Those pick up times are fine - UNLESS you get hit with the shuttle launch that day. Shirley (from the Perfect Gift) usually posts instructions on the cruise forum as soon as a launch is confirmed.

You know? Somethi8ng just occurred to me. Gayle, are YOU on the secret mickey list? How are you going to keep from knowing who your secret "giver" is???

Great minds think alike. I was just wondering the same thing the other day.

Our family isn't doing the secret mickey or fish extenders so do I need to update the link for the personal navigators?:confused3 Let me know:hug:

No, you don't need to update if you're not doing the FE or SM. Except, we had planned on Ding-Dong-Dashing you a few times, so you may want to update (or not) after all. :lmao:

The Happy Limo bus will pick us up at POFQ also at 9!! We aren't planning a stop along the way. But, we have about 25 people to load and their suitcases. I hope to be able to leave before 9:30. We would like to be at the terminal between 10 and 10:30. My DDIL really wants the #2 Boarding Pass. If we don't get it, I hope that whoever gets it will let her have her picture taken with it!!:goodvibes
Barbara

LOL! Last year my SIL sailed in October and DCL never collected her #2 boarding pass. She let me use it for our cruise in December. It was great to be able to relax and not worry about getting to the port first. Unfortunately they DID collect it from me when we boarded so I didn't get to keep it as a souvenir.

Congrats to all the others who have been Pixie Dusted. Hey KC, looks like all that extra cash you have been slipping the Mickster has paid off.

I was on the NASA website the other day and noticed the scheduled launch for the 12th as well. We will be at WDW that day, in fact it is just before we head to the park for MVMCP. I'm thinking that the observation lounge at the top of Bay Lake Tower would be a pretty cool vantage point.

We are going with plan B for after the cruise. First option was flying home on Saturday afternoon, but that would mean getting into Edmonton too late and having to stay there overnight. I'd rather stay an extra night in Florida, thanks. So we are staying at the Hyatt at MCO on Saturday night and flying out early Sunday. So right now the plan for post-cruise is to grab a rental car for the day and hit Kennedy Space Centre, then drop the car off at MCO that night. Turns out we can do that cheaper than Mickey's Bus back to the airport.

We'll be doing the same thing too. We'll be at KSC on Saturday and then spending the night at the Fairfield Inn by the airport. We'll drop off the rental car at the airport Sunday morning before we fly out.

GOOD MORNING! Time to rise and shine gang! I'm headed out to the pool and gym. More shopping today and lunch with a friend. Have a good one!

I prob missed it somewhere in the thousands of posts we have:laughing:

but, what is so special about the #2 boarding pass:confused3

I honestly don't know?????

I would think the #1 is the one to get, but maybe that's reserved for mickey.

I believe it's the first boarding pass number non-concierge travellers can have.

#1 is concierge.

But you know what? The difference between 2 and 6 is like 10 minutes or less. The 80% of cruisers who don't read the DIS won't know they should turn right in the atrium and go directly to the palo reservation table, so even if you get a higher number, do not despair!

Found 3 pairs of New shorts for $4.00 per pair today. I am happy.

Sweet!!

My menopausal hormones have decided to cooperate for the first time in years, so I actually lost over 10 pounds this past month. That makes 22 pounds since April 15th! Glad I took a leap of faith and bought a couple of skorts and capris in a size smaller on sale from Lands End at the end of August.

OMG Kevin, you so crack me up. :rotfl: Oh yeah, my family can testify about the crazy lady living with them who has been impersonating their wife and mother for a few years. :furious:  They keep checking under the bed for pods, but, alas, she is me.

Does anyone know if you can ship a box from the Magic?

I was thinking of shipping a box to the stateroom. However, I never have more room in my suitcase on the way home, so I was wondering if like at a hotel you could arrange to ship a box back to your house.

Thanks!

I don't think so, but I know that Shirley from the Perfect Gift has posted somewhere here on the boards that there is a shipping store very close to the port. Here's her helpful information thread. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1520273

I have mailed my Christmas cards from the magic. My guess is - if you have a prepaid flatrate priority mail box that they *could* ship it for you. Alternatively, if you have such a prepaid box and you knew someone who was driving, perhaps *they* could mail it for you. I know someone with a red van and two teddy bears who *might* be willing to do such a thing.

You are SO dead, Kevin!:lmao: But, rest assured - there IS light at the other end of the tunnel, for both of you.

Congratulations on your loss, Mousemom!
