11/24/07 We are Better Than Leftovers!!! Nana Head reunion Part 3

Us too. We have an old iMac (graphite), a newer imac (the bowling ball version) and I have a NEW imac in my office (with Intel chip) and I have a Powerbook G4.

I have a good friend who works in sales for Apple and he highly recommended the upgrade. Said that some of the features are just too cool and the new capabilities of mac mail make it worth it. I'm just about to hit send to buy the "family pack" upgrade for $199 which will cover every mac in the house.

I have a G5 at work. It's what I need to do my magazines. It is lightning fast and I'm really spoiled.

I have the intel IMac at home and I really like it, but my G5 is faster.

Really? It's only $199 for all of them? I think I'll talk to DH about it.

yep it's 129 for one license and 199 for the "family pack" to upgrade up to five machines.

OMG, I just went and got gas. First of all, I paid $3.09 . Second, IT IS SO FREAKIN' COLD OUT THERE! Incredible wind gusts ... bout froze my patootie off (a girl can wish)! Albuquerque's looking pretty darn good for a couple of days ...

Talent, I am a great baker since my pre-school day when I was already baking breads, cinnamon rolls, cakes and more. I also love to camp, and hike and ride our quads.

Movies, oh, there are so many to pick from
comedy: I love Gone Fishing with Joe Pesci and Danny Glover and The 3 Amigos.
Drama, I dont watch much serious movies, I like comedies, but I guess Patch Adams was good but too sad to watch more than once. The Interpreter was very good too.

Hey guys,

Checking in from work again. Not getting much done, except for watching Disney Cruise videos on You Tube!!!

For a hobby, I will have to go along with Jeff. For the past 3 years it has been planning our Disney vacations. Which has lead to vast amounts of time on the Disboards!!!!

Favorite Movies, hmmmm,
Drama: Cool Hand Luke and Shawshank Redemption are both pretty good.
Comedy: I love the National Lampoon Vacations, but they are slightly edged out by the original Smokey and the Bandit. I love Jackie Gleason in that.

Indeed. I just came back from picking Elizabeth up from a sleepover party (they were off school yesterday and today) and there were S*** flurries. Now I miss the days of glamourous business travel. Almost.

proud dad moment - Had our teacher conference yesterday afternoon and Elizabeth is doing great. Straight A's again. She's off school today too and I was thinking of taking her to see a movie but don't know if we can squeeze it in before her dance class.
