Chankanaab Park in Cozumel
Is anyone going to Chankanaab Park in Cozumel and not doing the Dolphins thing? DH wants to do a dive while DD and I are at the Dolphins Encounter. Aqua Adventures rents scuba equipment to certified divers and provides a divemaster to lead a dive at the cavern of la Quebrada cave for $40 US. Just wanted to see if I can find company for DH.

My DH would probably be interested. However, it depends on the dive schedule. We're doing the Royal Swim at 11, so he'd be available after that's over. What time was your DH thinking about doing the dive?

New Cruise Business:

Hello everyone,

I need one stateroom per deck to hang a message board on your door. This will be the go to point for people in case there are any changes or information we need to get to the group once we are all on board. Your room number and name will be listed on the inside of the front cover of the Mini-Navigator. I will provide the boards and you will get to keep them! They will have a watermark of our logo and your choice of disboard name or family name. You may get a phone call or message from one of us to update some information, but its more likely we will update it in person.

Sounds like a good idea. We always bring a bunch of books so we'd be happy to share. DD6 usually reads a lot, but she may be too distracted/over stimulated when she's onboard... Also, the lanyard looks great. I'll check with DH to see if we want to participate.

That's exactly what we were planning, doing chankanaab on our own. Our TA, inkkognito, thought it would be easy enough to do, even for first timers. We were planning on taking a cab there, bring our own snorkling gear. And probably visit the nature and animal stuff... As well as the beach and pool. But I don't we were going to the dive.

Regarding the Lanyard Team, WOW what a great response!!! GoMagic will be getting the Fish Extender for her AWESOME Donation!! I can tell you now that we will be getting the custome lanyards!!!!

Great. I talked to my DH and he is definitely interested, so let us know what you find out. He will have his own snorkle and mask, but will need to rent the rest of the gear.

Double Dip Delight works for me (actually the other one does too, but it sounds more like a drink than ice cream and I like ice cream better!)

I added a column to the secret mickey - "Wish list" because sometimes knowing what people like by way of sports music or movies isn't sufficient to choose a good gift. So, what would you be happy to find in your secret mickey gift? be reasonable, ok? A million dollars and a pink corvette are probably NOT going to happen!

How are the pairings going to be made? Can we request a certain person that we know we can get what they would like? (Sorry to obsess over this - my fe gifts are done and I'm - well, not bored exactly, but "at leisure".

Actually we do get one day on Castaway Cay! It is the 1st stop (on Sunday Aprill 11th)! (Plus I added two days on in Dublin after the ship docks in Barcelona!)

Well, I like "Make Mine a Double" but I understand other folks' objections so whatever the group decides is fine by me (how's that for not being helpful at all!? ) But one thing I did think of is you could put the tagline and "Disney Cruise Line Magic" instead of the date, since the date's in the graphic. Just a suggestion and feel free to file13 it if appropriate.

Well, you bring all that stuff in your suitcase but then it's gone when you head home ... which means there's more room for you to pack souvenirs!!!

Oh, by the way... just in case anyone brings a bottle of wine or gets one in the SM or something... I'm going to bring a corkscrew. Last cruise I was charged a corking fee (was it $15, KC?) for a bottle of wine that never saw the outside of my stateroom! (I had ordered a cheese plate and brought the bottle of wine for the nice DISer that was going to do my hair for formal night -- we had a fun "girls afternoon" in the room). Anyway... that'll be in my suitcase so if anyone needs to use it just let me know.

I'm trying to figure how I want to do the shirts for embarkation day. I want to use our logo, but can't decide if I want to put it on the front or back of the shirt. What's everybody else doing? If I put it on the back, I guess I would put something on the "pocket" . I figured a white shirt. My 3 boys want a different shirt each day. At least I have disigns saved, just have to get some shirts and more iron on transfers.

I'm mailing a box down to DCL the week before. I'm putting all the "extras" in there. I haven't done this before, but I know plenty of people on the boards have done it without any problems... Just an option...other than the backpack!

There are instructions in the FAQ on the main cruise board that include the address, box dimensions and weight but it works like a charm. I have done it several times - the box has always been in the cabin before our luggage is finished arriving.

Other than men to men and ladies to ladies, and I will not put people in the same group together I don't really do anything other than kind of pull them out of a hat - and that is a pretty literal statement.

Glad I could help out. As for what to put on the lanyards, I think whatever is decided upon will be great.

Speaking of FE, this morning I added me and my mom to the FE list on the spreadsheet and ordered FE gifts. Once I receive them it will make this cruise seem all the more real. Now where to store them until the cruise is another story. We just moved so I guess I'll have to find the perfect spot for them until then.
