Those who have cruised with me before know I can get really mean if I have to. I will forget to shower, brush my hair and teeth and NO deodorant and then I will become your best friend on the ship. I will be close to you the entire trip I will even ask the dining room manager to seat us at your table

I think its gonna be a nice day today, even with the rain. Besides, our garden needs it. We ALREADY have teenie-tiny little peppers on our plants---not bad for planting less than a month ago.

Glad your feeling better, Kathy.... I'll try and get meaner. I have a few people on my list that I have to get ( the phrase " I'm gonna pop a tooth in your butt" should scare them sufficiently.

) If that doesn't work, I'll send Bob to their houses with the dread locks and tiara on--refer to 08 board, newbies.

Kathy - Glad you are feeling better!

Busy Busy day yesterday. Brownie sleepover for Elizabeth on Friday night. Softball pictures and a game in the morning, then we all went to the pool for a while and out to dinner. Today we are waiting for the rain sort of hoping for it because we have some errands to run and that way no one will be sad about not going to the pool.

I'm trying to finish up a proposal as I have 2 new business meetings tomorrow along with a meeting of a board I am on. Then off to Philly on Tuesday for a day and a half meeting with a client.

I'm ready for another vacation! Still haven't downloaded pics from the WDW trip last weekend, but maybe later today I'll get some time to do it and will post a couple here.

I hear ya, I hear ya! Been super busy here: school started back up 4 weeks ago, doing yardwork, setting up Tyler's pool, trying to rearrange my bedroom, Tyler was invited to tons of birthday parties which I had to drag him to, and just life in general. Trying to find all my summer clothes and will get caught up on laundry this week because Tyler and I are going to Florida 6/9-13. Visiting some friends in Seminole. They were our tablemates on our Sept. '05 cruise, we hit it off (they have a daughter 3 yrs older than Tyler), we stayed in touch, we all met up in Orlando for a weekend last May, we cruised together again Sept. '06, and we' re cruising again May '08 (but without Tyler). For our trip next week, we'll just be staying at their house. Arriving late Saturday evening, Sunday is a BBQ/pool party for their daughter (which reminds me I still have to buy her gift), Monday we'll do Sea World, Tuesday we're doing a 2-hour pirate cruise in Clearwater and then will relax at their house the rest of that evening or head to the beach (they were talking about some luau on the beach that evening near their house).

Holly-You will have to let me know how that pirate crusie is. We wanted to do that in April, but we had bad weather. I hope to take the kids on it next time we are down. Sounds like it will be a fun trip.

Today it is raining here. I am hoping it stops soon. We are off to a barbeque with some old neighbors. Yesterday we had an open house. The kids did a lot of swimming. It was really hot out-but I am NOT complaining!!

I'll try to let you know how it is! I wanted to go on it when I was there in 2000, but the person I was traveling with didn't agree. Can't wait to try it out! Arrrrrr! I'm surprised Tyler hasn't thrown his pirate outfit in his suitcase yet! He usually starts packing at least a week before we travel anywhere. Crazy kid....I'm a "night before" packer. Just throw it all in and go. Hmmm.....that reminds me....I better go pull the suitcases down from the attic. I guess that would explain why Tyler hasn't packed yet.

Has anyone here ever been to Dominica? I'm starting to do some "long-term" planning and that island is one that interests me just because its less commercially developed than some of the others---hell, I might even get to see a monkey in the trees. If anyone has...lemme know.

Favor #2...does anyone know where I can find curacao of curacao...its a liqueur from bitter oranges and as far as I can see, the only way to get a bottle easily is to actually run, fly, swim or cruise to curacao. The trip wouldn't bother me a bit but theres only room for so many vacations in a year. A lil help here please?
