mmmmmm ... laced with Stoli vanilla ........

(when did I revert back to my college drinking days? I think all of you are a bad influence on me! :rolleyes1 )

Oh yeah... it's us... we're the ones...

I'm picturing you with a syringe trying to insert vodka into a Mickey bar?...

Let's talk about attire...Judy and I are scaling down the formal wear...last year, DH and I went to Topsider's for semiformal because we were to laid back to get all dressed up. We'll definitely make it to formal night, but we're not as "we have to dress up" as we used to be. :confused3 I've bought the Space bag hanging bags for our hanging clothes on the ship...they have long "extra large" bags for our dresses. Very cool.

Do they dress up more on the 7 days? Because on the wonder only some of the people were dressed formally on formal night. I have lots of formal dresses because our work christmas party is very formal every year, so I've accumulated them. So it's not big deal to bring one. But I'm normally not all dressed up like that with little ones in tow.

Morning everyone,

I did see quite a few dressed up on our last 7 day cruise. We are not big into dressing up so we usually opt for the buffet that night. They have a great menu, fast service, and a nice peaceful atmosphere. It looks really nice with table clothes and dimmed lights.

well today is my packing day. I leave tomarrow for a few days for Oregon.

Josh, this time it is up to you to be keeper of the whip!! :thumbsup2 Keep'em posting while I'm gone.:woohoo: :woohoo: If you need help, ask Bill, not that he would help ya, but ask him anyway. Then you have someone to put the blame on it we dont get enough posts!!

Who has plans for the holiday weekend?? Anybody??:confused3

OMG, I thought posting the picture of my DH once was bad but you guys had to post it several more times:lmao: I really don't think I am going to show him the thread this weekend. It would be funny to see that picture show up on our door during the cruise:rolleyes1

Only plans we have this weekend is to go to the Bellagio on Sunday for brunch and shopping :cool1:

It's way too quiet around here today . You'd think everyone had to go to work or something:lmao:

come on folks, lets get A little chatter going again today.:yay:

Josh, I may have to show you how to use the whip today if it doesnt pick up this afternoon

Time for lunch, I shall return shortly to see if anyone is around:banana:

You know that's gonna happen now!!

I love the Bellagio! I was lucky enough to get to stay there once because my boss paid for it!!

Are the navigators posted somewhere? I'd love to see if I can do a bit of pre-planning. The tree lighting sounds wonderful. On our past cruises we really enjoyed the family disco nite and family games events.

I also love the disney hsm movies and music. I thought the second movie had much better dance sequences. My son is 6 and he and his friends love singing some of the songs and we're waiting in anticipation of reshowing. I know there is a hsm 3 in production but is there a 4th in the makes also?

If you have an email.....I can send them to you...I have them scanned in three big pdf files.

Hi guys -

Just checking in - Booked our stay at the Radisson HOORAY and our flights to Orlando..

Getting close.. can you smell the sea..? :)

Hugs to y'all!

Hi Everyone,
Just had a parent come to me in school today - she has a 10year old son, learning diabled, - and she is planning her first cruise for Dec. 9th of this year and was shocked to see so few rooms were left! Why, she asked, would people plan any earlier than now for Dec? Of couse I smiled a tolerant smile :lmao: and then she asked me to help her plan the trip. :cool1:
She is so excited and I feel like I have a new student in the class of Dis- much more fun to teach than "real school"
Have any of you stayed at the Wilderness Lodge? It is just about the only place that still has rooms other than the Value resorts and she can afford cat.4 on the ship.
Sorry I have been away for a few days, school keeps getting in my way!
Wil be back later................
Judy

I'm surprised you didn't tell her that it would be better to book on the November 24th cruise!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Have fun "teaching"!!!:teacher: :rotfl:

You'll see the whole range of attire -- some will be in tuxes and floor-length gowns and others will be in jeans!

I love dressing up, so I will probably don a long dress and DH will wear a dark suit. DD will probably wear one of her fancy "princess" gowns.

Judy, you are such a Dis salesperson...you should see her work people who are standing in line at the grocery store!:rotfl:

WHY DON'T PEOPLE PLAN????? That's half the fun!!! Wild anticipation just keeps us going to work every day to pay off our DCL habits!

I think the planning is a fun all it's own!!:yay: And it gets so exciting the closer you get!

Besides, it would be a huge disaster if I didn't. :sad2: I truly believe this.

I think I'll bring a formal gown for one night and we'll see how the boys cooperate. I am right now trying to find a toddler suit or dress outfit for Jackson for my brother's wedding Sept. 8. Alex will already have a rented tux because he's in the wedding.

I am also going to try to talk DH into getting our photo taken that night. He usually is against it on principle (professional photographer, why PAY someone else?)

I will be in a full length gown on formal night and a long dress on semi-formal night. I love to dress up:love: My husband will be in a black suit with white shirt and black tie on formal night and the same black suit with a colorful shirt and no tie on semi-formal night. I was going to buy a cheap tux from JC Penny's but it's just too much to pack. I would rent one from the ship but my husband is vertically challenged:eek: (there I go getting myself into more trouble) and I know it would never fit him right.
