Good Morning!!!

Ok. I'm going to try this again. If I'm wrong I'm sure none of you will be shy in correcting me!!!:rotfl2:

It is now 60 days until will sail!! For those arriving the night before, it's 59 days until vacation. 59 days until MVMCP!!!:woohoo: (I referred to the DIS countdown clock for these figures. I double checked to make sure I was looking in the right column).

We're cool.:cool2:

Judy

Suzanne - Since it's so new, I would think HSM 3 would be showing. I never have gone to the Walt Disney Theater to see a movie. I'm so afraid I'm going to miss something in the ocean or on board!

:cheer2: Happy 22nd everyone!!!! :cheer2:

Judy--I think your numbers are right. My cruise countdown says, 61 days, 4 hours, 35 minutes.

Great price on the bracelets. We'll take 5 adults, 1 child, 1 toddler. Someone had suggested sending a self-addressed stamped envelope along with the bracelet money, would that be easiest, or do you want to do PayPal?

Camping was great, the weather was perfect, highs in the upper 70s lows in the 50s. We got a Burley cart for the little one so he could go on bike rides too. The weekend was way too short.

Judy,

I come up with 61 days. It really should be 60 since I imagine that my last day of work my body will be there, but my mind will be drinking a Crown and Coke at the saileaway party. Either way it is a LOT closer than the 798 days from when we booked this thing onboard in 2006. I have no idea how I made it this long without going crazy!

GO BUCS!

GO BUCS!

I'll second that.

Anyone else already planning to rebook on board? We really saved a lot by booking this cruise while on our last.

I wish we were, but it was hard enough talking DH into this third DCL cruise. He and the rest of our families (except DS and me) want to do something else next time. :sad1: :sad1: :sad1: So this may be my last Disney cruise. :guilty:

We wont be booking onboard this time. Going to the mountains next year. :confused3

I know a couple of cruises ago, we actually had some friends to the booking onboard for us. We gave them all of our pertinent info, and they did the booking for us. We were not even on the crise with them when they did it. I don't know if is allowed, but we got away with it.

We're looking to book for 2010. I wonder if we can do that for our friends who plan to do their first DCL cruise then. :confused3

I'm stickin' with my figures, I like them better!! Are you counting the day we sail as a day? I don't think the DIS countdown counts that day. That's probably why we have different numbers.
I would love to book another cruise on board. I think the best way for me to do that would be to get Tim drunk. I would be able to talk him into it if he had a few beers in him! :drinking1

Look what I found! I'm hoping it will work. I'll probably crop out the other guy.

Sandy..looks good!!! If it's easier to do Rafiki..that would work out great too!!
Thank you!!!

Suzanne, did you tell me which Tink design you wanted? I can't remember. Do you want any other names?

If you need help getting someone drunk to do crazy things, I am always in for that. You dont even have to ask, I'll just show up!

I have no idea what days I am counting . . . . some internet site I found. I hope it's right, I use it to fill in the blanks on government contracts. Either way, we are T minus 2 months and counting. A LOT better than the T minus 2 YEARS and counting when we signed up.

We are really getting excited about the trip and meeting everybody! I will finally be able to put my Fish Extender to use.

Sandy...I like the Purple background one. I think that's it for now.

Ken - you can fill in the blanks on government contracts with anything. Do they really pay attention?
This is scary! Nothing too crazy Ken - just talk him into either joining DVC or moving to Florida! We just got back from our favorite bar/restaurant and we were talking about moving with our friend Dougie. Tim told him he is too afraid of "strong winds that blow you away" and that's why he won't move south. But he'll put up with snow, ice and sub zero temps. Wait till we get our first gas bill this winter and maybe he'll change his mind.

I've been obsessing on this trip a lot lately. I guess I've been talking about it so much that yesterday Tim and Ian told me to stop! I didn't talk to them for several hours I was so mad. So I sat in the dining room by myself and glued more sequins and sequin bubbles on my FE! I have this idea to buy battery powered twinkle lights and put those on her too! I wonder what security at the airport will think when they open my suitcase because they see wires and batteries and find the bottom half of a mermaid with Christmas lights!

That's hilarious!:lmao: Maybe I'll try to get Brian drunk too so we can rebook onboard.:confused3 The funny thing is that if he wanted me to drink with him, I'd be completely smashed after only a couple of drinks and then I'd forget why I was trying to get him drunk in the first place. I might jump overboard or something stupid like that, so I think I'll avoid getting drunk on this cruise. It might be great entertainment for you fellow DISers though.:rotfl:

I've edited this to add: I think I'll try a completely different approach--I'll just go rebook onboard and not tell him. I'll surprise him when we get home. He'd LOVE that (insert winking smilie here)!

You can get drunk too. Just write down what you want to say before you drink. Then you can have a cheat sheet to refer to. We'll sit with you and not let you go over the rails!
I also like your idea of Surprise! How about "Merry Christmas, Honey! Look what I got you! I hope you like it, I know it will fit!" :lmao: :santa:

I like your last idea--a Christmas present. Heck, maybe that will be what my whole family gets for Christmas. That would make shopping easy!;) I'm not sure how they would all feel about it, but I'd be just fine with it. I think I'll pass on being drunk on the ship. I'm a LOUD drunk, so I want to spare myself the embarrassment since I'll be around my fellow DISers.:rotfl: You'd all know who Disneypoor was if I was drunk--I can guarantee that!:lmao:

When we did it, we were already in the repeat cruiser catagory. However, my friends were rebooking themselves while onboard and just booked a second cabin for us (with our credit card number - They are lawyers, I trust them with that sort of thing). We actually ended up changing the reservation down the line, but that was not a problem either.

The rest of the story is the ONLY reason they went on this particular 3 night cruise was to re-book while onboard and get the discount. THey stayed in a cat 9, fairly cheap and the 10% savings of re-booking a cat 4 on board for a 7 day paid for the 3 day cruise. Like I said, they are lawyers.

You buy the first couple of rounds, and I'll close the deal.

I had my ultrasound this morning. The news: It's a boy!!! Due on Friday the 13th :scared1: (of March) . I haven't done the date calculation to see if I'm cruising legally or not, since I have my signed paper, I'm choosing to remain ignorant.

We're unsure about rebooking on board. The older two want to try Royal Caribbean. They don't have a Flounder's though, and kids have to be 1yo before you can do in-room babysitting. So that puts us sometime after mid-March of 2010, after all the holidays and spring break. That means pulling two high schoolers out of school for a week. They always have short weeks in November and February, and a week in March. They only get Good Friday for Easter. I refuse to go on a cruise in summer. I don't want to leave really hot weather for more really hot weather. It's much better to go when the weather is yucky here.
