Hey, Perrier! Welcome aboard our ship of fools!pirate: We have our own nanahead shirts, so join the fun! My DH and I travel with our 14 year old and friend Judy and her DD's, 13 and 16.princess:

I know you'll find LOTS of friends on board, though. DCL has THE best children's programs.

:welcome: Perrier :welcome:

Happy to have you and your family with us.
We dont have any kids coming with us but many do and I am sure you will find many friends for your kids.

Shell (woogal) is the keeper of our cruise list. She is out of town for a few days but if you send a PM to her and give her all your first names, early ro late dining, where your from, room number, any speical celebrations this trip, just anything you would like to share she will add you to the list and then send you a copy of the list so you can get aquainted with us more easily. Be sure and give her your e-mail for her to send you the list too.

we are having a meet the first day in the Promenade lounge at 2:24 p.m. for everyone to meet:thumbsup2 This worked great for us last year.

also for those who want to we are doing a gift exchange then too.
It is ONE gift per family, NOT per person. It is $ 10 limit and we tend to do a regional gift. Last time many gave a Christmas ornament that represented their area or a regional candy. You can get what you want , we just thought something from each person home area was nice. your welcome to participate too!!

We also have ordered matching t-shirts to wear the first day so we can all spot each other more easily in the terminal and around the ship.

I don't have the web site to order them, but ask Shell when you PM her and she will give you the details if you are interested. Last year I think about 65 of us had them, it was great fun.

I think that is all the important things you have missed so far. That should catch you up without haing to read so many posts:rolleyes1

Looking forward to getting to know you over the next few weeks.
How about a first name to call you too,:dance3:

Anyhoo..........WELCOME Perrier. I have a DS that will turn 10 the day before we cruise.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm, Bill-Shell and I all disappear at the same time. I'll bet everyone's minds were just spinning:rotfl2: I wish a great story to go with that but I was just extremely busy yesterday.

Off to work but will post later. HAVE A GREAT DAY:thumbsup2

Hey Perrier...ummm 1st Welcom and 2nd to answer question about kids..I'm the kid in my family but I'm 13. But my first Cruise was for Disney and I was 7...sooo if anything i know that they should have blast cuz if you wanna drop your kids at the oceaners club the people will just give you a pager and they will have a great time there while you go to do something else. Umm also if they dont wanna go on to the port like i didn't once then the people in the club will take care of them and they will have a blast while you do too. It's great i know from the kids point of veiw!!!:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Welcome Perrier!
I am bringing 2 sons but they are only 4 yrs old and 18 months!
I think there are several people with older kids though. Mine are among the youngest of the bunch. I think my 18 mo. old IS the youngest.

Here's my photo of the day for everyone, it's of the sailaway party.

:grouphug: Welcome Perrier:grouphug:

Not much going on today. It got hot here again 110. Never in my lift did I ever think I would want summer to end but I can't wait for it to be over. I guess that's because our summer starts in March and ends in October. I do miss having four seasons. Well...three for the four, I can do without winter:scared:

Kathy, do we get to make Gingerbread houses on the cruise? This Nov. cruise gets better and better and we aren't even there yet!!!!
Today is Shopping for our mini escape tomorrow to Myrtle Beach, my scapbooking class tonight, then back to school for me on Monday and the kids the following week. Watching the tropics so there are no unwelcome mini breaks due to storms....
Totally decided on Capt. Nautica, however it turns out we will be on the trip. My 16 year old isn't sure about the open water( we only live 10 minutes from the beach :sad2: ) but she says she's willing to give it a try!
We will be taking our own mojito supplies with us to MBeach so the designated driver will be Kayla(16) if we need to go anywhere- hope the weather will be good for beach and shopping.
ta ta for now!

Welcome Perrier!!! I am 14, but my first cruise was when I was 8 or 9!! Your kids will love it:love: !!!! You can leave them in the kids club all day and trust me they will have FUN!! I love the kids club, but this year I will be in the Stack!!:woohoo: Glad to see your excited too.

Well everyone I have to go pack for Myrtle Beach:woohoo: :woohoo: Don't worry Robin and Judy will most likely bring their laptops. Bye everyone!!!

:moped: CHOW!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Yes we do get to decorate gingerbread houses on the cruise. It was such fun. after your done you can take it and eat it or give it to the crew to eat, you cant bring it back home, against the law.
This is oneof those things that when you see it in your navigator it will tell you to sign up at guest services desk for it. You MUST sign up ahead of time or you wont get to do it. they have 2 sessions and both are packed out!!
Just remember to sign up as soon as you see mention of it in the navigator or just go ask the first day at guest services so you wont get left out.
One house per cabin.

Shell,
I hope your coming home soon, your weather is getting nasty there and is going to get much worse very soon!!

Bill,
where did you disappear to? maybe your in the jail house with NObody to bail you out:lmao: or perhaps your working, that would be boring. Hope you have a better story than that;)

Minnie was just baking at out sliding door from outside so I decided to check it out, she rarely barks unless something isnt right. I stepped outside and saw the BIGGST spider I have ever seen!!:scared1: We have some huge ones here but that was enormous!!!
I grabbed a broom outback and was going to stab it with the end of the handle although the body was bigger around than the broom handle. But as soon as I hit it, the egg sack broke and hundreds of baby spiders scattered around by patio area. I ran into the laundry room and grabbed my trusty can of raid and sprayed half the can between the mom and babies. I think I got them all.

Then after a few minutes I had to wash off the patio so the dogs wouldnt get the poison on their feet and then lick it off and get sick.
At least it wasnt a snake, we are loaded wth them too!!

Now I am ready for a nap. I took one yesterday and it helped me to feel better, so I will try it again.;)

Sorry Kathy, but I can never ever visit your house. I hate spiders and would pass out if I saw a snake. How do you live in such conditions????? I think you need to move...NOW:scared:

Kathy,
My son loves spiders. He would have loved that! But he's still sort of scared of them. It's a love/hate relationship.

Good afternoon everyone. Hope everyone is well. Had to pick up some Bailey's and Kahlua. Going to experiment with some ideas I found on line. I hope I don't let you guys down on the drink....................:scared:

So, Christine I loved the picture. I think your husband and mine would get along very well. I think I said that before but I'm more and more convinced all the time;)

I'm hoping Mutt is alright and he's just decided to be rebellious with the whole checking in thing............men are so weird:rotfl2:

Kathy, what kind of weather is Shell in for?

Hi All,

I haven't been on here much but wanted to let you all know that we won't be joining you on 11/24 after all. DD may be heading to Germany for a tap competition the week of Thanksgiving so we switched our cruise to 12/8.

Hope you all have a fantastic sailing and leave everything in tact for when we board two weeks later! ;)

Michele

You have NO idea. The roads are flooded like I've never seen before in my life. Thankfully I'm with someone with a Hummer, so we're able to get thru all this crap. But for now we're hanging out at one of the properties and waiting for some of the rain to let up. This is so not cool!

heri, Jess is lucky she ges another week of freedom. Austin started today, I mean I really don't know how I can have a kid in high school, wasn't I just there myself,at least thats what pablo tells me after mixing my mojito:lmao:

Wendy, I feel your pain....Josh is a senior this year....just got his senior picture proofs in the mail today...will post a few after while....I feel like I just left high school...so I can't figure out how my kid can be a senior :scared:
