I feel like an Ohio sports team......
You know, when I lived in Nebraska (up by Norfolk, Johnny Carson's hometown), people did wave and say "hi" whether they knew you or not. On my commute to work, I think every vehicle I met waved. Coming from the Chicago region, that friendliness was sure a breath of fresh air!!!!
I'm sure Melanie can attest to the friendliness of Iowa folk. . .
Speaking of the Wizard of Oz...I remember when it became color. It was hyped up for months. Everyone (that had a color set) were counting down the days to watch it!
Wtg Jeff!....maybe I'll get 15k....at lease Josh didn't get it!!! (kidding, kid...you're ok)
time for the creppy commute...
see ya all later!
WAY TO GO JEFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![]()

Hi All!
I'm home with Jackson today but haven't been on the computer to now. Took him to the doctor and he has an ear infection so got some antibiotics and she said to call Thursday and let her know how he's doing. Poor kid is miserable and not eating much, which is really weird for him.
I'm going to go downstairs and do a little packing while he's sleeping!
Will try to catch up on posts later!
Oh Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuudge. (except I didn't say "fudge" -- you know the rest. . .)I just went to pick up Elizabeth early from her Brownie meeting (Mina is the leader). She's sick now. This same crap happened to us last year...one or the other of us was sick right up until the sailaway party.![]()
It's a good thing you stayed home! Ear infections are miserable!
