When you get online for Disney Worldhttp://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/index?bhcp=1
On the right, you'll see CALENDAR, click on that. November will automatically come up. Find the day you want, then click on that day...any special events, parade times, fireworks will be listed.

As far as showtimes go, most run continously. The only 2 that I can think of that have showtimes are Dream Along With Mickey, in front of the castle, and Storytime with Belle.

Jeff, you have young girls...what is their favorite now. The Dream Along with Mickey might not keep Lily's attention for that long...what do you think?

Oh and the youngest also LOVES the Storytime with Belle. My oldest is already "out" of the princess stage. Breaks my heart. But I think she'll come back to it when she is a little older and can see that it's still "cool" to like the princesses.

I just did that - thanks so much!!!! I never thought to click on the day I wanted...duh!

You know we didn't get to see that show when we were there in August. My youngest LOVED the Cinderellabration that used to be the castle show and at 2 1/2 would watch it intently from beginning to end multiple times each trip.

There you go Jen.

Just a quick post. For those of you with girls, I mean princesses - Target has princess stuff in their $1 bins and for boys they have Cars stuff. I pick up little stuff to keep ds busy on the plane and at dinner.

Christine....I just have a few questions....please tell me that you :laundy: them:scared: ....and do you ONLY wear them when flying???

Of course I wash them :rotfl2: I only wear them when I travel on vacation..even by car. They are about 10 years old and about 5 sizes too small but I still wear them:eek:

If you want to decorate a gingerbread house you will need to go to guest services desk and sign up for it. They divide people into different time slots so they all have a table to sit at to decorate.
Your Navigator will tell you about it, but I think you can sign up the first day so you have a good choice of times. Just go to the desk the first day to sign up.

it is one per family and you get to keep and eat it, or give it to a cast member. But you can bring it home. It is illegal to bring them off the ship.

Kathy

Do I need to sign up for the the character breakfast or tea with wendy?

The character breakfast is automatic no need to sign up. It's the morning after you eat in Animators Palate for the first time. I think you have to sign up for Tea.

Just got back from Michael's got lots of stickers for my door. I couldn't find magnetic paper but did find magnetic sheets that you can cut. I also got full sheet white sticky paper that I can just stick to the magnetic sheets. I spent a lot of money so I hope they come out good. I'm not really that creative. I will lay everything out first before I commit to sticking everything on.

Holy SNOW!!!!! You guys have been busy this morning and afternoon!

I just got back from the doctor and also stopped off to pick up some groceries and door sign supplies (have to have my priorities!).

Now I'm on antibiotics and can't have alcohol for a whole five days!!!!!! Oh, the sacrifice!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Gonna go back and catch up.

TTYL!

Cheri: Have you seen the tv show Gene Simmons' Family Jewels? Love it...his kids are great-especially his son...what a riot :rotfl:

Yep! We've watched it -- not religiously, but we do get a kick out of it! :happytv:

Hi Ostwalts!

We are staying at the Royal Plaza on Thanksgiving too and spending that Friday at the park as well...because Lily is three, I'm planning to spend most of our time near the rides she can go on (I ordered the free Disney Maps with the "preschooler" option to help), but I'm hoping Devin & I will get a chance to ride some of the other rides as well (my mom is coming with us and I'm sure at some point she & Lily will want to sit down and rest...that'll be our cue to jump on at least on ride we can't miss). So excited!!!

WDW Question: Does anyone know how much "Mickey Ears" are at WDW? Do they still do the embroidery where they'll put one's name on the hat? If so, how long does it take? Are the ears sold all over the park? If so, where is the best place to buy them (i.e. shortest line/wait time)?

WDW Question #2: Would we do better to order room service and eat at our hotel, or just go straight to WDW in the morning and grab something to eat there? I heard there is a nice shop that sells breakfast items & pastries on Mainstreet?

Are you guys going to try to get there for rope drop? We have never been there that early, but since that will be such a busy day, we are going to try to make it. I am not sure what time we will get to the hotel that Thursday night, but I am guessing arount Midnight or 1:00 am.

I have looked up the bus information on the hotel's web site and it looks like their busses start running one hour before the park opens. Are you guys going to take the bus over?

I think we are going to follow Tour Guide Kathy's advice and head straight for Splash, grab a FP and then hit Big Thunder before the crowd gets crazy.

Hair???? We don need no steekin hair!!!

hey Brantley!...good to see ya, bud....:wave2:
Hi Cheri!! :wave2:

You folks going the World before the cruise are making me jealous. We have annual passes and have gone back and forth as to if we will try to spend a few hours in a park on Friday night after we arrive at MCO. We're staying at the airport Hyatt..so it would be just so easy to just hang out there and relax...but geez...with the MK open til midnight and the chance to go either there or to Epcot for a couple of hours in the evening...we are changing our minds again. We've probably changed our minds about 10 times.

You're makin' me feel like chopped liver!!!:sad1: :sad1: :sad1: :sad1: But I guess I can get over it!
