Super cute Denise! Are you setting up a "shop" on Cafepress or something along those lines?
Hey there, hi there, ho there everyone!
In re working with CafePress to get the shirts done, I'm not quite sure how this is going to work yet. I know that with my free store I'm only allowed to have one of each product type in the store. So I could put the t-shirt up for sale (and I'll only be charging cost, nothing extra or anything

) but I don't believe I'd be able to personalize it if I do it that way. I do have the question in to CafePress though and expect to hear back from them withing 24 hours (maybe by sometime Sunday or Monday). I'll let you know if they come up with a way to personalize it in my free store.
If not, I'll try to open up several stores... one for each personalized t-shirt. Then I can give you links to the stores and you can shop in each store (i.e. store1 might be you, store2 might be hubby, store3 might be child #1, etc.) and get all that in your shopping cart and then check out.
I did start to set something up in the hopes that I can figure out the personalization issues. At first I was thinking we'd do the shirts in DisBoard lime green, but the design doesn't look right on that.
I'm going to review CafePress's guidelines on printing on darker colors and maybe I can figure out a way to make it look right on the green. I think it'd be fun to have Disboard green shirts. But it looks much better (right now) on white.
If I can get it set up right, you'll get to pick which color you like. Both of these shirts will be about $14.99 (which is, again, the regular base price, nothing added on by me), but CP will probably add something for shipping or tax or something. They also have a value t-shirt in white that's only like $8.99 but it's much thinner, if memory serves.
I also just tried it on dark-color t-shirts and it looks pretty good (which suggests to me that the lime green may not be fixable, but I'll try). I found that I was able to add the dark color t-shirt and there's several different colors to choose from. I'm going to try to post the link here but I don't know if it will fly. If you get a chance, head out to
http://www.cafepress.com/DblDipDelight and check out the shirt choices.
Anyway... so that's where the CafePress thing stands right now. As soon as I know more about our personalization options I'll start setting things up. Y'all let me know if you're going to want shirts and if so, do you want them personalized and if so what names do you want on them for your family and what colors you'll be wanting. I think for mine we're going with Hypermommy, King Charming and Eating Machine #1 and Eating Machine #2. I'll have to see how the boys feel about being called eating machines. Or maybe I'll just do it and tell them they have to wear it. I'm the momma and they know if Momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy.
Now, as to ice cream flavors... I'm going to give it a try with the different flavors. I think that'd be fun, if everyone was able to have their favorite flavor on their t-shirt. I don't know if my graphics skills are up to it, but I'll give it a try and let y'all know how it comes out.
Rolled the coins in the cruise piggy bank and took empties back to the beverage store so that's $115. into the cruise fund!!
Wow!!!!!!! Yeah, KC likes saving the coins and heading off to the bank with them now and again and he comes back with more than I'd ever figure was in there. Amazing, isn't it?
Chocolate! Any time, any location, any format.....you know, its a FACT (at least thats what I tell my husband) that women NEED chocolate. It makes us easier to live with.
Yep, just give us the chocolate and no one gets hurt! LOL
Okay, I'm off to play with ice cream flavors.
