Holly, you need a big dog like that too.....you want to get a lab (jedi wave of the arm)....you need to get a lab......(more Jedi gestures....)

:scared1: NO WAY! I never want any pets because I can't stand the idea of having to clean up poop, pee, and barf. :headache: Imagine the size of those piles a dog that size will leave. :scared: No thanks! ;)

Jeff,
I think Shell needs a puppy worse than Holly does;)

Um....yeah! What she said! :rotfl2:

Hi everyone! I'm Baa-aaack!

Actually, I wasn't really gone, but my computer wouldn't let me get onto DIS.:badpc: :badpc: I could go onto other sites, but not DIS.:confused3

Anyway, all is good here!

We had a busy week with Jessalyn's 6th (or was it 16th??!!) birthday and Mother's Day.

Gotta get the child into bed -- will post again in a bit!

Cheri

Kathy, congrats on the new baby!:cheer2: :cheer2: The fact that you "rescued" her makes it even more special.

Shell & Bill -- Thank you, thank you, thank you for the gift for the princess!princess: princess: The original card you selected was great!:thumbsup2

Jeff, you can adopt me, too!!! I don't have the marketable talents that Bill does, but I won't cause ANY trouble, either!!!:rotfl:

Talk to you later!

Cheri

Morning all,
Cheri,
great to have you posting again.

Jeff that is great that she loves her dance and swimming so much. all those things ill help her self confidence as she grows up and well as the physical activity is awesome. Can't wait for the pictures.

Holly,
Big poop is easier to pick up than small poop. I never worry about thaat, that is what Greg is around for:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
I am a bad mommy saying that. I really apprecite that he picks it up for me.
He does spoil me!!!

see ya later all,

I always find it funny that people without pets but with kids say that. I've watched many a mother clean up LOTS of poop, pee and barf!:lmao:

Loving all the photos! The conversation has gone to the gutter though!

We're going on vacation over Memorial day too - Road trip to Ohio and guess who we'll see there? I'm SO EXCITED!

Hello all.

I have you all beat with beautiful weather. It has hit over 95 for the last seven days:goodvibes Our weather people don't have much to talk about so they give us useless info like this all the time. The weather has really been perfect. Not a cloud in the sky and the forecast for the next week is the same.

I'm getting really excited about my upcoming 4-night cruise. We are going with my sister and her boyfriend (who may be her fiancé by the time we get back:love: he is thinking of proposing on formal night). After the cruise we are going to Disneyland for 2 nights. It's only 30 minutes away from the port; there is no way I can be that close and not go. Not too sure about our itinerary for the cruise right now because there have been lots of fires in California including Catalina, which is our second stop. I don't really care too much about the itinerary, I just want to be on vacation. It has been a rough couple of weeks and I am worried my husband will get Bells Palsy again (which I why I booked the cruise in the first place) I am going vacation shopping on Saturday, one of my most favorite things to do and will start packing this week. We are driving to Long Beach next Sunday and spending the night and will get on the ship on Monday. This will be my sister's first cruise so I am really excited for her. If she likes the cruise, she may get marrired on one next year.

All this cruise planning has gotten me even more excited for my November cruise, which will be my first ever 7-night cruise. I have already started planning my days for it (I bet I'm not the only one:rolleyes:) I have been studying the Navigators. So far I know that I'm doing Palo Brunch on Monday, Palo Dinner on Wednesday (we booked the Romance package so I can get the times I want), the Regetta in St Marteen, Capt Nautica in St Thomas, and I want to do the Martini Tasting on Sunday. Does anyone know if you have to get tickets for it? I don't think we will do any spa treatments because we are just not that into the spa. We do get to use the rainforest room as part of our REAS package, but we weren't that impressed with it the last time.

Well, that's it for now...can you tell how excited I am by my long post:dance3: Have a good day everyone

Get to Target now and check out the "dollar store aisle" and find this. It's actually a pet toy for you dog people..but for me it will be the symbol of our upcoming cruise.

BRB ... gotta make a Tar-jay run ... :rotfl:

Hi everyone,

Christine,
it sounds like your all set and ready to go!! Of course you realize I expect a trip report with pictures when you return!!!
95 is hotter thanus. we are upper 80's but many days dont see the sun for the smoke. although today is better. our latest thunderstorm cleaned the air with the rain we got.

Jeff,
you may luck out when you get here, Wendy too. the iar is getting better.
I loved the   toy. Maybe sweet pea would like one. guess i will check it out, next time I go out.

well off to take the doggies outside for a potty break, then to give pup her medicine. that will be a real challenge!!

have a great evening all,

I always find it funny that people without pets but with kids say that. I've watched many a mother clean up LOTS of poop, pee and barf!:lmao:
BUT I only had to clean pee and poop for 2 years. I absolutely hated that phase, but at least it's done. You have to clean up after pets their whole lives. Now, if I could train a pet to use the toilet, I'd be happy to have a whole bunch! :rotfl:

Even here not every Target had them. They have a bunch of monkey stuff (hey Bill) at all the local stores..but one in particular had the banana heads - $2.50.

We saw the monkey stuff. Cute! There are 2 more Targets in town I can check for bananas. :thumbsup2

I have 2 Targets fairly close and will check them out soon . I would love to have a banana too!!
But it will be a few days because I cant leave the dogs alone yet.

No accidents yesterday, had vet appointment for bloody stool and got meds to help for pup. Last night she slept through the night with No crying. So everyone got a good nights sleep.

well off to take Minnie for her walk.I have to find a different name for puppy because greg and I have called Minnie sweet pea now and then too when we cuddle with her, so that would cause confusion.

I am considering 3 names. Daisy(donald girlfriend), Pluto ( I know she is a girl, but she wont know), Pixie, Belle.

I need to decide by tomarrow so we can start getting her use to her name.

Have a great day everyone,
Kathy

Hey Kathy....my vote is for Lu---- oh wait, shes a happy pup. PLUTO! PLUTO is my vote!

Hope everyones having a great day!

pluto: can I be the dogfather?

Boy my tootsies are tired!!

it takes a lot of work to tip toe around the doggie poo all day.:lmao:
Only one accident inside today. I was very impressed!!
I have to take her out every 30 minutes all day long. she is too young to train any other way at this point.
I think she is getting the idea that she is suppose to go when we go out. But doesnt get the idea that she is NOT suppose to go in the house yet.

well off to do the 30 minute walk.

Bill you can be the "Dogfather".

But you do realize you will have certain responsibilities as the Dogfather??

Ohhh Ohhh Kathy, can I be her dogmother? I am coming to visit Florida soon. Is her dogfather. I am a great Nanny(what we call our godmothers down here) just ask my 2 adorable goddaughters.

Well Austin graduated from middle school today and we just got back home, it was great but strange, I mean he has been at this school since he was years old and now we won't be going back.

Shell, you will love this, today at lunch I told Austin " We leave for Disney 2 weeks from tomorrow, then once we get home we only have a month til we go to DC and he says mom you forgot once we get home Aunt Woo will be here 2 weeks later, thats better than DC"
