Oh, KC.... I was talking to Mickey today and he said something about a meeting here in Tallahassee. What was he talking about anyway? He knows I'll be down there next week, right?

You people just crack me up. We are going to have so much fun sailing together.

I took one for the team today and went to the state fair, where I did not think about Palo brunch ressies, FE gifts, or Pirate Night attire at all. Instead, we went on rides, ate onion burgers, funnel cakes, curly fries, sno kones and I can't remember what else, looked at all the animals and crafts, and played carnival games (I won the water shooting contest!).

Rats, back to the real world tomorrow. The girls start school on Monday, so between now and then I get to label all their school supplies. What fun!

Oh, and KC, the Mickster left me a message today, something about wild, expensive parties at your house while Denise is in Orlando, but not to tell her. Shhh. Mum's the word.

Yes, it's true that Mickey was in Tally today. He ambushed me over at my bank. He was there to transfer my (meager) accounts and needed me to sign some papers. Other than that messy money feud, we are getting along really well.

We talk about everything; from where he banks, and hence me (for easier transfers), sports, which of my cruise buddies should get upgrades, to how to have a good time when your date goes home early (poor fella, all his end early, go figure). It turns out that ALL the princesses can fit in the Mic's limo, and they are always looking for fellow royals to party with. So I guess they will be stopping by from time to time.

In re the upgrades, I told him I'd have to get back to him on this as I wanted to see how many new 'club' members there are .

Good Morning, Everybody! Early shift, checking in! I am SO excited - Only two more months - well, and a few days. Mickey never comes to NY State. Probably because he'd freeze his tail off. It's 57 here this morning.

Definitely too cold for Mickey. And for me too! My MIL is trying to decide if she's going to move to Orlando with us or to NY with my SIL. I reminded her that it gets COLD in NY and she's quite happily considering Orlando now.

Good morning all - it was a chilly 46 here this morning but the sun is starting to peak though and we aer supposed to get up to about 70. Chilly, rainy weekend coming though. Oh what fun that will be.

Sounds like you had fun. Theres nothing like a state fair. They have something up here called the Big E,which is a combo state fair of New England
states.

61 degrees here and getting ready for another wet weekend.

I lived in NY, most of my life before CT, so I vote FL, but I must say NY is beautuful.

Yikes! Being from NY (suburb of NYC) and Boston then moving to Atlanta, I sure don't miss the cold. The first year down here, I think there was a winter day that was in the 60's so we thought it was great weather, bundled up my DS and went rolling down the hill (other folks around us thought we were nuts). Now fast forward 7 years, I wear jeans in mid 80's and 90's weather and we can actually be "okay" visiting WDW in July or August.

Sigh, another day. The mega millions of $352M is tonight. Just dreamin about a home in Kissimmee (lucky hypermommy and kc) and getting on the next dcl cruise out.

today is my 3 year anniversary of quitting smoking!!!!

My youngest DD gave me the motivation to quit when she looked up at me adoringly and said "Mommy, when I grow up, I'm going to smoke JUST LIKE YOU". Well, crap, don't you hate it when you have to suck it up and be a responsible parent? But, now that I'm free of the addiction, I must say that I am SO glad that I quit. Now I can spend my money on Disney, so the Mickster's happy too.

I still remember as a child begging my mom to quit and the horrible feeling I felt until she did. And the relief that came with her quiting.

Congratulations!! I know how hard quitting smoking can be, having done the same thing myself (over 23 years ago, mind you).

More money for the Mouse, indeed! And you thought smoking was a tough addiction to kick...

I quit for 10 months one time and got over the physical cravings pretty well. But then I was at an Oktoberfest and I decided to have just one. Famous last words right? Well, after a couple of days of arguing with myself I decided I'd rather be a smoker than schizophrenic.

You should be very, very proud of yourself. That's a hard monkey to kick off your back and you've kept him kicked off!!!!!!

Congratulations on quitting, Mousemom! That's WONDERFUL! You have a smart child.

We don't know any smokers, anymore. Nearly everyone we know smoked at one time but quit. My dh was skiing in Switzerland in the late 70s and he got to the top of the Kleine Matterhorn gondola and couldn't breathe. He threw his smokes over the side and never looked back. My quit wasn't so dramatic. I just stopped, also about 30 years ago.
