jacket and a sweatshirt because we never need them here.
Thank goodness I have a good heater in my car, at least I hope i do. I dont think I have ever turned it on, only the air conditioner. Guess I will find out in about an hour from now.

Ok, who has plans for the party of the year for New Years???

I wondered what happened to you and your dad??? Your mom posted recently.
We have less than a year til we cruise, so time to start posting and making plans. Time will fly by!!!

We are just staying home and staying safe. Minnie freaks out with all the noises, so we need to be here for her anyway. Plus Greg always falls asleep before midnight.

back to work for me today so......its a growling day for the mutt.
Glad to see most of the icons and smilies are back and working.

Fireworks, Kathy? You folks really need to have snow for christmas more often....thats too weird.

As for Guido,....loud noises, quiet noises...none of that bothers him. At this point, he's deaf as a post. Its really hard to get his attention even. We have to clap really loud or pound on the floor to get his attention. I guess for a 15.5 year old dog, thats to be expected.

Good morning everyone!

Hope you all had a great Christmas, etc., etc.

Time to get back to work here. We had parties to go on the 23rd & 25th, and we hosted our Christams Eve party on Sunday. Yesterday we just stayed home! I started buying some of the stuff for next year (cards, wrapping paper, etc.) when I was at Kohl's on the 23rd. Things were "only" 60% off, but the selection was great and there were NO crowds.

Jessalyn's neatest gift (IMO) was a replica of the Cinderella castle at MK. We bought it when we were at the Disney store in MCO and had it shipped home. It has plenty of small pieces so I'm sure I will be cursing it soon!

Not much else going on here.

sorry that Guido is deaf. But if he lived here it would be a blessing for him.
Every holiday that comes along or local festival they have fireworks. I agree it is weird??
We have a ton of kids in our neighborhood so we lots of loud noises that really terrify Minnie. Of course she took months to get over being afraid of garbage cans, she is kind of a coward.
But at the same time she is very protective if strangers come by.

Shell, I am here and awake!!! This is my 3rd post of the day!!
I think a lot of people are at work and recovering from the holiday, just in time for another holiday to come.

Are you going to "Volunteer" to keep a cruise list again for us??
If so I will look up our room number and send you some information when you are ready. That way each time someone new comes you could just add them on instead of having so many all at once to do. Our numbers are few for now, which should make it easier for you.
See how helpful I am at volunteering you for work??
Actually you did such a great job last time,(I especially liked the map) that it is only natural you should do it again, Right???? PLEASE!!!

I went to Wal mart and got all my wraping paper for next year while they still had a good selection. I also got some little shopping bags to put presents in too. I thought if we did another gift exchange( Hint) on the ship I will be prepared ahead of time.

Then I mailed off a lot of pictures to friends and finally got my CD mailed to Bob for the mosiac. Now I need to mail Linda a few more recipes and I will be all caught up for awhile, I hope.

Anybody ever try to type with a 54 pound dog in your lap?? It ain't easy, guess I'd better quite while I can.

Yeah, I've been thinking the same thing, Kathy. Which other "original" Banana Heads are confirmed? You, us, Jeff, Cheri and Okie (anyone else?). Then we have to wait on the confirmations from Bob, Wendy, Denise, Kelly, Lauri, and Tonya , because they are ALL coming as well . Then the new Banana Heads ... lvstitch, Kycha, TexasTaylors. Who am I missing, Kathy?

Even when Guido could hear, loud noises never bothered him. I'd take him up to the Memorial Day parade and between the bands and the civil war re-enactments, he never flinched.

Sorry I haven't posted in a few weeks. I have been super busy with the holidays and the in-laws and on top of it all I have been sick for over a week I have Bronchitis and no voice. I am at work but really should be at home sleeping. I missed 2 and a half days last week so I just can't miss anymore this week. At least I have a short week. Chirstmas was just Ok. We stayed at Red Rock Casino and had a nice dinner but we just didn't feel that good, I would have ratherd stayed home but I would loose my deposit on the room so we had to go. Yesterday I finally went to the Dr and he gave my a Z Pak, so I should start feeling good soon. We just layed around the house yesterday and watch the DVD's we got for Christmas.

Hi everyone,
I hope everyone had A Very Merry Christmas. Mine was good except the fact that I was sick. I am at work but I have two ear infections and hearing is a major problem. Now I know how a deaf person feels. It is so horrible. I can't even hear my girls and that upsets me the most. I went to the DR yesterday and was given an antibiotic so hopefully I will start feeling better soon.

Boy, I can see I've one heckuvan impression on Kathy!!!!!!! I would be "the other Cheri" with DH Bill & DD Jessalyn! We were also on the 11/25/06 cruise -- I know we met once or twice!!!
