Hi Denise,
Thanks for all your work...any chance we can order kid sized shirts? Not sure how to add that into the basket.

Doh!!! Complete oversight on my part. They're there now.

Hi my name is Helenna and I'm coming on the cruse with my dh:lovestruc

Hi Helenna!!!! Welcome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please do PM me with your email addy so I can get you access to the spreadsheet (full of useful info) and our private board (not behind a firewall or anything but it's a URL that isn't known) where we're playing games and sharing pictures and having a great ol' time... almost as much fun as here!

I'm not sure about getting the shirts for Di and I.:confused3 I have to ask T if he wants one. But that could change. Will let you know later.:rolleyes1 Have a great day :cheer2:

That's the beauty of it now. Since I'm not personalizing the shirts y'all can get or not get as you see fit. Hmmm.... wonder if KC will get a t-shirt and a sweatshirt and a bag! :rotfl2:

I don't check for one weekend and we've covered 2 1/2 pages! You'd think the cruise was only 250 days away or something... :lmao:

Welcome, Helena! Don't worry about being a newbie - we were all there once and this is a great group to hang out with!

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
'cept me... I'm the resident pain in the butt. Just ask my hubby KC (King Charming... because "prince" would be a demotion). He'll be happy to tell ya!

I wonder if other people (non-Disers) get this excited this far out from their cruise? Ha Ha Ha

Nope.. Mundanes think we're nuts. Of course, since they have no magic left in their world, they're welcome to think whatever they want, the doofy gits!!!

Okay... better get off of here and back to work. :scared1:

Oh, one more quick thing. Thanks to Gail's most excellent and wise suggestion :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: I have a couple of links in my signature now. One of them is to the latest spreadsheet data. The other is to the Secret Mickeys "rules". As more things are firmed up I'll be adding more links. And the rest of you Pixie-Dusters, if I left out something that you posted, just let me know the post number and I'll get it in there.

Okay, now I'm going back to work :headache:

 No problem but I have another suggestion. Why don't you just make your spreadsheet post be 'all knowning' and reference posts from there. Your signature line may fill fast.

Good idea. I'll probably end up doing that if the sig starts to fill. But for now I'm going to leave it the way it is so folks can hone in on the specific info they need quickly. But if the sig starts to fill up more quickly I'll go the way you suggest.

You're so smart!!!!!!!!! Thanks so much for helping me stay straight. Just ask KC, I need all the help I can get!!!!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

No, no, no! That won't do at all!!! bumpity-bump-bump back to page 1! :rotfl2: :thumbsup2

Also, (I found this on another board) if you have the DIY channel there's a cool-sounding special this weekend:

On Sunday March 15, 2009 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM on DIY Network

Project Xtreme
Matt Blashaw gets an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look into the world of the popular Disney Cruise Line and sees how they keep the magic alive during their 17-day "dry dock" restoration of the Disney "Magic" ship. From dry docking a ship weighing nearly 85,000 tons to using a pressure washer so powerful it could cut through concrete with ease and painting the hull of the ship, to jack-hammering and resurfacing the Mickey Mouse Pool, to reinstalling giant propellers, thrusters and stabilizers that are as tall as a house, Blashaw unveils the amount of work that goes into keeping the popular vacation destination afloat!

This show will repeat Sunday March 15, 2009 from 11:00 PM to 12:00 AM

Hi y'all,

Only have a moment but I wanted to let you know I got a note from CafePress yesterday. They claim that our design is copyright infringement and have blocked it. I'm going to review their terms of service this weekend and see if there's any kind of appeal I can make but I thought I'd let you know what's happening. If the appeal doesn't work then I'll look for another online place to print them.

Just letting you know.

Where is the map from - maybe that is it??? I will say that the last time I was involved with a DIS group that did a graphic through Cafe Press, it was a photograph of the ship with our group name and the sailing dates.

:hippie: Can I just say I have the WORST case of SPRING FEVER! We have had some warm sunny days followed by snow this morning. Come on SPRING!

Huge Bummer about Cafepress. I wonder if Disney is cracking down in general? I have heard that a few of the designers on the "DISigns" threads have been shut down as well.
:confused3

Hi everyone! Haven't posted in a while cause our household has been dealing with a stomach flu bug. Nothing says "mom" like having to change sheets in the middle of the night. Hopefully we're over the worst of it (oh, did I just jinx it?!?!).

Hypa, hope you can find a loophole or an alternate t-shirt site.

It's beautifully sunny here today but cold (-9). I'm doing a 5K race tomorrow and it's supposed to warm up to -5 :rotfl: . Our March Break is next week so I'm gearing up with a Pub visit tonight with a bunch of other moms. :dance3:

Have a great day everyone!!

Did they tell you exactly what part of the design is copyright infringement? Maybe we can change it enough to not be a problem.

Whew! Did that feel like a Mickey Mouse roll call or what? :rotfl2: But there's still a few names I haven't heard from. Anyone know anything definitive on the following:

mommyarewegoingback
mommykeg
txtwins2000
smye1stdisneycruise
HuskerMickey
racrj
Dishy24
LindaBabe

See... it's a much smaller list this time! LOL

Oh no! I'm still here! And am so coming. I can't wait for it! Neither can my family. We are still looking to do the dolphin excursion and join all of you disers for the meets, fe and secret mickeys. I'll try to keep up with all of you :)

I'm guessing it was the general mickey head shape of it, but no, i haven't had a chance to ask them directly yet. Just got the note late yesterday and had some stuff I had to do last night. But I'm definitely be in contact with them to find out what it was.

It's a DONE DEAL people! :woohoo:
This cruise is all paid for:banana:
And the Husband didn't even notice the 359.00 tacked on??
sshhhh, he has no idea WHAT a REAS is anyway. He'll be surprised!

Denise - I find it difficult to believe that it is the shape in and of itself but stranger things have happened I guess. We had tee shirts done for a family cruise, we put the DCL swish on the sleeve and the company here in town said NOTHING. Took it right out of a DCL coloring book along with a Mickey head family crest!

Well, it is Friday everyone! I hope that everyone has fun plans and your area is warm and sunny. We may get sun but not too warm. Have you all had enough of my show whining? The total count so far is 216 inches - that is 18feet! Golly! Even that amazes me.

Have a great weekend.

:scared1: Page THREE??? No way! Bumping back to page one.

I hope this means that everyone has had a funfilled weekend!

http://www.cruisett.com/ports.php

That is a site that shows which ships will be in port on any given day. There will be 5 other ships besides the Magic in port on Cozumel day - only two others in GC. The most fantastic news is that NO ONE else will be on CC :lmao:. Wow - 6 ships is a lot of people to "digest" onto an island.

New Roman"]I was reading the "notes to self" that I had written after our last cruise and thought this might be fun for all to chime in on. How about if we post "things we wish we had done or things we learned for our next cruise" ideas?
My list looks like this:

a small watch to hang on my lanyard (or beach bag) and extra batteries. (They do not sell watch batteries on the ship)
Social cards. Something small with our names and email address to share.

A couple of Thank You note cards. I am always amazed at some of the generous and kindhearted people I meet on the ship...These people help keep the magic of our trips alive and I would like to thank them for that.

Lip balm in every pocket

Photo spots..where or what area make GREAT photos!

List of hidden mickeys on the ship

Fabric softner sheets

night light or LED candle

Anywhere spray.....I know they clean, but did they get the tv remote? (yes I am a bit germaphobic.....:rolleyes1

And last, some kind of a beach chair cover with a place to put my book and a cup holder??? Maybe I am dreaming here, but the plastic sticks to my legs..:scared1:

Please post any ideas you have! I will keep track of them and list them all again at a point about a month out from our cruise date
:dance3:[/FONT]

I get 3 towels when I go to the pool. One to place on the back of the chair, one for the seat/leg part and another to dry myself off when I get out of the pool. I have never seen a shortage of towels during the day at the adult pool.

I have also turned into a hair dryer snob in my old age and always bring my own. I didn't on the Southern and NEVER, EVER again will I do that again. The ones they have just don't work on my hair.

Reading material

Copies of excursion information and confirmations, especially if you booked something outside of DCL (I forgot once).

Suntan lotion - it is expensive on the ship.

Small first aid kit - trips to the medical office onboard are expensive.

Seasick meds - and take them before you get sick. Grab a few green apples from Topsiders to keep in your cabin as they say (I don't know as I have not gotten sick to find out) it helps once you feel queasy.

A vactaion attitude and your manners. Funny how some people leave these at home;)

We passed the 8 month mark last weekend!!! WooHoo!!! :cheer2:

Elderfam - you might add first feeding to your list... If you're doing the Stingray encounter at CC, sign up for the first feeding. Our castmember told us that's always the feeding with the most activity among the stingrays because it's been a while since they had been fed.
