Christine,
You will haver a pass good until 7/10/07:thumbsup2 But then you will have to post, at least to give us an update on the restaurant.

Have fun with it. I loved decorating my little pizza place when I had it.
greg remodeled the inside for me.

I do know how much work it can be.

Good luck,

are we all invited for a free meal on opening night???

kathy

good evenin'!

Christine, good luck with the restaurant! Glad to hear opening day is coming up soon!:thumbsup2

I TiVo'd the DCL episode on the Travel Channel. Haven't had a chance to watch it yet. Maybe tomorrow. . .

Well, off to locate my cat Doc who is still outside. . .

Have a great evening (what's left of it!)!

Cheri

Morning all,

Well it is a quiet morning around here.

Not going to get as hot today. I may even step out to the store this morning.
Lets see a few more posts today, we are finally picking up in our chit chat a bit.:thumbsup2

I'll be back later to check us out,

Kathy

Good morning, Banana Heads

Sorry to have been MIA ... it's been such a busy week at work. I check the boards but with no time to post.

CHERI, Cal isn't coming? I thought for sure he was this time. Oh well ... as long as my Bestest Friend is there  (and her parents)!

That Golden Eagle is a thing of beauty *sigh*

CHRISTINE: How would you like a really cool painting of dogs in gangster outfits for your restaurant? I have quite a few, and can get the artist to sign it for you! (oh Mutt????)

TONYA: Judy was asking about snorkling excursions on St. Thomas. You guys did that, didn't you? Isn't that where you saw the sea turtle? Which one did you take and how was it?

KATHY, how big has Pixie gotten? Is she growing into those feet yet? :lmao:

Ron, you need someone to run interference for ya.... I bet if I attach a mojito to a sea turtles back I can get my wife to follow it---java juice would work too (I have no doubt she actually HEARD me type that.

:listen: :dance3:

that woman of mine sure got chatty.....

I had a dream about a bananahead reunion last night. Amazing how strange the mind of mutt works (ask woo, she suffers through all of my wacky visions). The things I remember are Kathy and Greg having drinks with Jan and Dave, Esther (angry cuban for the newbies) in a yellow t-shirt sporting the chiquita logo---(actually thats a pretty cool idea) and me chatting with Dave (of the Dave/Renee duo). Stranger and stranger....

Btw Kathy...I am NOT obsessed.....I think we cleared that up on the last board. I have to go now, I hear the mailman. Since disney won't send me some reminderaboutthecruise stuff, I took the liberty of ordering a couple t-shirts from St. Johns ecotours---one way or another, somethings coming to me from the Caribbean (I asked the nice lady who took the order if she'd put a little bag of sand in the package for me---her response was " Ay tink we can man-ah-ge that....hahaha).

Not obsessed....NOT!

OH Gosh yes. The Captain Nautica Speed Boat snorkeling cruise is the crap. (sorry family board) They took us to shipwreck cove and turtle cove. If you don't mind deep water its the thing for you. The turtles were Unbelievable. I was in AWWW. It was raining that morning and I swear the animals didn't even know we were there. Since you take speed boats you are the first people to the area to snorkel. By the time you get done at Turtle they pop you over to ship wreck cove. The guides are great and give you ALOT of attention. The snacks were shrimp and fruit served with juice or water. After the snorkeling if they have time, they take you back to the harbor and give you a sightseeing tour of the harbor. You will learn a lot and make sure to take a tip and $20 bucks for a t-shirt. It was really worth it and I would do it again in a heart beat.

I would suggest going to an open air restaurant in the harbor. (Close to Wendy's) There is a great little place that had some kind of lobster that was to die for. While Disney's food is great and the service is better than everyone elses, it was still nice to eat while off the boat. Kind of made it all real.

Ok that is my 2 cents this morning. I hope that answered your questions. Still trying to convince my Husband that we need to go in November, for some reason he wants for furnish the house, darn him. I could sit on exercise balls for a year if I could go on the cruise with you guys. Somebody talk to him.

Love ya all.

Tonya, I have a 35-year-old couch and 2 beat-up recliners in my garage that are all yours if that helps ...

Morning to you all...

It is so great to talk to Disney people first thing in the morning- By co-traveling family and my family spend lots of time together ohhhing over the Disney stuff we see but really wish we were on the Magic right now!

As each post is added, I change my mind about what to do in St. Johns. So keep up those reviews and posts, I love reading them. Tomorrow is the last day of school for me, the kids are out and at the beach... can't wait to join them !

Shell,
Pixie goes in Friday and I will let you now how many pounds she has gained.
She is a few inches taller because she cant walk nder the cofee table anymore. She still looks like she is all legs and feet.
Taken 2 days ago notice the feet are still huge:eek:

Greetings to all. Not much to report here. The US Open takes place here in Pittsburgh over the weekend but I am not a golf fan so I won't be attending. Elizabeth's first swim meet is tomorrow night. I'm already nervous! Have a great Wednesday everyone.
jeff

Good evening everyone,

we just missed a really nasty thunderstorm. I am really glad it missed us. It was a nasty one!!

Pretty quiet day aorund here today.

Jeff, you'll love the swim meet. Elizabeth will have a blast.:thumbsup2
Plus it is good for her physically and you wont have to worry about her falling into a pool and not knowing how to swim.

well i made waffles with blueberry compote with whipped topping for dinner.
I like to throw'em a curve once in awhile. It is too easy to get bored with the same old things for dinner.

kathy

Just a quick good morning before I head out early today.
I hope to see lots of posts when I return this afternoon.:thumbsup2

If I dont you may see a few BAD jokes coming your way again:lmao:

later,

kathy

What is the earliest you can get to the port. I know I have read it here before but can't remember if it is 10 a.m. or something else.

Also, has anyone had a good experience with a car service? We had a terrible ride back with "happy Limo" last time and we may forgo the Disney Bus for a van/limo this time so I'm looking for recommendations.

Anyone who was at the Hyatt with us....how early did you get on the bus?

Well, if you're Kathy or Wendy, you greet the employees on their way in to work at some ungodly hour ... :rotfl2:.

I think we got there around 10 am, Jeff, and most of you were already there waiting. Didn't we get on the ship around 11?

No such thing as dumb CRUISE questions, Jeff... I thought it was closer to noon but I'm gonna wave myself off and let Kathy field that one (always go with the experts).

I GOT A PACKAGE FROM ST. JOHNS TODAY!!!!!! (they forgot my bag o' sand, though)

Well, thats it from here....I just wanted to post to keep Kathys whip and jokes from wailing on me.

Have a good day, everyone!

Hi Jeff,

Check with Lynn. I think she was on the first bus out.

We were on #3 (appropriately named Goofy!) because DH wanted to hang at the hotel and soak up the only sun we'd see that day! I don't remember what time we arrived, but the check-in lines were super short and there were already lots of nana heads waiting for us!!

I think the first bus was ready to leave around 9:00???:confused3

We're doing the bus again. Too lazy to plan anything else!!:rotfl: :rotfl:

Cheri

We were all sitting around waiting for Bill & Cheri because they had all the booze!

Tonya, I have a 35-year-old couch and 2 beat-up recliners in my garage that are all yours if that helps ...

We've got an extra twin bed and some card tables that should work well with your exercise ball chairs!:lmao:
