:jumping1: Welcome Robin and Family....sorry I'm a little late, I'm on West Coast time party: My DH and I will also be doing the 12 metre Regetta. This will be our first time. We are not very active people so you will problably see us volunteering for something like watchong the cooler:lmao:

Not much going on this weekend. I have my friend's son 1st birthday party tomorrow and of course all of my personal grooming appointments but other than that just hoping to relax a little by the pool. Oh and I also promise to take pictures of our restaurant this weekend.

Here is my picture today, I am going to start showing them in proper order:

Good Morning All-
Been taking care of two DGirls (13-14) who had a sleepover last night and finally went to bed at 2:30- I am sure Chelsea would fit right in! :cool1:
Still looking at snorkling excursion for St. Thomas- Robin is about to slap me silly for agonizing over it so much- has anyone done the Doubloon and it is just too cute for a teenager?- I can feel the eyes rolling already!
Spa mornings are great on Port days and often you can get a better rate- we did a massage at 8ish last year on St. Marteen day, came back at the end of the day for the rainforest part of the deal. FABULOUS:banana:
Off to see my mom and the knee doc- gotta get in shape for the cruise- at least in shape enough to walk the beach at CC!
ta ta for now...
Judy

WELCOME ROBIN AND FAMILY (forgot my manners earlier) :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

A snorkeling excursion is what I'm leaning towards. Does anyone know how they pair you up if you want to golf? My DH would like to do that but I don't know how they pair you up. I'm thinking I'll try and reserve spa time for St. M and snorkel for St. T.:confused3

Have a great time camping. I'm not a big fan of camping myself:eek: I did however LOVE my trip to Lancaster. The outlets were easy without husbands and kids. Good luck with that:rotfl:

Keep the photos coming, don't forget the ones with your FACES...........

ok, Kim.....you asked for it.
I'm sure we've posted the totem pole pic before but here tis again.
Me, Woo and Jess (daughter 'o Cheri)...and thats Treys arm for those of you who were curious.

Oh, I can't WAIT to see those faces in person......... I want to see MORE:yay: :yay: :yay:

How was the sailaway party inside?

I forgot all about the sailaway party bein spoiled by the rain. I still think its funny how insignificant rain becomes when your on a cruise. There's always something to do.

Sailaway party inside was kind of a drag compared to when they do it outside. But it was still exciting and fun for us as we were just embarking on our adventure!

We are sooooooooo slow at work today...can ya tell? One last pic from da mutt.... This one is for everyone that hasn't been on a DCL cruise or hasn't been on one around Christmas-time.

I agree with Jeff,
the inside party is not as good as outside. way too crowded and all they can really do is pipe in music and get the kids to dance some.
Just not the excitement as being on deck with room to move around, characters to entertain you and being able to look over and see us pulling out of the port. Just seeing everyone dancing on deck 9 and 10 gets you so psyched up!!!!! I love the countdown and the streamers they shoot off!!!

I have lots of them in my albums from past cruises.

Kathy

OK you twisted my arm here are some of the deck party outside (before the dumbotron was installed:scared1: )

These only count at one since they are all of the same thing :teeth:

Happy weekend! Everyone has been so funny and welcoming! Can't wait to meet you!

My DH loves the St. Martten 12 metre, but recommends booking the early one...once he barely made it back from the afternoon sailing. It is very rigorous, but you sail actual America's Cup boats...he loved the Stars and Stripes. Maniacs like him volunteer for the major physical stuff like the crank thing...don't know what you call it. He always loves it...last time finished the excursion with plenty of time to meet us in town.

Judy's right...spa bookings on port days are the easiest and cheapest to get. We'll be in there for an 8 AM massage, I bet. I have Disney Visa points and I'm not afraid to use them!

Has anyone used their Dis Rewards on the ship?

Sailaway is, indeed, the BEST way to get in the cruise frame of mind. I need all the pics you can post. The verandah shot was incredible...I'm still living vicariously through that one. Loved the Christmas lobby shot, too. I love the holiday vibe through the ship and on Castaway Cay...have you seen it "snow" there? Very cool...

Judy and I give theme names to our voyages, so we are calling ourselves the Christmas Castaways this year. Our DD's think we are nuts!

And, yes, I'm all about that imaginary world!
