Funny story...Ken has this CRAZY family. When I first met them, he stood behind them and mouthed, "I'm adopted!" Try not to crack up in the future in laws faces! Then, my FIL told me I was bossy. Imagine that!

Evening all,
My cough has gotten worse so they have postponed my teeth extraction until the 26th... SH**!
Oh well, just sipped a dose of cough syrup with codiene soI will be snoring within the hour.
As for the Grand Floridian.. here's my opinion-
I love the FEEL of it! Get a glass of wine and sit in the lobby and enjoy the music being played by the orchestra onthe balcony. Enjoy the terrycloth robes fromthe room(request them for the kids, too if you want!) Lie on the beach or enjoy a quiet pool/hot tub. Grab the boat over to MK- I like it better tahn the monorail.
Narcoossee's is our favorite "special " place to eat of all and if you are there you can watch the fireworks-
Service is NOT the AllStars attitutde but when you want something special(we took my mom there for her 70th B-day, had a special cake delivered to the room and it came on a silver tray!) there is nothing like the Grand!
Rachel says staying there makes her feel like a princess!
Never felt stuffy, just special!
There you go... love the Grand! ANy special questions, just let me know!

I'm ready to pack!!! Yesterday, I went to Target to buy any toiletries we'd need so I can pack all that stuff now instead of waiting to pack it at the last minute (as Bill is in the background saying, "I thought you've been packing for weeks.. .").

So I bought everything for the trip, but forgot shampoo for the here and now! Oh well, I grabbed a tube of the shampoo from last year's cruise. Not necessarily my first choice, but it has Mickey and the DCL logo on it and THAT makes it good! It's almost as if I'm on the cruise in a MUCH larger shower & bathroom!!!!

While we're on this subject, I found the conditioner they supplied us to be quite adequate. I also liked the body butter. I mention this because normally I have to pack a bunch of extra conditioner & lotion because the stuff in many hotels doesn't do the job. I think I'll bring much smaller quantities (if any) this year.

I used to date a guy named Ed. His nickname was Special Ed. It fit.
