We still haven't booked as of yet. We are still on 11/07 or 11/08 discussion. :confused3 Got to talk Steve into this. Money always seems to be an issue with men. I don't understand it.
"OR"??? You mean "AND", right? :thumbsup2 Hey, if we have to go into serious debt for all the Banana Heads, then you are too!

Hi Pat,
we have a Sony digital, dont know if it has another name or number on it. w ehave always had good luck with Sony products.

Hey, tell Steve that in 08 the prices will go up considerably, so actually he will be saving money by booking 07, plus even if he needs more time to think, he should put money down NOW so it will freeze the price for you guys, because each month it will creep up a little more!!!
And you should get the Florida resident rate discount when the time gets closer, just like this year. Maybe that will help convince him!!!

Earlier you asked about the Fairy Godmothers stuff. I was one so I can tell you it was afew of us ladies who bought gifts for a 5 year old girl and her best friend who were cruising with her mom on our cruise. Her dad had just died October 1st from cancer. She had cruised with her mom and dad the year before on the same cruise. So we wanted to cheer her up some and make it extra special for her and her friend.
I bought them a Belle and Snow White dress and shoes, Bob and Lisa bought matching tiaras and others bought stuffed Mickey,a build a bear with different outfits, lots of glow items, those mini towels you put in water and they expand, princess jewelry, signed pillowcases, hand made autograph book and a homemade scrap book and many other things, too many to remember right now. Linda was in charge of it. It was really a lot of fun to do. A gift for each girl was delivered to the room while they were out and I made tags with fairy godmothers on them with the girls names on it. so it was all from their fairy godmothers.

Hope that answers your question. I think there were 6 ot 7 of us.

well gotta go, will check back later!!!

Hey Kathy - what kind of camera do you have? You have some beautiful shots. Steve is going to buy me a small camera and I was wondering what kind you had.

Hey watch those generalizations. I'm the one who had to talk Mina into this past cruise because she thought it was too soon from our August cruise. I prefer one vacation per quarter of the year - just enough to keep me going to the next!

my DH   Vegas! We were hoping to get out there for a short get away,

You should try to come out on July or begining of August. If you can take the heat :sunny:, it's usually much cheaper than. Also if you don't mind staying off the strip there are lots of hotels that you can get room rates for like $30 a night and they aren't really that bad. Let me know I would be happy to give you some suggestions about where to stay for cheap.

Kathy, no don't know who everyone is but I have been keeping up with reading every post so I should figure it out soon

:welcome: :welcome: :welcome: Jennifer and family,
Well I dont have little kids anymore, however we did have grandkids who were close to 2 and 5 and they went to the Butterfly farm at st. Maartin and loved it. The youngest got a little scared because there were butterflies landing on him, but once he found out they wouldnt hurt him it was ok.

St. Thomas we kept the kids and took them on an island tour, which was boring for them, but fun for us. Not much accept beaches there for little ones. I know my other grandkids took the lift (tram) up the side of the mountain for the view and there was a bird show there to see.

I have never been there yet, but Coral World might work for young kids. It is like an underwater observatory where you can go and see the fish in their natural habitat without getting wet yourself. maybe someone else here has done it and could give you details about it.

Glad to have you with our group. Part of us just got off the Magic and are calling this our reunion cruise.

Looking forward to getting to know you and your family over the next 11 1/2 months,

Kathy

Thank you Kathy! :thanks: We are VERY excited about the upcoming cruise. I thought I would have to talk DH into re-booking while onboard, but he was the one anxious to get to that DCL desk. :Pinkbounc He was like a kid in a candy store. Initially, we were going to book the Key West, Cozumel, Grand Cayman and CC cruise but the CM told us this one was more "kid-friendly", is that true? Mainly, we are just looking to relax and make sandcastles and of course DH and I want another cabana massage on CC. :woohoo: What is with all the  ? Just curious.

Is there another Taylor family on board? Cool! I'm Josh. I'm 16 years.

I'm listeing to Disney music right now. Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. I wonder if it's as long as flaucinaucihilpilifilification?

I keep forgetting that this image is no longer a surprise thing....

That's such a cool sign Bill, thanks again for giving it to us, but i believe someone stole it, unless you took them back. Athene lost her's too.

Welcome Jennifer & family!!

I thought there was a lot of family oriented/kid oriented stuff on the eastern. I think that trip we took w/ Sonny (Sunny?) Liston would be really fun for a kid....'specially the trip down!!!! (what was that song again???---I'll probably remember it on Wednesday ah-ooh-ooh-ohh!!!--). There were a lot of kids on the golden eagle catamaran too...they seemed be enjoying themselves quite a bit!

Anyways....I finished up my first day of work after the trip. You know that "vacation was great but its good to get back to life" thing? WRONG!!!!!!!
After an hour of toe-tapping commute through the snow I've re-constructed my lil countdown board at work except now its 350-something days.
How am I gonna get through this?????
I wanna see my dis family again!!!!!

If you want the design, Josh....I can e-mail it to you. You can print it as you see fit. They even have paper that you can print on and create an iron on transfer to clothing. (btw....when someone steals your creation and you have retained the original file....its a form of flattery). Catch the thieves and we'll split the settlement.....deal?

That's such a bummer Josh. I hid mine inside my room on the last night because on our last cruise some of our signs got stolen that night. BTW, I'm sorry I didn't meet you or anyone in your family (how did THAT happen?) -- We'll just have to make sure to meet you next year!

Bill you are right. STT was cool for kids. there were lots of good options. STM, we just hung out at the beach near the port - which I wish we wouldn't have done coz the kids were freaked out by the aggressive vendors. We need a new option for next year. I want to go to the French side but we really don't need our girls "exposed" to the nude beaches. Is there somewhere we can go that is "less" so?

Jennifer - we have an 8 and 2 yo and this cruise was great. We did the Western in August and thought there were positives about both. The biggest positives about Eastern were the extra sea day and all the banana heads. Having this group on the cruise made it a wholly different (and better) experience than our Western.

DD8 met a banana head's granddaughter on these boards before the cruise and emailed back and forth a bit. They met on the first day at our DIS board meeting and became fast friends and it stuck for the whole cruise. It made all the difference for our sometimes shy little girl who had a friend before she even boarded the ship.

Jennifer,
Bill is the culprit that started the whole dancing  craze on our thread for the 11/25 cruise we all just came back on. It's kinda hard to explain it, but we all kept posting them and Bill is a smarty pants and creates crazy bananas doing weird things on his posts.
I hate to admit it, but he is very creative!!!

It turned out to be alot of fun for all of us.

well it is time for bed, i'm pooped. This cold is really taking my strength this time.

will check back in the morning,

kathy

Good morning to everyone,
well we are suppose to get mid 70's today which should be nice. I would love to finish up my Christmas shopping today because rain is coming by Friday.
But this rotton cold keeps taking all my energy and now Greg has a nasty cold too.
But I will try since I have to go out today anyway.
If I did everything right I will have our cruises listed at the bottom of this page.

The week is half way over and we have less than a year left before we cruise :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Christine,
where are the new pictures of KC?? Such a cute puppy!!!!

Kathy

Hey Guys, just checking in on the Nana Head Reunion thread to see how you all are doing.

Kathy: What is the e-mail address for DCL guest services? I need to write them to see if anyone found Lisa's Eeyore jacket. Thanks!

Hi Bob,
sure hope you guys would consider joining us here for the reunion cruise.
please give it some thought??? :rolleyes1

here is the address you wanted:

dcl.guest.communications@disneycruise.com

Hope they found her jacket. ;)
Thanks again for finding my camera!!! My hero :worship:

working on my CD to send you. I hope to mail it the first of the week,

kathy

Thanks Kathy, we are thinking about changing to this cruise. But, that would be three cruises in a 12 month period, and that is a lot of money. We don't get those Florida resident rates! ;)

Maybe Kathy can adopt you so you can get the rates. :rotfl:
Heck, maybe she can adopt ALL of us!
