It is a yucky day here today...getting the leftovers of tropical storm Gabriel.

Sorry about your nasty weather! It's quite beautiful here today. Low 70's and sunny. If I felt better I'd be taking a walk, hoping I'll be up for it tomorrow!

I am asking for prayers for my 5 year old grandson. I just got a call and he is being rushed to the hospital right now with a bad reaction to a shot. My daughter said the doctor said it is a really bad one . He already has medical issues to deal with besdies this.

It will be hours before we know how he is doing. She said it was very serious.

Dear Lord, Please be with Kathy's grandson, give the doctor's knowledge and experience to deal quickly and effectively with his medical issues. Please also be with his family to console them with the knowledge that they are never alone especially during their time of need. In Jesus name, Amen.

Bit of a bright note: Jacob was one of four out of seventeen that will advance to the schoolwide election for VP of the SCA. He was soooooooooo excited

About the Margarita/Beer/Wine tastings. Do you have to wait until the morning of to get tickets? If yes, how early should you get them?

Thankyou everyone for your prayers, they worked!!!

Rachel just called and as they were examining Christian at the hospital in the blink of an eye the symptoms disappeared. he had seizure like symptons, and fever, nausea,lathargic and disoriented, they all just up and left. I know why, the power of prayer.

He wanted cereal and sat down and ate 2 bowls of cereal and 2 pieces of pizza. He is playing like nothing ever happened. Doctor thought it was the Polio vacine he received today. he got 3 shots.

Thanks again for the prayers, we truly appreciate it, I need to take some excedrin, catch everyone tomarrow

Kim: I don't remember, but I think we did our tickets for the tastings the morning of. Hey, have you seen any tourism ads for Akron lately?

We've had meetings wall-to-wall for the last 2 days which is why I haven't had a minute to even post. Thankfully, that's all over and I can get back to the important stuff while I'm at work ... DIS-ing!!!

OK, so ... who has their regional gift picked out? WE DO! Can't wait for the meet and gift exchange. It is sooooo much fun! (Jeff, so help me, after Sunday's whoopin', I'd better not see a Terrible Towel anywhere near the ship!)

Let's see ... what else ... hmmmmm ... well, I bought new glasses .. $451!! For glasses!!! That I don't wear all the time! What's up with that? AND I got the cutest shoes ever for the trip. Be prepared to be green with envy And yes, as Cheri pointed out, they did end up costing more than the dress, but that was inevitable I guess when you got the deal of the century.

That's all for here ... have a great evening. The weekend's just around the corner. Oh geez ... that reminds me ... I have an anniversary and a birthday to buy for! Guess I better get on that!

Great news, Kathy! Glad to hear things turned out well...what a relief.

Shell-I found some great dress deals this past weekend, too. Macy's had a great sale where things were marked 75% off, then another half off of that, plus another $10 off when you spent $25. It was crazy! I ended up getting some cute dresses for $4.50 each!! No luck in the shoe department though.

We ended up booking the Buck Island catamaran sail & snorkel for St. Thomas because the Doubloon was already full. I'll keep checking to see if something opens up since the pirate ship seems like it would be more fun for Jason. He's really excited about snorkeling and has been practicing in his uncle's pool so I hope he actually does it in the ocean.

I feel your frustrations about the age requirements for excursions. There are several excursions we would like to do but we don't meet the minimum age. Oh well. What I don't understand is why some snorkel tours are age 5 and others are age 8.

First of all, Kathy I am glad your grandson is doing well. We will keep him in our prayers as well.

Second of all, just so I don't catch that whip too badly, we have recruited another family to join in!!!!!!!! The Phillips family, our close friends, have booked and will be going as well. I will try to get them to post on here as well and introduce themselves.

Only 72 days???!!! Wow, that will be here before you know it. Can't wait
