I'm starting to feel the Nov. 24th boat is gonna be too crowded. I may just wait for the next one. The dancing pineappleheads has a nice ring to it....yeah. Besides, sounds like they dont allow mutts...only SERVICE mutts onboard.

And I'm takin my monkeys with me...nyah!

My pic of the day ... from downtown Phillipsburg, St. Maarten:

Bill,
love the pineapples!!

Has anyone been to DCL's website lately?
They have added some IPOD braodcasts about the cruise. There are 8 boxes on the main page then they have one about the kids area and the cruise in general in different spots.
They will really make you want to cruise NOW!!!
They even have the sailaway party!:woohoo: :woohoo:
I want to go NOW!!!!!!!

Check it out!!

Has anyone ever done any of the semi submarine excursion? Did you see a lot of fish?? We are thinking about it.

Kathy

Nice photos guys!
I especially liked Josh's of the ship at port!

Here's mine for the day:

Have a good one!

:rotfl2: A silver lining with mouse tracks ...

How's the official cocktail coming along? Oh, and did you like the Java Juice?

For the Newbies ... here's something you probably haven't thought about. I think you'll be very suprised at some of the accents that others on the board have when we get together in a few months. For instance, there's a certain person that posts here on a regular basis, is from northern Illinois, was on the 06 cruise, and sounds something like a character from the movie Fargo :rotfl2: :duck:

I don't know what youze talking aboot.:confused3 :confused3

Hi Nanas!

A cool, cloudy, rainy day here -- almost as if we're in North Dakota!:rotfl:

It's the first day in almost a week that we don't have any plans!:cool1: Friday night we went out for a fish fry with Bill's family (the Tennessee relatives are up visiting the yankees). It was the first time I've ordered a glass of wine and was asked, "Large or small?" (for the record, I went with a large.)

Last night we had everyone here to watch the Cubs (on TiVo) and eat steak dinner.

Today I'm trying to be as unproductive as possible, and so far I'm doing a heckuva job!:yay:

Have a good one!

Cheri

Is everyone asleep this a.m.?

Hardly. I just got home from work. I just LOVE getting up at 5:30A    .

Kathy, I LOVE that bridge. It was so cool to walk on it, perfect place to take a ship photo. Also, you said ipod videos of the ship? Are they live? And what is the website?

Bill, I dont really even think if I'll make to Senior year. I'm just too tired of this "school" fad.

Cant wait to see the ship Saturday morning like my pic shows, right Bill? Nice pineapples by the way. Did they steal the monkey roll?

- Josh

Hi, all,

Loved the CC palm trees and chair pic...now that we've reentered the real world after the Myrtle frozen Mojito weekend, I needed a little magic.   Love those DD's when they grab the blender. Virgin drinks for them, and big girl drinks for Judy and me!:rotfl2:

MB is changing a lot...Hard Rock is opening a new theme park next spring...a big coaster with Led Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love" blasting...sounds familiar, huh??? :confused3 It's going to be outdoors, though.

Maybe, theme park folks will stop there and shorten the lines for us at the World!

Pinapples, Bill???? Geez, you are getting fruitier by the day!

WE just watched the Wonder pull out:woohoo:

Josh, the wall paper picture of the Magic, i believe the dock to be Cozumel. I was just there last month and I swear that was it. Greg noticed it and I'm sure he is right.

well we are about to put a movie on,
catch ya later,

Kathy

Hi all it's good to be back on the boards after a beachy weekend!!! The ocean water is soooo relaxing-aside from the huge waves crashing on your head!!:lmao: :lmao:

Rachel we need to get the picture of our sand art and put it on here!!:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Bill LOVE the Pineapple idea!!! :rotfl:

Well i am exausted so I will go take a nap!!

Good Luck to everyone who is dealing with all the bad weather the US has been having.

Good Sunday evening, Nana Heads

I promised you pics of our masterpiece, and here they are. This is what happens in the Mutt/Woo household when we can't stop thinking about the cruise, are having serious Carribean withdrawals, and, quite frankly, are losing our minds. My friend Wendy in New Orleans had a few choice decorations on her wood fence in her backyard, and I told Bill We need to do something like that. Well, yesterday was the day, and we were at it from about 10am to 2pm, having just an awesome, fun time!

Here's Mutt hard at work ...

And here's our newly decorated backyard fence!

I think that that would be a ten on the creepy scale.
Kathy, thanks for the heads up :thumbsup2 I was trying to figure what port of call we arrived at before dawn...

Sarah, I know exactly what you mean. Every time I go to the beach, I eat sand while I'm body surfing at least once.

Well, today, I've a great pic, and I believe that most of us have been here atleast 7 times during the cruise:

Ahh, good times...

Jeff, I forgot to tell you how lucky you are to be in Florida right now. It is relentless raining here in Pennsylvania. Pittsburg was hit with a yellow cell... and it's headed for us now!

Bill, Shell,
you need to come and work on our fence:thumbsup2
That is AWESOME!!!!!

Josh, we love the buffet too!! That is the first place we go upon boarding and the last place we go before getting off the ship:sad2:

night all,

kathy

Woo/Mutt: Great job! I thought I did a great job with Jacob's room and you've stolen my thunder. I love, love, love flamingos. Could you add one with the mileage to VA Beach? Consider it an engagement gift.........:rotfl:

Here it is: The OFFICIAL NANAHEAD CRUISE Cocktail

I wanted something that would send Pablo back and forth to the bar for hours, wouldn't give me heartburn and consisted of alchohol the ship would be likely to have. So without further ado, I present to you:

"FULL FRONTAL NANITY" ( in honor of my favorite Mutt)

3 oz creme de bananes
2 oz pina colada mix
2 oz Malibu rum
splash of orange juice
can add some grenadine if you like it sweeter, i prefer without

Add ingredients to a shaker with ice, shake (not stir), strain into a glass. Now, close your eyes, take a sip and think "Kim, YOU ROCK girl":rotfl2:

I also tried this frozen and it was good that way too. I personally think frozen drinks take too long to down. LUSH LUSH LUSH:rolleyes1

Now, I know we talked about Godiva making an appearance. All the ones I tried were a little heavy, but I did say I would come up with one so here it is:

"Dream Cream" (feel free to rename this)

1 oz vodka
2 oz Kahlua
2 oz Baileys
2 oz half and half
1/2 banana
1 oz Godiva chocolate
3 ice cubes

Plade ingredients in a blender, pour into a glass and garnish with grated chocolate or cocoa...............

Hope you enjoy! Love you guys............

We got Jackson's passport yesterday!! :cool1: (I didn't see the mail until today.)

We applied the first week in July. So it was only about 6 weeks!!!

I'm shocked! I expected a much longer wait from everything I had been reading.

What a relief! One less thing to worry about!

Just as the astronauts do from space, I am preparing for re-entry into the school scene this morning. Good bye to my summer:teacher:
All day workshop today so I will probably listen intently for about.... 10 minutes... then start making my packing list and to do list for the cruise since this is the big BOOK IT(dano) weekend. Planning on all Palo occasions- Love the Brunch, Really love the Dinner- never done the TEA.
Will also book Capt. Nautica...are we going with that????

Got crazy last night and changed all sound effects on my computer to the Disney horn until the kids started screaming at me so now it is just down to the printing sound. Guess you can get enough of a good thing!
Have a great day- won't be back until late but surely will need some Dis words when I finally get home.

Good morning everyone,

well it is HOT as usual here. I cant wait fo winter to get here!!

Hope everyones week is off to a good start.

Your recipes look great. How many times did you have to sample and change amounts, 3, 4 8 , 10?? That is the best part of creating something right? Samples and more samples until you get it just right:thumbsup2

Kids are back in school today in my neighborhood. I should be hearing the rumble of the school bus going by any minute now.

catch ya later,
Kathy
