So I called DCL yesterday to see if my rates have gone down, no such luck. I also found out there are only three Cat 3 cabins left so I know more people are going on the cruise than just us. Where is everyone???? Come on people, like the title says "We're better than leftovers" :woohoo:

Good morning,
I was wondering where everyone is too??? :confused3

Could it be we OFFEND??? :rotfl2:
Maybe I should try a new deodorant or mouthwash??

Do computers have smellavision now??

It is their loss. :guilty:

I know as it gets closer others will join, but it seems to be taking for ever and we are all doing a great job of keeping us bumped up to page one. :thumbsup2

Does anyone have plans this weekend besides trying NOT to melt?? :confused3

DH is taking company to MGM saturday and to AK on Sunday. I was going but decided to stay home because Minnie has an infection which I need to care for. Dont want to ask someone to care for her right now. There are too many little things the Vet said to do. But I dont mind. DH volunteered to stay home so I could go, but he hasnt had as much time with the grandkids as I have had. They will be spending the night at All Star Sports so they wont have so much driving to do.

well that is about it from here for now,

Kathy

Kathy, I guess there's just the few of us that are crazy enough to start planning this far in advance :rotfl: I bet when we get to the one year mark we will get more people.

My Mom's big birthday weekend is finally here. Tonight we are going to dinner at the Claim Jumper and then we are going bowling at about 11pm this way we get to celebrate my brother's birthday too, which is tomorrow. Yes my family has a lot of August birthdays, 4 in all. I did read somewhere that August is the most popular month for birthdays.

Minnie is in good hands. She has a great Mommie to take care of her. She will be just fine. Here's some pixiedust: for Minnie.

Have a good weekend everyone. :dance3:

Have fun with your moms birthday.

It's a quiet morning here today. suppose to get some showers late today.
but I dont believe it until I see it!!

it is garbage pick up day and the day I scoop all of Minnies poopoo! :rotfl2:
See how exciting my life is right now??? :rotfl:

I was just thinking about how many posts we will have by the time we cruise. My next cruise has almost 2000 posts and we started it a little over ayear before the cruise.
I think we will beat that. I predict 2500 posts by the day we sail.
Ok, lets hear what you guys think. We will see who is the closest, kind of a contest between us. But the total doesnt count until the day we sail. because some people post on that last day too.
Do you want to see who can guess the closest???
You have seen my prediction.

have a great saturday everyone,
Kathy

Sounds like a fun day of pickin' up poop :rotfl:

I say 3025. I really have faith that more people will join us. :Pinkbounc

Howdy,
well it is only 90 out today, probably much better than Las Vegas!!! HUH??
Things are pretty quiet here today. Everyone is still at Animal Kingdom. My oldest son drove over to meet them there and have another short visit before our daughter flies back home next Sunday.

I was bored this morning so I decided on my other cruise thread to count how many dancing    we have posted. They call us the Wild Turkeys and dancing nana heads. So I thought it would be fun to go back through all 124 pages of posts to count how many we had posted.

I know I have way too much time on my hands :rotfl2:

we posted 1564 bananas so far!!! :woohoo:

well that is all around here today, just keeping us bumped up.

Jim are you still with us???? :confused3 I hope so. :goodvibes

take care everyone and enjoy the rest of your day. ;)

Good Monday Morning everyone,
another beautiful day here is Florida. :sunny:
got to make out bills today and get into the mail.

My family had a great time at WDW over the weekend. The really liked Everest. I am a chicken when it comes to coasters , so i will never go on it. I did watch them build it. we would go to AK every few weeks just to look at the progress. It was fascinating to watch being built.

well no news today, just keeping us bumped up. :dance3:

Had a crazy busy weekend. Mom was surprised so everything was a success. I am looking forward to some quiet time. That is until my Mother-in-Laws comes next week  Yes my husband decided he wanted to fly his Mother out here for a week. I swear my next free weekend is Sept 30th. At this rate the cruise will be here in no time :cool1:

I have a question:

What does everyone hope to do on this cruise? My goal is to just enjoy the ship. We only went for 4 days the last time and were constantly doing something. This time I am hoping to walk around on deck 4 and sit in one of the comfy chairs I have heard so much about and enjoy a good book while sitting at the adult pool and on our balcony. I just want to take it all in.

we do quiet a bit of stuff, mostly in the evenings. The days we just bum around. DH always takes at least one nap a day. We often sit on deck 4 and just watch the seas and relax.
We spend a lot of time in the Promenade lounge listening to music, especially when Don and Tommy are performing, they are our favorite.

we have learned after a few cruises not to try to do it all. We enjoy it much more when we space things out and leave plenty of time for relaxation.

Sorry I haven't been around for a few days. My son has been sick since Friday, my dad has a mosquito bite that turned into cellulitis in his leg and it's been a little crazy. I'm also trying to get everything in place for our trip to WDW this Sunday. I'm really keeping my fx that my son is well enough by then. He's had a cold with croup now for 4 days and his asthma is flaring. I'm sure the cold and croup will be gone by Sunday but the asthma flare-up can take awhile to die down and I hate the thought of him coughing and wheezing in the heat and humidity in FL. Then again, if it's a choice between wheezing in NY or wheezing in WDW, you know which one we'll choose. :rotfl:

I was thinking too about what we'd do on the cruise. We'll have a taste of cruising first with the 4 day in February. I'm thinking that we'll probably do a few excursions, but I think my son would probably enjoy spending more time on ship than running around. I'm hoping he'll want to spend some time in the kids club so I can get in a spa treatment or two, and just to have some time relax.

Hi everyone,

Laura, i hope your son is feeling better. I have a son who has had asthma and allergies since birth. So I know how hard it can be. At least as he gets older they do have alot of things to help them now. My DS is an adult now and you'd never know he'd been sick at all. I'm sure your sonewill be the same. I agree that if he had to be wheezing at home or at WDW, he'd rather be at WDW. there are lots of things that are not too strenous he can do. Be sure and let us know how it goes.

I am off to the post office now,
will check in later,
kathy

Laura, sounds like you have been pretty stressed, nothing a trip to WDW won't cure :cool1: I wish I was going to WDW this weekend. We are still hoping to get to Disneyland next month. So far so good. I need a Disney fix really bad.

I am planning on doing two excursions because I want to enjoy the islands we visit but other than that I really want to relax. However, I have looked at old navagators and I really want to go to all the cooking demos and I would really like to play Bingo and brunch at Palo's at least once...see I am already having a hard time relaxing :rotfl2: I just don't want to miss anything.

OK have to go plan the heck out of my Hawaii trip now. Talk to you guys later. Laura, I want to see lots of pictures from you WDW trip.

The cooking demos are great and samples too!!!
I have seen them on our past 4 cruises and really enjoyed them.

Laura, yes please post pictures when you get back.
we will be at a water park on saturday and then sunday we have to take our company to the airport ot else we would be there on sunday too.

Have a good evening you guys,
kathy

Good Morning all,

It is Wednesday, over the hump day for most working people!!!
We are one day closer to the cruise. YIPPEE!!!

Have a great day everyone!!!

I will check in later to see if anyone has any news to share,

kathy

Don't worry, I'm the queen of pictures. Our last trip I had hundreds and we were only in the parks for 4 days, lol.

Knock wood, Brendan is wheezing less and I'm keeping my fx he'll be nice and healthy by Sunday. This is also his last week at the preschool he's been at since he just turned 2 years old. He was little more than a baby when he started there and he's grown and changed so much since then, sigh. I bought a nice plant and a tin of Mrs. Fields cookies today for his teachers. And then he starts at his new school on 9/7. He'll be in pre-K, but he'll be going full-time instead of part-time and the school goes through 8th grade so he'll be there with all the big kids.

Kathy, have fun at the water park!! I think we'll be at MK that day.

The cooking demos have samples? Mmmmm.......

Hey Kathy, how's the weather? I heard you were getting some much needed rain. It's still pretty warm here, it's been about 105 everyday. There is a chance of rain but I think they say that just to give us something to look foward too.

Nothing going on here except work :guilty: Gosh I wish we were going on the cruise this November. How cool would it be to only have 3 months left. I can't wait to say that.

TTFN :stitch:

Yes we did get a couple quick showers this afternoon and it cooled us off to 80 which was nice. But we really didnt get any measurable amount of rain where I live, although some areas did get quite a bit. We are still having a lot of thunder so maybe we will get some more.
I am going this November, as well as this cruise, so I am very lucky to have something to help pass the time til 07. I also have a 3 day 4/5/07, which is Easter weekend. DH has Good Friday off so he wont loose any vacation time with that one.
I made brownies today and BBQ sauce for dinner. DH cant have sugar so I make most things myself, even BBQ sauce, it is full of sugar in the stores and you can find a sugar free one but it tastes like water!!
Not much else happening here tonight, will check in with you guys in the morning to help keep us bumped up,

Kathy

HAPPY FRIDAY to you ladies and Jim if he is still with us???

Nothing new around here, we got a little rain last evening. Some areas got a couple of inches, we maybe got 1/2 inch. I guess it all helps but I am going to go out and water the palms again this morning. We cant afford to loose them, kinda expensive to buy!!

It will probably rain tomarrow because we were going to try and take everyone to one of the water parks at WDW for the day because they leave on sunday. We need to come up with a back up plan just in case.
Most activities are outdoors around here, maybe a movie if we can find one we all can go and see. sometimes that is hard to do. Guess I will look today and see what I can find.

Anyone else got plans this weekend??

kathy

I can't believe we were on the second page already. Gosh, gotta be quick around here.

Not much planned for this weekend. Have a party tomorrow and Sunday am locking myself in the house and cleaning all day to get ready for my Mother-In-Law who will be here on Wednesday for a week. Gosh this has been one busy summer.

Kathy and Laura I am so jealous that both of you are going on cruises before ours. Maybe if I change my catagory I can take more than one next year...don't think that would fly with my husband. Oh well, it was a thought :rolleyes1

Well that's all I got. Laura have a wonderful time in WDW next week.
