I just checked mine and it is all there. You need to scroll further down the page from that message. Below that is a section for Reserve Activities where you can book Excusions/Spa/Palo. And in the section below that it will show you your current reservations.

Same here - although mine still shows no availability for Palo Brunch! :sad2:

I don't usually pass along joke emails, but I thought this was a good one
for us parents who had to grow up through those tough years of the 60s and
70s!

When I was a kid, adults used to bore me to tears with their tedious
diatribes about how hard things were. When they were growing up; what with
walking Twenty-five miles to school every morning.... Uphill....
barefoot... BOTH ways Yadda, yadda, yadda

And I remember promising myself that when I grew up, there was no way in
hell I was going to lay a bunch of crap like that on my kids about how hard
I had it and how easy they've got it!

But now that.... I'm over the ripe old age of fifty, I can't help but look
around and notice the youth of today.

You've got it so easy! I mean, compared to my childhood, you live in a damn
Utopia!

And I hate to say it, but you kids today, you don't know how good you've
got it!

I mean, when I was a kid we didn't have The Internet. If we wanted to know
something, we had to go to the damn library and look it up ourselves, in
the card catalogue!!

There was no email!! We had to actually write somebody a letter - with a
pen!

Then you had to walk all the way across the street and put it in the
mailbox and it would take, like, a week to get there! Stamps were 10 cents!

Child Protective Services didn't care if our parents beat us. As a matter
of fact, the parents of all my
friends also had permission to kick our ***! Nowhere was safe!

There were no MP3's or Napsters! If you wanted to steal music, you had to
hitchhike to the damn record store and shoplift it yourself!

Or you had to wait around all day to tape it off the radio and the DJ would
usually talk over the beginning and @#*% it all up! There were no CD
players! We had tape decks in our car. We'd play our favorite tape and
"eject" it when finished and the tape would come undone. Cause - that's how
we rolled, dig?

We didn't have fancy crap like Call Waiting! If you were on the phone and
somebody else called they got a busy signal, that's it!

And we didn't have fancy Caller ID either!
When the phone rang, you had no idea who it was! It could be your school,
your mom, your boss, your bookie, your drug dealer, a collections agent,
you just didn't know!!! You had to pick it up and take your chances,
mister!

We didn't have any fancy Sony Playstation video games with high-resolution
3-D graphics! We had the Atari 2600! With games like 'Space Invaders' and
'Asteroids'. Your guy was a little square! You actually had to use your
imagination!! And there were no multiple levels or screens; it was just one
screen.... forever! And you could never win... The game just kept getting
harder and harder and faster and faster until you died! Just like LIFE!

You had to use a little book called a TV Guide to find out what was on! You
were screwed when it came to channel surfing! You had to get off your ***
and walk over to the TV to change the channel! NO REMOTES!!!

There was no Cartoon Network either! You could only get cartoons on
Saturday Morning. Do you hear what I'm saying!?! We had to wait ALL WEEK
for cartoons, you spoiled little rat-*******s!

And we didn't have microwaves, if we wanted to heat something up we had to
use the stove! Imagine that!

That's exactly what I'm talking about! You kids today have got it too easy.
You're spoiled. You guys wouldn't have lasted five minutes back in 1970 or
before!

Regards,
The Over 30 Crowd

:rotfl:

:rotfl2: Kids today have also never had to wear Dittos or Dolphin shorts!

in the 1950's telephones were black and weighed a TON, phone numbers in our area were 5 digits, and the ones in the city were things like GRidley 77689 Or HObart 65000. An operator placed your long distance calls. Party lines were cheaper and you could tell by the ring which house should answer. Which was useful, because when you expected an important call but had to be away, you could ask your neighbor to pick up and take a message.

We conserved water too. The washer was done in a wringer washer, with a tub of rinse water and a tub of rinse water with bluing sitting beside it. First you washed your whites, ran them through the wringer, then into the rinse water and then through the wringer, and then into the bluing. Then the light colors went through the same routine - skip the bluing. And finally the darks and last of all, if your husband was a farmer or mechanic the REALLY dirty darks. All the clothes were hung out to dry, too, either outside on a long line with a pulley, or on lines in the basement. It took the better part of a day to do the wash, so you didn't wear a shirt just once and then toss it in the basket. And you took off and carefully hung up your school clothes and put on your play clothes when you got home from school.

Boy. I must be older than dirt.

Got my documents today!! :cool1::cool1::cool1:

Got my SM assignment too!!:cool1::cool1::cool1:

It's getting closer.....

Cheers,
Lisa

No Documents for us:sad2:

I guess my fed ex jokes were read by a forum member, And he/she has the last laugh.

:headache:

Ack! As the date gets closer, I get crazier! Let's just say I spent today rearranging our precruise plans and am paying a lot more $$ for convenience. That said, I'll be cancelling a 2BR suite at Residence Inn 11/13 if anyone needs it. I'm also cancelling rental cars from Avis & Budget on 11/13, 11/14 & 11/21.

No one around here seems to sell swimmy diapers now. (where's the thunk icon?)

I had a one woman fashion show tonight. I have a lot more weight to lose than I thought. My (realistic) goal for the next 3.5 weeks is 5 pounds, but that's a drop in the bucket from where I want to be.

Once I'm on the boat, all will be well. It's the getting to that point that's gunna suck the life out of me. No docs here, either.

I too was in panic mode over the swimmy diapers...then I got lucky and found a whole bunch in the clearance aisle at walmart! They weren't with the diapers though...just a random stack in the marked-down section, so you might check there. 8 bucks for a huge pack!!

No cruise docs here either...I keep running to the mailbox everyday in my pajamas as soon as the mailman comes by. My neighbors must think I'm crazy! :rotfl:

I hope the next couple weeks fly by....

:cool1: FEAR THE MONKEY!!!! :cool1:

(Hopefully someone other than me understands this!) You have to be an :littleangel: fan to appreciate it. ;)
I TOTALLY understand!!!

Are you guys down to dragging a tattered old monkey out just for a little self respect? :confused3 Although it may have worked tonight, it's obvious that his mojo is so weak it took 11 inning to pull it out. :rotfl2: May the best team win...
Whatever it takes baby!

What does that say for the Yankees' mojo then? It took them 13 innings to do the same thing on Saturday... and in the "Bronx Wind Tunnel".. I mean.. Yankee Stadium, too.
Good comeback!

XXCell - loved your joke!

Gotta get back to the game... down 5-1 and not looking good..:sad1:

If you get stuck, Disney has that new program where you can order baby supplies ahead of time and have them delivered to your stateroom...it was on the website. Just in case...

So, where did you decide to stay? Your original plan sounded like a plan. Doncha HATE these sessions with the mirror? I avoid them as much as possible:rotfl2:

Welcome SemiKat! Yes, I know s/he hasn't posted yet on this board, but I daresay s/he will - I found Semi on the PC2011 thread and sent an invitation.

Good morning all!!! Exxcel, loved your look at how life was when we were kids. If any of y'all are my friends on facebook check out the video I posted this morning. It's a guy talking about how you hated folks with zeros in their phone numbers because it took so long to dial and how today's young folks are sooooooo impatient (just think about how they act if they don't get their text messages immediately).

Also, thanks to mrp... for letting me know about the spam on the private website. I've reset it so that I have to approve any new memberships and hopefully this will prevent this. And if I don't recognize the user name I won't approve it. Soooo... if we get any new people or if anyone else wants to check the private board, send me a PM or an email letting me know what username you're picking so I can authorize you.

Now... with that said, I have to get ready for work. Hope y'all ahve a great day!!!!

I bought stay certificates for the Hyatt at the airport. We're taking Happy Limo to & from port. Since there are 7 of us including a semi-incompacitated Sr and a 2 YO, & we arrive at 9:30 PM, it will make life much simpler.

I may have to use the grocery stop & get baby supplies at Walmart en route to the ship. I tested out the baby supply company. Between the up-pricing (not THAT bad) and the shipping cost...

Just so ya know, I totally related to most of the items in the joke, and I'm not 40 YET, so none of you are as old as you're leading us to believe. ;)

Got my documents today!! :cool1::cool1::cool1:

Got my SM assignment too!!:cool1::cool1::cool1:

Boy oooh you're so lucky!!  Do you think they're delivering to out of states first? :confused3 It seems the Canadians are all getting there's. I keep checking everyday. I'm just too excited!

I got my SM too! Thanks glindamood!

I'm going to become much more interested in my mailbox now that people are getting their documents. Also, I got my fishy gifts last night! They sure do take up a lot of space. :faint:

9:30 at night!:scared1: No WONDER you needed simpler!

Yeah, but after you give them out, look how much empty space you'll have to bring stuff HOME in! Also, have you tried rolling your clothes like teeshirts, underwear and so forth? I find I save a lot of space doing that with anything that wrinkles don't matter.

I like the travel Space Bags. I tried them on a trip this summer and fell in love! I wouldn't put anything that can't get wrinkled in them, but socks, undies, etc... for the trip out and then all dirty clothes for the trip home work great!

Have all SM assignments been given? Or will they still be arriving over the next couple of days?
