We just booked today as well, and are so excited! We will be cruising along with grlzmom's family.

It will be myself, DH, and DS7. We also have older kids that will not be able to miss school.
This will be my 8th cruise, my DH's 7th, and DS's 6th.

I saw something about a google account workbook? Does it have to be gmail email, or can it be a google account that I look into blogger with?

Great! Now you need to pm either Hypermommy or mousemom11 with your gmail address (or if you don't have one, get one first, THEN pm it to one of them). One of them will give you access to the cruise spreadsheet where you can enter information about you and your family, as well as see ours. This is especially important if you're planning to do FE gifts.

Don't forget to do the above, we used our regular email account to register on the Google Boards,so I don't believe you need to create a new email. But Like LindaBabe said, PM Hypermom or Mousemom, they are great with all that and the nicest people.

One housekeeping note.... We are rapidly approaching the 250 page limit this thread. Since I'm not on here enough to be able to catch the thread before it gets locked, can someone please keep an eye on the page count and when we are on page 250, PLEASE start a new thread, and post a link to that thread in this one.

On to other news...

Bad news this week (no, it won't affect our travel plans). We had a storage shed in our back yard burglerized and the theives stole a riding mower, weed-eater, gas can, and damaged the shed in the process. So, on top of trying to organize for the trip, I'm dealing with insurance, police, and trying to get prices for replacment equipment, security cameras, fencing, etc...

Some Neutral news.....No cruise docs yet. I'm guessing my AAA rep will get them this week and let me know either the end of this week or early next.

Now for the good news....On Saturday November 14th everyone that's on the ship is invited to participate in my hosting of a DCL House Party !!! Oh yeah... I got picked for my second DCL House Party. I was lucky enough to get selected for the first party last year, and I just got the email confirming my selection for this years party. I just hope my party package arrive before we leave for Florida. Since hte House Party is set for Saturday, We'll have a quick photo op, a few souveniers passed out and a toast to a great cruise.

Anyway... 'night all.... it's one night closer to the cruise!!!

Also with all the Land's End talk again, and since I did not think I liked my one piece that I ordered, I ordered a different one last night. Hopefully I will like this one better? Will have to see.

Oh and I also got picked to host a Disney Party! First time and did not realize it was supposed to be on the night we cruise!

Dh is reserve and when he was on active duty we almost got sent to Minot ND. Ended up in Anchorage Alaska instead. We didn't take any Disney trips while on that tour.

Is way easier to cruise when you live within driving distance. I've been in Florida for a year and way convenient for my DCL obsession.

Of course we'll be on the ship, that's what will make our party so unique!!! And our party won't be JUST on the 14th, it'll be an all week party!! LOL

Tara - congrats also being selected. Bring your party kit (if it arrives before you leave for the ship) and we'll combine forces for the party.



So here's the plan for our DCL House party. Those of you that have been invited to mine and Tara's party, you're invitation should be arriving (they look just like the DCL Cruise docs, so don't forget them). You need your invitation to attend the party... no invitation, no party for you.

We'll have a large reception room (a.k.a. the DCL Terminal) for you to check in and mingle before the party begins. It should be decorated with Disney stuff, and I'l still trying to arrange the Christmas decorations.

Once you are allowed into the party ship (a.k.a. the Magic), they will take your picture, call out your name, and then you can feast on one of two buffet areas, swim in the pools, get your drinks, etc...

After that have fun, enjoy yourself, and enjoy the party we are throwing for you..... oh, but there will be a bill at the end you will have to settle with the ship.... Sorry..

Sorry about the burglary..our house was burglarized once and it was not fun.
